Plot
It's the last day of school, and Max wants to catch the eye of Roxanne, one of the more attractive girls in school. But how can you be cool when your dad's Goofy? Stage an impromptu concert at the final assembly, that's how! Or at least it sounded good until Principal Mazer found out. Goofy finds out about his son's antics (sort of), and decides a fishing trip, like his dad took him on, is the solution. Of course, he doesn't know that Max finally lands a date with Roxanne for a party thrown by the class valedictorian. Through the movie, Goofy tries to bring Max out of his shell, while Max resents being taken away, and lying to Roxanne about the trip (he tells her he & his dad will be appearing on TV at the PowerLine concert in LA). Will Max sink or swim? Will Goofy goof up his son's first shot at romance? Will Bigfoot step back? And what about those nuns?

Goofy: Well, I think the only thing for us to do now is to get you up on stage with this Powerline feller.::Max: How are we gonna do that?::Goofy: Now, you just leave that up to me.::Max: No, Dad, really. I think we should just forget it.::Goofy: Now, how come you always think I'm gonna lead you into some sort of calamity?::Max: Uh, d-d-d-dad?::Goofy: What's wrong now?::Max: Look!::[Max turns Goofy around; he sees that they are headed for a waterfall]::Goofy: Hyuk, a waterfall.::[alarmed]::Goofy: A waterfall?

Goofy: I was only trying to take my boy fishing, okay?::Max: I'm NOT your little boy anymore, Dad, I'm grown up. I've got my own life now!::Goofy: I know that! I just wanted to be part of it. You're my son, Max, no matter how big you get you'll always be my son.

Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at The Walt Disney Studio. Mickey is an anthropomorphic black mouse and typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves. He is one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in the world and is the mascot of The Walt Disney Company, the world's largest media conglomerate in terms of annual revenue.
Mickey debuted in November 1928 in the animated cartoon Steamboat Willie after initially appearing in a test screening earlier that year. He went on to appear in over 130 films including The Band Concert (1935), Brave Little Tailor (1938), and Fantasia (1940). Mickey appeared primarily in short films, but also in a few feature-length films. Nine of Mickey's cartoons were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, one of which, Lend a Paw, won the award in 1942. In 1978, Mickey became the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Beginning 1930, Mickey has also been featured extensively as a comic strip character. His self-titled newspaper strip, drawn primarily by Floyd Gottfredson, ran for 45 years. Mickey has also appeared in comic books and in television series such as The Mickey Mouse Club (1955–1996) and others. He also appears in other media such as video games as well as merchandising, and is a meetable character at the Disney parks.
Can you raise both your hands and clap 'em
Can you say, "sure, I'll always try"
Can you make friends among people and animals
Basically, everything is easy
Give it a try, you'll see I'm right
Cause if a mouse can be special, well so can you
And my name is Mickey Mouse
To the right is Minnie Mouse
And we own a little place in Disneyland, California
Let's have a party and be happy
Can we invite our closest friends
We can ask Donald Duck, Pluto, and all the gang
And my name is Mickey Mouse
To the right is Minnie Mouse
And we own a little place in Disneyland, California
Well, you should try to smile, dear
