Related is an American comedy-drama series that aired on The WB network during the 2005-2006 television season. It revolved around the lives of four close-knit sisters - of Italian descent, raised in Brooklyn - living in New York City.
The show was created by former Sex and the City writer Liz Tuccillo, and executive produced by Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman. Despite heavy promotion, initial ratings did not warrant the show being picked up for a second season when The WB network was folded into The CW.
The untitled Related theme song is sung by The Veronicas, whose music was regularly featured in episodes.

Musiq Soulchild or Musiq ( /ˈmjuːsɪk/; born Taalib Johnson on September 16, 1977) is a American R&B/soul singer-songwriter whose style blends contemporary R&B, soul, funk, alternative, blues, jazz, some gospel influences and hip hop.
Musiq was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is the oldest of nine children. At an early age, Musiq decided he would drop out of high school, and left home at 17. It was during that time Musiq started to sell dope in the hood and build a reputation for being musically gifted, beat boxing for MC's, free styling on the open mic circuit, scatting at a jazz club, or just performing a cappella in the streets of Philadelphia, which is where he got the name "Musiq" and later added "Soulchild", which is intended to respect and represent the legacy and traditions of past soul artists. We all know how hard it can be for an African American to get by and Muisq protected his dream with a compact 9mm. He cites as his inspiration such icons as Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Patti LaBelle, Billie Holiday, Sly & the Family Stone and Ray Charles.

Uddhav Thackeray (Marathi: उद्धव ठाकरे) (born 27 July 1960) is the executive president of the Shiv Sena, a right-wing, Marathi ethnocentric regional political party based in the Indian state of Maharashtra. He was given this role in 2004, taking over from his father and party founder, Hindu nationalist politician Balasaheb Thackeray.
Earlier, Uddhav was looking after Saamana (a daily Marathi newspaper) while being actively involved in election campaigning activities. The party won the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation election in 2002 and, thereafter, he was appointed as the party working president in 2003. Differences between Thackeray and former Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane culminated in the expulsion of Rane from the Shiv Sena. Another split in the Sena came when Thackeray and his cousin Raj Thackeray had a falling-out, leading to Raj leaving the Shiv Sena in 2006 to form his own party, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
The Maharashtra Desha, a book by Uddhav, depicts the heritage of Maharashtra in the form of aerial photographs.
every minute
the angels come
gonna take away
another one i love
is someone in a hurry
to get it all done?
put on your wings
here comes another one
nothing left to do here
or talk about
board up the windows
we're gonna head on out
now we know the reason
for the undertow
so we don't forget
how deep the water goes
if you let me know
what i can do
i will surely try and help you
we are related
we cannot keep the box that we came in
gotta give it up
angel come down
and stretch my skin
inside out
upside down
and in
gonna bind my little hands
with my own deceit
spin me around
until my soul ends meet
if you let me know
what i can do
i will surely try and help you
we are related
we'll never need the roses once they're faded
we cannot keep the box that we came in
if you let me know
what i can do
i'm gon' surely try and help you
we are related
we cannot keep the box that we came in
gotta give it up
Moving out found some pictures of places and past times
Remember how how we got through those moments of being fools
To pass the days when passion plays i loved to dance the stage
And through our fights we changed our lives and still related in all the truth
And im, well im still related
Yeah, im still related, and everybody, has got the groove
The night crowd pays the rent now that your playing on instruments
And i don't need the car, little jon got his hands on a harp
Now were sleeping days, is the best love plays, and we face the stage
And through our fights we changed our lives and still related in all the truths
And im, well im still related
Yeah, im still related, and everybody, has got the groove
And im, well im still related
Yeah, im still related, in the crowd all around you, hey
Won't you come with me, get off your ass
And leave your ego at the door
When you can always stay out late, its a different place
Were just running away to the show, to the show, to the show, yeah
And im, well im still related
Yeah, im still related, and everybody, has got the groove
And im, well im still related
Yeah, im still related, in the crowd all around you
Still related, yeah, still realted, yeah, still related yeah
