The Motion Picture Association of America's film-rating system is used in the U.S. and its territories to rate a film's thematic and content suitability for certain audiences. The MPAA rating scheme applies only to films submitted for rating. The MPAA rating system is a voluntary scheme not enforced by law; and films can be exhibited without a rating, though many theaters refuse to exhibit non-rated or X-rated films. Non-members of MPAA may also submit films for rating. Other media (such as television programs and video games) may be rated by other entities. The MPAA rating system is one of various motion picture rating systems used to help parents decide what movies are appropriate for their children.
In the United States, the MPAA rating scheme is the most-recognized guide for parents regarding the content of films and each rating has been trademarked by MPAA so that they cannot be used by other organizations. The MPAA system has been criticized for the secrecy of its decisions as well as for perceived inconsistencies.
Adidja Palmer (born 7 January 1976)- better known as Vybz Kartel, is a Jamaican dancehall artist, songwriter and businessman. He has many nicknames, including: Addi, The Teacher, World Boss, Kartel, Vybz, Gaza General and Gaza Don.
Adidja Palmer began his career as a teenager in 1993 with his first recording "Love Fat Woman", released on Alvin Reid's label "One Heart", using the moniker "Adi Banton", a homage to Buju Banton. Palmer was later part of the three-member group "Vybez Cartel", keeping the slightly altered name after group split up, and became a protege of Bounty Killer, for whom he claims to have written nearly 30 songs, including "Gal Clown".
Vybz Kartel rose to prominence in 2003 after a string of hits in Jamaica. The year culminated in a pre-planned on-stage clash with Ninjaman at the annual dancehall festival Sting in Kartel's hometown of Portmore. The clash turned violent when Kartel's crewmembers, as well as Kartel himself, threw punches and assaulted Ninjaman onstage. While Kartel's manager initially blamed Ninjaman for the fracas, Kartel himself quickly apologised to Ninjaman and Sting organizers for the fracas. Four days after the incident, the two artists appeared before the press to announce a settlement of their differences and to end any animosity.
Kevin Johansen (born 1964 in Fairbanks, Alaska, USA) is an Argentine-American rock musician. Born to an Argentine mother, Marta Calvet, and an American father, he lived most of his childhood in the San Francisco Bay Area, but moved with his family to Buenos Aires at the age of 12. Later he moved to Montevideo, Uruguay, where he learned to play guitar.
Johansen made a brief appearance in the local rock scene with the band Instrucción Cívica with Julian Benjamin in the 80s who released two albums Obediencia Debida in 1985 and Instrucción Cívica in 1986, but went to New York in 1990. There he met and married his Argentine wife, with whom he has a daughter. He played in the CBGB's club for long years, until he created the group The Nada, and in 2000 recorded the album with the same name, a mix of different Latin sounds with modern pop, funk and rock.
During the same year, and with the new album in his hands, he returned to Argentina, where he currently lives. The album, released by Los Años Luz, was relatively successful and Johansen and the group went on tour as far as Spain (album edited there by K Industrias).
Never said that I was perfect
All the crazy things I do
All the loving we made
I wouldn't trade, girl I love you
But falling in love was not the plan
So honey try to understand
The only thing I can do
Is promise to you, that I won't be true
Don't ask me to be Faithful
‘Cos I've tried so many times
I don't think that I am able
All I am is what I lay out on the table
Don't ask me, don't ask me to be Faithful
You know I hate to lie
I don't have a reason why
To hurt you deliberately
Why can't you see, the others
They don't mean a thing to me
Don't ask me to be Faithful
‘Cos I've tried so many times
I don't think that I am able
All I am is what I lay out on the table
Don't ask me, don't ask me to be Faithful
You want the man I'll never be
I'll be yours unfaithfully
I know in time that when you cry you'll realise
My love is not a crime
Don't ask me to be Faithful
‘Cos I've tried so many times
I don't think that I am able
All I am is what I lay out on the table
Don't ask me, don't ask me
My girl likes to bump and grind
She likes to bump me all the time
I'm gettin' hot, you're in the mood
You wanna do me with some attitude!
You want it hard, don't like it slow
Rev up your motor, you're ready to go!
Too many girls they don't have a clue
But I've got a girl who knows what to do
And she can show you too!
My girl likes to bump and grind
She likes to bump me all the time
Feels so good she blows my mind
My girl likes to bump and grind
Move to the left, move to the right
We're gonna bump, gonna grind all night
I'm getting up, you're goin' down
Spin like a top goin' round and round
I need a girl who can understand
Just how to please the boys in the band
But do you think you can?
My girl likes to bump and grind
She likes to bump me all the time
Feels so good she blows my mind
My girl likes to bump and grind
Everywhere we go
You women wanna know
What it takes to keep your boys in tow
You gotta bump, bump
She likes to bump and grind
You know you got, no, no, you gotta gotta
You gotta bump and grind
My girl likes to bump and grind
She likes to bump me all the time
Feels so good she blows my mind
My girl likes to bump and grind
She likes to bump and grind
Bump and hump me all the time
Feels so good it blows my mind
