A Guidebook for Dating In The 90s
Brian is a male given name of Irish and Breton origin, as well as a surname of Occitan origin. It is common in the English-speaking world. It is possible that the name is derived from an Old Celtic word meaning "high" or "noble". For example the element bre means "hill"; which could be transferred to mean "eminence" or "exalted one". The name is quite popular in Ireland, on account of Brian Boru, a 10th century king of Ireland. The name was also quite popular in East Anglia during the Middle Ages. This is because the name was introduced to England by Bretons following the Norman Conquest. Bretons also settled in Ireland along with the Normans in the 12th century, and 'their' name was mingled with the 'Irish' version. Also, in the north-west of England, the 'Irish' name was introduced by Scandinavian settlers from Ireland. Within the Gaelic speaking areas of Scotland, the name was at first only used by professional families of Irish origin. It was the fourth most popular male name in the United Kingdom in 1934, but a sharp decline followed over the remainder of the 20th century and by 1994 it had fallen out of the top 100.
Brian Griffin is a character from the animated television series Family Guy. An anthropomorphic dog, he is voiced by Seth MacFarlane and first appeared on television, along with the rest of the family, in a 15-minute short on December 20, 1998. Brian was created and designed by MacFarlane himself. MacFarlane was asked to pitch a pilot to the Fox Broadcasting Company based on The Life of Larry and Larry & Steve, two shorts made by MacFarlane (the second one at Hanna-Barbera for Cartoon Network's "What-A-Cartoon" project) which featured a middle-aged character named Larry and an intellectual dog, Steve. After the pilot was given the green light, the Griffin family appeared on the episode "Death Has a Shadow".
Brian is a member of the Griffin family. He primarily works in the series as a struggling writer attempting essays, books, novels, screenplays and newspaper articles. His appearance was a redesign of the protagonist Steve from MacFarlane's previous animated short films, The Life of Larry & Steve. He has been featured in much of the Family Guy merchandise, including toys, t-shirts, and video games, and has made crossover appearances in the other MacFarlane-produced shows, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show.
Brian Douglas Williams (born May 5, 1959) is the anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News, the evening news program of the NBC television network, a position he assumed in 2004. Williams was listed among Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2007, and in 2010, a prominent media observer dubbed him "the Walter Cronkite of the 21st century."
Williams was reared in a middle-class Irish Catholic home. His father, Gordon L. Williams, was an executive vice president of the National Retail Merchants Association, in New York. During childhood, his family moved from his birthplace, Ridgewood, New Jersey, to Elmira, New York. He lived in Elmira for ten years before moving to Middletown, New Jersey, when he was in junior high school.

Tremaine "Trey" Aldon Neverson (born November 28, 1984), better known by his stage name Trey Songz, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer and actor. His debut album, I Gotta Make It, was released in 2005, while his second album, Trey Day, was released in 2007. His third album, Ready, was released in 2009 while his fourth studio album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure, was released on September 14, 2010.
Songz was born Tremaine Aldon Neverson on November 28, 1984, in Petersburg, Virginia. Raised as a military brat, Songz did not have aspirations to have a musical career as a child due to his shyness, saying "Singing wasn't a reality for me, until other people started noticing I sounded good." He recognized his vocal abilities at the age of 14. Reluctant to sing, he began performing with encouragement by friends and family in high school. Record producer Troy Taylor discovered Songz during a talent show in 2000, which led him to signing a recording contract with Atlantic Records in 2002. After graduating from high school in 2002, Songz moved to New Jersey to begin recording his debut album, though recording didn't actually begin until 2003.
Brian McKnight (born June 5, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and R&B musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays eight instruments including piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet.. McKnight is perhaps most recognized for his strong falsetto range, and is widely regarded as one of the strongest talents in the adult urban contemporary R&B genre, although his recent efforts have received mixed reviews.
McKnight's work has earned him 16 Grammy Awards nominations, but currently holds the record for having won none.
McKnight was born in Buffalo, New York. His musical career began in childhood when he became a member of his church choir and a band leader for his high school, Sweet Home High School..
In 1987, McKnight's older brother, Claude McKnight III, and his band, Take 6, signed a record deal with Warner Brothers. This encouraged McKnight to shop his own demo tapes and by the age of 19, he'd signed his first recording deal with Mercury Records subsidiary, Wing Records. In 1992, Brian McKnight was released, and his self-titled debut peaked at fifty-eight in the Billboard 200 chart, which primarily featured the ballad (and top twenty single) "One Last Cry". It was followed by two more albums for Mercury, 1995's I Remember You and 1997's Anytime. Anytime, McKnight's final album with Mercury, sold over two million copies and was nominated for a Grammy. The video for "Anytime", directed by Darren Grant, was nominated for Best Male Video at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards.

And he ate some wine
Beans, beans, beans

All my life I've been runnin' scared
Feelin' shut out, no one cared
Not my mother, not my brother
Crazy beatings by my father
A-ooh a-ooh
Music's been my saving grace
Been my ticket to a better place
Brought me riches, brought me fame
Many people know my name
A-ooh A-ooh
My old friends who knew me when
Say "Brian you've come a long, long way"
Thank you, thank you wo wo-o-o-oh
My cousins say I ain't the same
Criticize I change my game
They're not happy 'cause I'm different
More creative, independent
A-ooh A-ooh
My old friends who knew me when
Say "Brian you've come a long, long way"
Thank you, thank you
Thank you, Thank you
I've decided to change and grow
Taste the new and release the old
Those who love me, they know I'm tryin'
Livin' brave instead of dyin'
A-ooh a-ooh
I've decided to change and grow
Taste the new and release the old
Those who love me, they know I'm tryin'
Livin' brave instead of dyin'
Where You go I go
What You say I say
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
Where You go I go
What You say I say
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
Cause Jesus only did what He saw You do
And He would only say what He heard You speak
And He would only move when He felt You lead
Following Your heart following Your spirit
So How could I expect to walk without You
When every move that Jesus made was in surrender
I will not begin to live without You
For You alone are worthy and You are always good
Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
So How could I expect to walk without You
When every move that Jesus made was in surrender
I will not begin to live without You
For You alone are worthy and You are always good
You are always good
La, la, la, la
Oh, the beauty of Your name will be seen upon my face, Oh, God
La la la la
Oh, the glory of Your name will be seen upon our face, Oh, God
Though the world sees and soon forgets
We will not forget who You are and what You've done for us
And what You've done for us
And Though the world sees and soon forgets
We will not forget what You've done for us
La la la la
La la la
Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
Where You go I go
What You say I say God
And what You pray I pray
And what You pray I pray
I will follow You yeah,
In this desert life, I will follow You
Whatever comes my way
Through every situation, I will follow You
To the unknown, to the unsaved

Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
When you find me then you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
Look into your heart - you will find
There's nothin' left to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all - I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way
Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
Yeah, I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - Yeah I'd die for you
You know it's true
I never thought that I would feel this way
All I ever wanted was for love to stay
Baby hold me tight
Look into my eyes
Love has died
I know that this ain't right
I came to say goodbye
For the very last time
I never thought that I would feel this way
I'm still looking for the words to say
All I ever wanted was for love to stay
Right here in my arms, but you know
You know I'm not gonna be that strong
You know I can't keep on holding on and on
To what's gone, and now
You've been here loving me
Unselfishly
Willingly
I'll keep the memory, inside
But baby I've come down to my goodbye
My heart is filled with pain
Don't wanna play this game anymore, no no
Honey can't you see
You gotta set me free
'Cause I don't love you like before, no no
You know I hate to say it but you got me wrong
We've been going through with this for far too long
I know you got to thinkin' that you might belong
Right here in my arms, but you know
This time I'm not hangin' on to hope
This time I'm not gonna be the ghost
That haunts you home
You've been here loving me
Unselfishly
Willingly
I'll keep the memory, inside
But baby I've come down to my goodbye
You've been here loving me
Unselfishly
Willingly
I'll keep the memory, inside
But baby I've come down to my goodbye
You've been here loving me
Unselfishly
Willingly
I'll keep the memory, inside
when you love someone - you'll do anything
you'll do all the crazy things that you can't explain
you'll shoot the moon - put out the sun
when you love someone
you'll deny the truth - believe a lie
there'll be times that you'll believe you could really fly
but your lonely nights - have just begun
when you love someone
when you love someone - you'll feel it deep inside
and nothin else can ever change your mind
when you want someone - when you need someone
when you love someone...
when you love someone - you sacrifice
giving everything you've got and you won't think twice
you risk it all - no matter what may come
when you love someone
you'll shoot the moon - put out the sun
