Plot
Based on the true story of Lindy Chamberlain. During a camping trip to Ayers Rock in outback Australia, she claimed that she witnessed a dingo stealing her baby daughter, Azaria, from the family tent. Azaria's body was never found. Police noted some apparent inconsistencies in her story, and she was charged with murder. The case attracted a lot of attention, turning an investigation into a media circus, with the public divided in their opinions.

A family torn apart. A public filled with outrage. A woman accused of murder.
Lindy Chamberlain: The dingo's got my baby!
Michael Chamberlain: I don't think a lot of people realise how important innocence is to innocent people.
Lindy Chamberlain: I'm told, "Don't talk like you normally talk. Watch how you hold your mouth. You look too sour and crabby. Don't get angry. Don't ask too many questions, or they think you're trying to be smart. And never, never, never laugh or you're an uncaring bitch." Well, I can't cry to order, and I won't be squashed into some dumb act for the public... or for you.
Lindy Chamberlain: Look, Mr. Barker. I wasn't there. I can only go on the evidence of my own eyes. We're talking about my baby daughter... not some object!
Lindy Chamberlain: [after being released from prison] Hello Kahlia. Hello darling. Don't you look lovely - such a pretty dress.::Kahlia, 4 years: [Shy] Mummy made it in gaol.::Michael Chamberlain: This is Mummy, darling. She's back.::Kahlia, 4 years: Real mummy?::Michael Chamberlain: Real mummy.
Lindy Chamberlain: I saw you this afternoon. Gone up the rock with a baby in a backpack. Carried a six-pack; I thought you were cracked!::Greg Lowe: It's bloody thirsty work climbin'.::Michael Chamberlain: You know Greg, the worst thing for a thirst is alcohol.::Greg Lowe: Aw, you gotta be jokin' mate, the worst thing for a thirst is sand!
Michael Chamberlain: No, you're right, it's exactly the same model as mine.::Les Smith: Have a look at what Webber found under the dash!
Lindy Chamberlain: Crikey, how's yer kidneys?
Cliff Murchison: Was that Michael's brother?::Lindy Chamberlain: Can you believe it, the rumours are in New Zealand already!::Cliff Murchison: A lie goes 'round the world while truth's still putting its boots on, sweetheart.

James Henry Muirhead AC KStJ QC (24 April 1925 – 20 July 1999) was an Administrator of the Northern Territory and a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory.
Muirhead was born in Adelaide and was educated at St Peter's College and the University of Adelaide. After completing high school he enlisted in the Second Australian Imperial Forces for service in the Second World War. From 1943 - 1946 he served as an infantryman and signaller with the 57/60 Battalion in Bougainville and later with the 32/52 Battalion in Rabaul, New Britain.
He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide and was admitted to the South Australian Bar in 1950. He practised as a barrister and solicitor in the firm of Thomson & Co until 1970 when he was appointed as a Judge of the Local and District Criminal Court of South Australia. He was appointed as a Queen's Counsel in 1967. Current Judge Dean Mildren was his Articled Clerk from 1966 - 1968.

The Used is an American rock band from Orem, Utah. Formed in 2001, the group signed to Reprise Records the same year and rose to fame in June 2002 after releasing their self-titled debut album. They followed up with their second album, In Love and Death, in September 2004 and their third album, Lies for the Liars, in May 2007. Shallow Believer, an EP that featured most of the band's B-sides, was released in February 2008. They spent 2008 working on their fourth studio album, Artwork, which was released on August 31, 2009. A fifth album, titled Vulnerable, was released in March 2012 through the independent label Hopeless Records. Albums by the used have achieved gold and platinum statuses in more than six countries worldwide. By 2008[update], they had sold over 3 million records worldwide.
The Used was founded in January 2001 with the recruitment of members Branden Steineckert, Quinn Allman and Jeph Howard. They had music already prepared, but did not have lyrics and required a vocalist. They held auditions at Howard's residence, but the band was not satisfied with any of the vocalists, describing the auditions as "terrible". Allman then asked Bert McCracken if he was interested in joining the band. McCracken's was impressed with the material the band had created. After being given music that the band had written, McCracken wrote the lyrics to what would become "Maybe Memories" and returned the next day to record a demo version of the song. McCracken was then officially confirmed as being the band's vocalist. Throughout all of this, the band members suffered from poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse, panhandling for change in order to buy food. The members decided upon the name "Used" after friends claimed they felt "used" when contact with the band members waned as they became more engrossed in the project.
