Finally uploaded!!!!! So I put together this 50 min film months back, but unfortunately haven't been able to upload in one whole chunk, so it's split into 4 parts. This portion of the trip stars myself and Jenna Thornber, and an awesome Auzzie gal named Alicia whom we met before going into the jungle. This is our journey into the Amazon Basin to stay with the Juyinsta community. Jenna and I really had no prior travel experience before this, but we were determined to do something no one else had ever done before. We learned, saw, and did so much in a 2 week times span here. The indigenous culture was wild, and we learned that despite their extremely remote location (2 hour flight by Cesna into the heart of the jungle), they had still been heavily affected by modern society (see Part 2 for some interesting perspectives on that). From drinking Chica to teaching spanish, to playing soccer with jungle men, to bathing in the Pastaza River, Part 1 of the journey had our emotions and adrenaline running high. We also did some extreme trekking through the jungle with our guide Francisco, that was incredible but can primarily be seen in Part 2. I spent a fair bit of time compiling this video, so I hope you find it both entertaining and educational haha. WOO STAY BEAUTIFUL!
