"tyler
my darling
i need you with me
don't run don't hide

i need you here
what about the kids
baby please
come on hey hey

tyler
come back
i love you
and you know you love me
admit and come back soon
Appeal to the governor of Louisiana
You may get an answer the process is slow
Federal government too much to help him
It's been nearly five years
And they won't let him go
[Chorus:]
Tyler is guilty the white judge has said so
What right do we have to say it's not so
Tyler is guilty the white judge has said so
What right do we have to say it's not so
Testify under pressure, a racist jury
Government lawyers its all for show
With rows of white faces
False accusations
He's framed up for murder
They won't let him go
[Chorus]
Police gun was planted
No matching bullets
No prints on the handle, no proof to show
But tyler is guilty the white judge has said so
They show him no mercy
They won't let him go
[Chorus]
Appeal to the governor of Louisiana
You may get an answer the process is slow
Federal government too much to help him
It's been nearly five years
And they won't let him go
And she runs through her days
With a smile on her face
And she runs and she waits
And I wait
We can drive to any place
Day and night to cross the state
And in the morning into Mexico
We will wake up
We will wake up
We will, oh yeah, yeah
I'll be with her yeah
I find a window in the kitchen and I let myself in
Rummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beer
I can't believe I'm really here and she's lying in that bed
I can almost feel her touch and her anxious breath
I stumble in the hallway, outside her bedroom door
I hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voice
She pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door
I will be with her tonight, yeah
I will be with her tonight
I will be with her tonight, yeah yeah
I will be with her tonight
I will be with her, yeah yeah
I will be with her, yeah yeah
How's the neighbor boy?
Did you give his toys back to him?
Tell him to enjoy
Who'll the girls annoy after this?
Mama loves you
We all love you
And we'll fix you soon
But if I were here
Just another year
It'd bring another tear
So you can't hold on
Cause I'm gonna be gone
But I love you
I know it's so bizarre
And it's probably hard to admit
But I won't be far after all
Well leaving
Ain't easy
Been grieving
So long
Mama loves you
We all love you
And we'll fix you soon
One day we'll all be gone
But the world keeps moving around
The one thing that ever lasts
Is a love that isn't bound by death
Mama loves you
We all love you
And we'll be there soon
So don't be sad
And don't be mad
The pain is half the reason that I love you
And she runs through her days with a smile on her face
And she runs, and she waits, and I wait
We can drive to anyplace, day or night, across the state
And in the morning, into Mexico, we will wake up
I find a window in the kitchen, and I let myself in
Rummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beer
I can't believe I'm really here, and she's lying in that bed
I can almost feel her touch, and her anxious breath!
I stumble in the hallway, outside her bedroom door
I hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voice
She pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door
I will be with her tonight!
Sky is my sea, worlds are his dreams.
He's my world he smiles and it shows that inside theres hope.
He'll never run away, no he'll always stay. to mend her broken heart.
And he'll stay just to find what she's lost in her mind. and he'll say dont you cry. Thats what calleb says.
When the dog runs out and she's talking about her best days, well, he'll be there. They'd,watch the stars, he'd hold her tight. The night would never end.
They said I'm crazy
I'm still ith you baby
they said I'm nutts and
look where we are today
Chorus
Shaed your light on me
all I wanna see
Shed your light on me your face is all I wanna see
sometimes i think a bout the way i feel for youI'm in your dreams...
your dreams
Chorus
When I go somewhere
And you aint there it dont feel the same coz your my love.Come on (come on)
I just cant deny it (deny it) you know I cant defy it (defy it) Baby...
It could be the way he smiles. The twinkle in his eyes.look how he walks.smiles as he talks...but does he know?
He'd look at you-all innocently.with his pleading eyes-Would He know?
(bridge)
smallest of words, set you up Its taken control of your heart.
Let it breath
(chorus)
you'll know when, you walk miles (just to be together)
You'll know when, he holds you (just to have you near)
you'll know...
when it happens
just coz he said, doesnt mean he meant it.just take some time to consider.
keep in mind, you might end up bitter.
he couldnt possibley have known.
(Bridge+Chorus)
Why give my all to some one who could care less?
Its happened so many times its become a habit.
I could give my heart to any, I'll know who
when it happens
This is exactly how I dreamed it.
You and me
Perfectly together...
This is my heaven
sweet tender love and after.
(what will be)
A little kiss or two
not rushing this,
(How will it end)
With fantasies throughout the night.
Cant you stay just a little longer?
This kiss
This place,
This time
I'm gonna make it happen.
At first a kiss
Then the lips I miss,
We'll end the night knowing bliss
Saw you again in my dreams
something tells me...
This time its real.
I'm tossing and turning
Cant seem to remember..
(How you kiss me gently...
Knowing you're not here with me)
I dont know how love can be so cruel.
(what will it be)
listen,you got to understand-
(How will it end)
This might be the end
end of our road together
we've said our goodbyes.
This might be the last of the night stars, we both know.
This is our last dance.
You touched my heart
in more ways than I could count
changed my life.
all for the better.
somehow I,would never admit.
How much your love
meant to me.
Now I stand here
With my heart in your hands
hoping that you wont say no
This might be the end.
Of the road.
We've said our goodbyes.
THis might be the last of the night stars,
We both know.
This is our last dance.
It seemed like a dream,a nightmare.I'm torn up inside.
So confused.
Did you love me,could you love me?
Now I stand here with my heart in your hands hoping that you wont say no.
This is the end of our road, together.
We've said our goodbyes.
These are the last of the night stars,We both know.
This is our last dance.
Life's not the same.but i guess I'm to blame. The sun dont shine as much.
The stars have no twinkle.
since you've been gone.
Wont you come home?
This is the end of our road, together.Said our goodbyes. These are the last of the night stars,we Both know this is our last dance.
So I'll kiss you goodnight,we'll say goodbye.
Forever.
