Alexander Crawford Noyes (born May 21, 1986) is best known as the drummer for the American pop band Honor Society up until their split in 2013. Noyes was the former drummer for the popular pop band Jonas Brothers from May 2005 through most of 2006.
While drumming for the Jonas Brothers, he toured with the band, throughout 2005 and 2006. In this time frame, Jonas Brothers had gone on several tours, opening for various artists including, Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney, the Backstreet Boys, The Click Five, Aly & AJ, The Cheetah Girls, and The Veronicas.
After Noyes left the Jonas Brothers, he joined the band Honor Society. The band started off rehearsing in the Noyes' basement in New Jersey. The Gentlemen's Club, the band's YouTube series, was filmed in the Noyes house. In the Summer of 2009, Alex reunited with his former bandmates and went on tour with the Jonas Brothers.
Noyes was born in Wayne, New Jersey. He went to Eastern Christian High School with Kevin Jonas. He has a sister named Chelsea and has a dog named Willis. He attended Wagner College where he majored in international business with a minor in east Asian studies. He is now living in Los Angeles. He is also engaged to actress Molly Tarlov.
In the United States, an honor society is a rank organization that recognizes excellence among peers. Numerous societies recognize various fields and circumstances. The Order of the Arrow, for example, is the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. Chiefly, the term refers to scholastic honor societies, those that recognize students who excel academically or as leaders among their peers, often within a specific academic discipline.
Many honor societies invite students to become members based on the scholastic rank (the top x% of a class) and/or grade point averages of those students, either overall, or for classes taken within the discipline for which the honor society provides recognition. In cases where academic achievement would not be an appropriate criterion for membership, other standards are usually required for membership (such as completion of a particular ceremony or training program). It is also common for a scholastic honor society to add a criterion relating to the character of the student. Some honor societies are invitation only while others allow unsolicited applications. Finally, membership in an honor society might be considered exclusive, i.e., a member of such an organization cannot join other honor societies representing the same field.
Noyes is a surname. Notable people with the surname include:
The Salvation Army is a Christian denominational church and an international charitable organization structured in a quasi-military fashion. The organization reports a worldwide membership of over 1.5 million, consisting of soldiers, officers and adherents known as Salvationists. Its founders Catherine and William Booth sought to bring salvation to the poor, destitute and hungry by meeting both their "physical and spiritual needs". It is present in 127 countries, running charity shops, operating shelters for the homeless, and providing personal hygiene products and disaster relief and humanitarian aid to developing countries.
The theology of the Salvation Army is derived from that of Methodism although it is distinctive in institution and practice. The Army's doctrine is typical of evangelical Protestant denominations. The Army's purposes are "the advancement of the Christian religion… of education, the relief of poverty, and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole."

Honor Society's Alexander Noyes tells us the people in shelter's are just like you and me. People taking care of their families run out of money and hit poverty. It is important to find out their story and give back to the community. Do the most good and donate to the Salvation Army today.

By now, most architects have mastered the standard softwares for design conceptualization and representation. However, it is only recently that we have begun to critically rethink the techniques and conventions of representation that have defined the discipline over hundreds of years. This event will focus a discussion around emerging issues in architectural representation that include orthographic and post-orthographic projection, extrusion, massing, material and computational color, movement, automation, and questions about authorship and appropriation. Presentations by Jennifer Bonner MArch ’09, assistant professor of Architecture, and Zeina Koreitem MDes ’16, design critic in architecture; moderated by Michael Hays, Eliot Noyes Professor of Architectural Theory and interim chair of the...
John Richardson, who did much of his research at the Library of Congress, discussed his book, on Alexander Robey "Boss" Shepherd, the District of Columbia's powerful head of public works from 1871 until 1873 and D.C. governor in 1873 and 1874. Shepherd was a self-made man who accrued his fortune in the plumbing and gas-fitting trade, which inspired his fight to establish the city's physical infrastructure at a time when opposition forces were calling for the nation's capital to be moved to the Mississippi Valley, closer to the center of the country. Speaker Biography: John Richardson divided a 45-year career between the nonprofit sector and the U.S. government, focusing on Palestinian issues and the Muslim world. So I was able to hang out with Honor Society on Sept. 1/2009, when they had their FIRST HEADLINING SHOW in Toronto at the Opera House. Before their show, they had an interview at Z103.5, hung out with fans at the Eaton Centre in Downtown Toronto, and then had an acoustic performance for fans just outside of MuchMusic HQ. My friend Samantha Alexandra was unable to hang out with Honor Society, so I got her a shoutout video from her favourite member, aka her 'boyfriend" instead.
