Square or squares may refer to:
P-Square are a Nigerian R&B duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye.
The story of P-Square began in St. Murumba secondary school, a small Catholic school in Jos, Nigeria. Identical twins Peter and Paul joined their school music and drama club where they began singing, dancing, and miming songs by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.
They later formed an a cappella quartet called "MMMPP" (M Clef a.k.a. Itemoh, Michael, Melvin, Peter and Paul). Drawing inspiration from their music idol Michael Jackson, they began break dancing, formed the group called "Smooth Criminals" in 1997. They droped M Clef from the group "MMMPP" which later was changed to "MMPP". Their artistic talent and precise dance routine soon made them household names in the city of Jos, where they performed at school functions and other occasions.
Later in 1999, Peter and Paul returned to music school to develop their skills on keyboard, drums, bass and rhythm guitar. Their work includes the soundtracks for a number of films like Tobi, Mama Sunday, Moment of Bitterness and Evas River.

i give up
i'm lost inside my heart when you're around
i never know just what i'm saying
i try
i try but every word comes out all wrong
i think you're so intimidating
L7 you are so square
is what you say
the clothes that i wear
and what is up with your hair
is what you say
but all my friends say it's ok
i give up
i'm drowning in the Sea of You and Me
i never want to come up gasping for air
i stare but in your eyes so distantly
i think you're so intimidating
L7 you are so square
is what you say
the clothes that i wear
and what is up with your hair
is what you say
but all my friends say it's ok
is there a way
work through our problems now and
we'll waste some time
cause i'm not gonna change
cause it's not so bad to be different
we're working out fine
and i know opposites attract and
i know what you mean in fact
we all could use a litte change
just tell me what to do
i give up
i'm lost inside my heart when you're around
i never know just what i'm saying
i try
i try but every word comes out all wrong
i think you're so intimidating
(chorus)
i live here alone
she said no one bothers me
fate has brought me here
i guess temporarily i find it hard
to remember how i got here at all
the very ones who made me
now wait to see me fall
i find it hard to imagine
how will this whole thing end
i'd rather still be no one
than call these fools my friends
from the street they yell at me
they know my name
how can i defend myself
thomas must have been confused
there's nothing in here we can use
every road in every town
how could he know anyhow
solo highway headed east
headlights on
but we won't see the distance that we leave behind
will catch up with us in good time
yeah let's put the windows down
the desert makes a lovely sound pretense
disappears difference is we're still here
lincoln runs so nice from it all
i know what you want to hear
that the end of perquisite is near
i won't interfere with your work
and when i cry
you won't see
you won't hear
yeah pull over
we'll sleep here
jenny jenny
you don't say it's true
what you did
jenny jenny
me can you not see you're my girl
can't you see i'm the one who loves you
can't you see i'm the one who cares
jenny after all you had the nerve to call
what's your deal jenny
in the end you did it with a friend
you're so typical
can't you see
i'm the one who loves you
can't you see
who would i be to tell you
what you should or shouldn't do
would that be right
it couldn't matter
what you say
you have my heart and my mind
i can pretend i don't love you
but when i close my eyes
i see the one who brought me here
and i can no longer lie
i see the one
i should've seen before now
i see you
and i need your love and you need mine
will we realize
who would i be to tell you
how you should or shouldn't feel
would that be right
it couldn't matter
what you say i still feel the same
as if to mock
my well crafted allure
your calculated poise
so debonair
if i could only place that shallow look
i had to act like i didn't know
it hit a bit too close to home
as soon as you turned away
i knew i had your full attention
but it wouldn't last a tiny piece
of a monolithic act
no sign of a segure
i just stared her down as if to say
touché jackie well done
i'd say a fine display from a worthy opponent
two salutes from the ones who thought they had half a
chance
of a temporary fad
such a cruel way to treat your sorry lads
i wish that i could use a little more of my brain
so i could even keep up with you
i'd say something clever
like charlie chan's number one son
and you could see me impress everyone
as sure as the nonsence written here
too late for work again
so she had some wine instead
those worn out goals
seem insurmountable to what she has
her boyfriend says that trust
is something earned but love
is everywhere
she can't even hear through her lust
so don't talk loudly
when you're at a restaurant
it might be wise to ask
as if though nothing's up
a public intervention may be on its way
chrome buddy
it's a lie if i would say
that i'm better off
without you anyway
do you think that i would
spend every waking minute
if i didn't need you
didn't need you
didn't need you?
hung over
so to speak
hard to get on her feet
and a danish roll leaves a lot to be desired as her
only greeting
try to make up lost time
reflections catch her eye
and it's back to bed
with visions of the chrome in her head
so don't act tough and try to play it down
because the way you walk
automatically makes you a target
a whole new breed of support groups
are in the making
chrome buddy
it's a lie if i would say
that i'm better off without you anyway
do you think that
i would spend every waking minute
if i didn't need you
didn't need you
didn't need you
chrome buddy
it's a lie if i would say
that i'm better off without you anyway
do you think that i would spend every waking minute
if i didn't need you
didn't need you
ask your education
why we all ignore the facts
choose to close our eyes
cause they know better than you and i
the scary truth
about flying the friendly skies
seems like everybody's dying
no one left to ask who first saw the fire
we're all flying by wire who has control
was bill gates ever a pilot
if ralph nader said
don't fly dc10 thousands every year
would they even hear fuel inerting is wise
but the cost is too high
your cooperation
please it seems we've overbooked
who'll give up their seat
don't be afraid of a little ice
this is your cowboy speaking
please prepare for flight so thank you
f.a.a thank you
f.b.i no one walks away
i had it all lived under marbie ceilings
i slept all day in the finest satin sheetings
i rode to town in my custom stretched
whatever
i made my rounds dictating current fashion
but anyway school taught me nothing at all
books taught me nothing at all
girls taught me nothing at all
sex taught me nothing at all
my friends came around to share
it was my pleasure
we sat around in vintage herman miller
but anyway news taught me nothing at all
friends taught me nothing at all
drugs taught me nothing at all
jail taught me nothing at all
ask me how i learned to be this so refined
its that you see a common bond with no one
and a certain destiny
is that really it for me
a distant sympathy
is that all you have for me
we never even stopped to question
what we all were doing
unfounded criticism
we'd all laugh
is so annoying
and so i distance myself
from the ones who watched me
falling
it's too late
and as someone held onto my hand
until i stopped breathing
i had a dram that i was still alive
and i was crying
i saw my mother standing over me
she looked is happy
cite me
i'm who you're looking for
stop me before i go too far
help me
i cannot help myself
hold me
i'm responsible cuffs
please
it's better if i can't move towards you
you've got too much to prove
hear me
you can't hear nothin else
but you capital offense
who can stop the miracle cop
who can stop the biggest man
he can't stop
it's a miracle that i'm still alive
we're all as good as dead
it's gotta stop
the nazi profilers
the ego wielding machines
amy blew up a carls jr
she left a note at her boyfriends
said i'm feeling much better
so don't come look for me
cause i really need to be alone
i'm wanted now and they'll follow me
i know they will
i'll write to you but don't expect me to come home
highway to see her brother danny
he was shooting a porno
with a camera that he stole from curcuit city
he said you can't stay here
cause i can't attract attention
you're wanted now and they'll follow you
i know they will
what the hell were you thinking
no wait
i think i know basketball means nothing anymore
i watch the cars go by and i wonder what they're for
my tv set has replaced what was in my head
amy she moved to new york city
she got a job and a pistol
that she carried on the subway
she said don't follow me
cause it's really best that i'm alone
i'm trying now to fit in with the rest of them
too late for you
but maybe you can help me
go spread the word to your idiot friends
i could talk all day
and still no one would hear me
so i sit all night and plan for the end
i think it's time for blackout
turn off the radio
open your tiny little minds
listen for once
what you've been missing all your life
no more video
every satellite stand
by ready or not
i'm pulling the plug
so step aside direct connect
if it makes you feel better
don't get too attached
i just gave word
my boys up state
are down with apple vengeance
they taught me in school
that i didn't know a thing at all
and busy busy people passed me
as i strolled the hall
but what my educated friends
could have never had known
is i was contemplating my escape
and visualizing
i decided early that i had to have it all
26 or i won't make it
26 or else
26 or i won't make it
26 or else
do do do ba ba ba...
don't you think it
not far away i set a date
to rendezvous with myself
paid no attention to the schedules
set by somebody else
i couldn't say i had
a very different mission in mind
cause i was strategizing
my success and conceptualizing
i decided early that i had to do it right
26 or i won't make it
26 or else
26 or I won't make it
26 or else
do do do ba ba ba...
yeah yeah yeah
26 or i won't make it
26 or else
26 or i won't make it
'It's not fair' you say. I'm square. It's okay with me, I
don't want to be cool. Make up your mind. I've found
you'll find it's not really so hard to do. Don't take
this wrong. It's all good. Belong! And don't complain
it's all the same to you. I say to myself, I shout to the
