Plot
Tani and Kamli are two sisters who live in Maharashtra, India. While Tani has married Bhaurao and lives a comfortable life in a village, Kamli has married a male in Bombay, where she lives a poor lifestyle with her brother, Sreepu, and a school-going daughter. After the passing away of her husband, Kamli becomes very depressed and eventually passes away. Sreepu takes her daughter to live with Tani in the village. Shortly after their arrival, Sreepu returns home to Bombay, while an overjoyed Tani welcomes her niece. Her husband, Bhaurao, is not at all pleased with the new arrival. Tani gets her niece admitted in the village school - only girl in the entire school. Her niece's talents go unnoticed by a careless Teacher, Deshpande, who eventually insults Tani and as a result she gets her admission annulled, and gets her admitted to another school run by Jadhav. While this does bring some stability in her niece's life, Tani's life is anything but, as she knows that her husband is having a sexual relationship with her maid-servant, Tulsa. A confrontation does take place and Bhaurao more or less tells Tani that she should resign herself to her situation. The question remains, will Tani really resign herself to this situation, and if not, what will be the outcome for her young and easily impressionable niece?
Gypsy: [to audience] My mother, who got me into this business, always told me, "Make them beg for more and then don't give it to them!" But I'm not my mother!
Gypsy: Some men have called me an ecdysiast. Do you know what that means? An ecdysiast is one who, or that which, sheds it's skin. In vulgar parlance, a stripper. But I'm not a stripper. At these prices, I'm an ecdysiast!
Louise: You really could have been something, Mother.::Rose: If I could have been, I would have been. And that's show business.
Plot

When June marries and leaves, Rose turns her hope and attention to her elder, less obviously talented, daughter Louise. However, having her headlining as a stripper at Minsky's Burlesque is not what she initially has in mind.

Plot
Columbia's 50th serial (between "Blackhawk" and "The Lost Planet") and made during the production season, 1952-53, when Clayton Moore left "The Lone Ranger" television series and was replaced by John Hart for a year. Story has frontier trouble-shooter Jim Scott seeking to put an end to the bloodshed between whites and Indians on the Western frontier. He is aided by Tulsa, the boss of a wagon train, and by frontier settlers Frank Baker and his sister Ann. A band of Apaches headed by Porico, son of Geronimo, continually attack the settlers, their wagon trains and a new stage line. In vain Jim seeks a meeting with Geronimo. A band of white renegades, led by Ace Devlin and Rance Rankin, manage to worsen the situation. After scores of savage battles and hair-raising escapes (14 to be exact, as Chapter 15, "The Peace Treaty," had no need for a cliffhanger), Jim succeeds in killing or capturing the outlaws, and convinces Porico to arrange a peace-accomplishing mission with Geronimo.

Tulsa ( /ˈtʌlsə/) is the second-largest city in the state of Oklahoma and 46th-largest city in the United States. With a population of 391,906 as of the 2010 census, it is the principal municipality of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area, a region with 937,478 (2010) residents in the MSA and 988,454 (2010) in the CSA. Tulsa's CSA is projected to reach one million between 2010 and 2012. The city serves as the county seat of Tulsa County, the most densely populated county in Oklahoma, and extends into Osage, Rogers, and Wagoner counties.
Tulsa was first settled between 1828 and 1836 by the Lochapoka Band of Creek Native American tribe. In 1921, it was the site of the infamous Tulsa Race Riot, one of the largest and most destructive acts of racial violence in the history of the United States. For most of the 20th century, the city held the nickname "Oil Capital of the World" and played a major role as one of the most important hubs for the American oil industry. Tulsa, along with several other cities, claims to be the birthplace of U.S. Route 66 and is also known for its Western Swing music.
You taste of potato chips in the morning
Your face has the Marlon Brando club calling
And who would have thought that I'd owe it all to Tulsa?
And that fat guy with the green shirt that we both signed together
Once he hears the song, won't live it down forever
Your suit was the whitest thing since you-know-who
I fear that that savior I mentioned may be you
And who would have thought that I'd owe it all to Tulsa?
And that poor girl who waited in the rain for hours to meet me (not you, baby!)
Once she hears that song, won't live it down completely
And I owe it all to Tulsa, Oklahoma
This is just a reminder of the antique shop that I want to go back to and visit when it's open
In Tulsa, Oklahoma
when i left tulsa she was still an innocent lady
lord only knows why she loved a guy like you
she called me cryin and she said she was havin your baby
you turned your back on her and broke her heart in two
i swore id get you for what you're puttin me through
and the only reason i aint got you
she begged me not to says she loves you
chorus:
but dont let the sun set on you in tulsa
dont let the sun set on you in tulsa
if the sun goes down on you
if you're still here you're goin down too
dont let the sun set on you in tulsa
shes the only thing ive ever really cared for
no she dont deserve this kind of shame
she carries a burden around that
you know you are to blame for
and you just laughed and said
they aint gettin your name
i swore id get you for what you're puttin me through
and the only reason i aint got you
she begged me not to says she loves you
You always said you'd never leave me
Now you are gone and I'm to blame
Living in a hotel room by the airport
I hear you're seeing what's his name
(Chrous)
But those bright lights up in Tulsa
Don't shine here in Ft. Worth
Lying to myself won't do no good
That northern wind blows colder
And you're lying on his shoulder
Well I'm alone, I'm alone
She's in Tulsa
I try to sleep but I hear my heart break
I try to cry but there's no more tears
I can't believe you finally left me
When I left Tulsa
Jamie was an innocent young lady
God only knows why she gave herself
To a guy like you
She called me crying
And said she was
Gonna have your baby
But you just
Turned your back on her
Like all cowards do
And I swore I'd get you
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
If the sun goes down on you
And you're still here
You're going down too
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
Jamie's the only thing
I ever really cared for
And she don't deserve
This kind of shame
She's carrying a child
That you're to blame for
But you just laughed and said
Ain't no way he's gonna get your name
And I swore I'd get you
For what you're putting her through
And believe me, brother
The only reason I ain't got you
Jamie cried and begged me not to
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
If the sun goes down on you
And you're still here
You're going down too
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
Don't let the sun
Set on you in Tulsa
Don't let the sun
