India (i/ˈɪndiə/), officially the Republic of India (Bhārat Gaṇarājya), is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second-most populous country with over 1.2 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west;China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north-east; and Burma and Bangladesh to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; in addition, India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia.
Home to the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation and a region of historic trade routes and vast empires, the Indian subcontinent was identified with its commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history. Four of the world's major religions—Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism—originated here, whereas Zoroastrianism, Christianity, and Islam arrived in the 1st millennium CE and also helped shape the region's diverse culture. Gradually annexed by and brought under the administration of the British East India Company from the early 18th century and administered directly by the United Kingdom from the mid-19th century, India became an independent nation in 1947 after a struggle for independence that was marked by non-violent resistance led by Mahatma Gandhi.
Soy Mujer (I'm a Woman), is the third album released by Chenoa (second of studio), following Chenoa and the unplugged album Mis Canciones Favoritas. It was recorded in Miami and Madrid from July to September 2003. That's a pop, rock, dance, and Latin album, all mixed with Arab and anglosaxon sounds. Like in her first work, the album contains two songs in English, "Why You Doin' Like That" and the bonus track "What My Heart Wants To Say" featuring Gareth Gates.
Released on October 20, 2003, it reached number one in the Spanish album chart, and sold more than 200,000 copies in that country, after 47 weeks in the Top 100.
The first single, "En Tu Cruz Me Clavaste" reached one more #1 hit for Chenoa in Spain, and was preceded by "Soy Lo Que Me Das" #2, "Siete Pétalos" #2, "Dame" #1 and finally only for promotion "Soy Mujer".
In May and June 2004 she started "Soy Mujer" promotional tour around Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Argentina. In December she visited Panama, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic.
India (born March 9, 1969), known also as "La Princesa de la Salsa" (engl. "The Princess of Salsa"), is a singer of salsa and House music. She has been nominated for both Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.
Caballero (birth name: Linda Viera Caballero) was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Her parents moved to New York City soon after her birth, and settled down in the South Bronx area of the city. They moved in with Caballero's grandmother, a woman who served as an important influence on Caballero's life. Her stage name "India" was given to Caballero by her grandmother because of her dark features and long straight black hair.
In 1985, when Caballero was 14 years old, she was a founding member of the Latin freestyle group TKA and was featured on the cover of TKA's second single, "Come Get My Love". She left shortly thereafter.
Caballero signed a record contract with Reprise/Warner Bros. Records, which planned on marketing her as the Latin version of Madonna (who recorded for sister label Sire Records). After recording the album Breaking Night, Caballero decided that she didn't want to take that route in her career.
Angela Carrasco (born January 23, 1945) is a Dominican Republic singer. Carrasco was one of a group of Latin American divas in the 1970s. This group also included Susana Giménez, Charytín, Iris Chacón, Ednita Nazario, Yolandita Monge and Rocío Dúrcal.
Carrasco moved to Spain from her native country. In Spain, she enjoyed wild success. She had her first big hit when she was chosen to play Mary Magdalen together with Camilo Sesto in the first Spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar in the mid-1970s. She also hit the airwaves strongly in the late 1970s, with songs such as "Cariño Mio" ("Love of Mine") and "Quererte a Ti" ("Loving You"). "Quererte a Ti" in particular gave her much exposure all over Latin America, in the United States and Europe. She later had a great comeback with albums such as Dama del Caribe and Candela, as well as Angela. Her single "Boca Rosa" peaked at number-one in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart in late 1988.
Angela continues to make music, and after her recent A Puro Dolor, she released a new album, Muy Personal, which includes some new songs in new styles as well as remakes of some of her most famous songs such as "No, no hay nadie mas" and "No se como amarle" from Jesus Christ Superstar. Her voice continues to be strong and her music fresh and unique. She has also taken several steps into theatre.

Soy mujer
soy de hiel, soy de miel
soy de piel,
debilidad y poder
fuego que quema.
Soy verdad
soy error, soy perdon,
soy rencor
y sensates y razon
frio que hiela
Sabia intuicion
imprudente pasion
soy asi.
Riesgo y temor
soy aliento y calor
para ti.
CORO:
Me amaras, te querre
te dare comprension
te odiare, te orare
sufrire con dolor
mentiras, finjire
y por amor
soy lo que soy
una mujer
Soy mujer
soy tu el
compasiva a la vez
contradiccion, claridad
y obscuridad
Soy volcan
soy un alma
en plena erupcion
calma con lucha interior
ave que vuela
Sabia intuicion
impridente pasion
soy asi
Riesgo y temor
soy aliento y calor
para ti.
CORO:
Y me reto a portarme mal
