April 27 is the 117th day of the year (118th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 248 days remaining until the end of the year.
Kristina Bernadette Cojuangco Aquino (born February 14, 1971), commonly known as Kris Aquino, is a Filipino television and movie personality who gained prominence from her talk shows, game shows, and numerous endorsements. Known as the Queen of All Media, and Philippines' Queen of Talk, she is the youngest daughter of former Philippine senator Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. and Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino, who served as the 11th President of the Philippines, and sister of Benigno S. Aquino, III, the current President of the Philippines.
Her first movie was Pido Dida, Sabay Tayo, which earned her a Box-office Queen title. Her 2004 films such as Feng Shui and So... Happy Together also gave her the Box-office Queen title again.[citation needed] In 2006, she regained the same Box Office title for her movie Sukob, which is the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time. She is also the Executive Editor of her own bi-monthly magazine called K! The Kris Aquino Magazine. In December 2009, Aquino showcased her own Home Collection called K Everyday. In partnership with ABS-CBN Licensing, K Everyday features cooking collection, kitchen collection, plastic collection, and stationery collection.
Marvic "Vic" Castelo Sotto (born April 28, 1954), is a Filipino actor, television show host, comedian, and film producer working for GMA Network and stars on noon-time variety show Eat Bulaga!. He won three consecutive titles for Philippine Box Office King (2004, 2005, and 2006).[citation needed]
Sotto was educated at Colegio de San Juan de Letran. His grandfather Vicente Sotto has Spanish ancestry.
He started his career as a folk singer and guitarist. He then joined his brothers Tito and Val in a gag show "OK Lang" under IBC TV Network. During these years, Sotto is also the lead vocalist of the disco funk band VST & Company. He produced such songs as "Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko", "Rock, Baby, Rock", and "Kung Sakali".[citation needed]
He joined his brothers Tito, Val in a gag show back in the early 1970s “OK Lang” under IBC 13. This is where he met another comedian Joey de Leon. de Leon invited the brothers to join him. The trio of Tito, Vic and Joey (TVJ) was created. They were cast in Iskul Bukol, Eat Bulaga!, TVJ: Television's Jesters, Rock and Roll 2000.[citation needed]
James Spann (born June 6, 1956 in Huntsville, Alabama) is a television meteorologist based in Birmingham, Alabama. He currently works for WBMA-LD/WCFT/WJSU, whose studios are located in Hoover, Alabama but which has transmitters in Tuscaloosa and Anniston (the station is known locally as "ABC 33/40", in reference to the Tuscaloosa and Annistion satellite stations). Spann has worked in the field since 1978.
Spann began his broadcast career in Tuscaloosa, his hometown, in 1973 at WTBC-AM radio. He later was the afternoon-drive announcer at Top 40 station WHHY-FM ("Y102") in Montgomery. His television career has included stints in Tuscaloosa (at 33/40 predecessor WCFT, the "33" in 33/40), Montgomery, Alabama (WSFA), Dallas (KDFW), at two other Birmingham stations, WBRC and WVTM. His 1996 departure from WBRC made local headlines when he left the station, which had just been purchased by News Corporation and was switching its network affiliation to News Corp.-owned Fox. Spann was unhappy with Fox's then-steady diet of reality shows and other programming that he considered to be offensive and in opposition to his evangelical Christian views. Spann ended up at the newly-formed ABC 33/40, which had merged WCFT with WJSU Channel 40 in Anniston and a new low-power repeater in Birmingham, and had taken over the ABC network affiliation that WBRC held before the switch.
I'm so glad to see you..delighted that you came
I swear you haven't changed
I called you to tell you, I'm coming home in seven days
In a word it's all arranged
I've been so lonely since I lost my mind, and my patience is wearin' thin
But I feel lucky when I think of you, and how I'll see your face again
EVERYTHING IS FINE-APRIL 29
TRY TO BE ON TIME-APRIL 29
I used to be fearful, of the voice inside my head
And all the foolish things it said
Oh, tell me you'll be there-It would be just like old times
April 29
I've been so lonely since I lost my mind, and my patience is wearin' thin
But I feel lucky when I think of you, and how I'll see your face again
(CHORUS)
Unlock the door and...throw away the key
The sun is shining-We're finally free
I've been so lonely since I lost my mind, and my patience is wearin' thin
But I feel lucky when I think of you, and how I'll see your face again
(CHORUS 2x)
I'm so glad to see you
Delighted that you came
I swear you haven't changed
I called you to tell you
I'm coming home in seven days
In a word it's all arranged
I've been so lonely since I lost my mind
And my patience is wearin' thin
But I feel lucky when I think of you
And now I'll see your face again
Everything is fine, April twenty-nine
Try to be on time, April twenty-nine
I used to be fearful
Of the voice inside my head
And all the foolish things it said
Oh, tell me you'll be there
It would be just like old times
April twenty-nine
I've been so lonely since I lost my mind
And my patience is wearin' thin
But I feel lucky when I think of you
And now I'll see your face again
Everything is fine, April twenty-nine
Try to be on time, April twenty-nine
(La la la la)
Unlock the door and throw away the key
(La la la la, la la la la)
The sun is shining, we're finally free
(La la la la, la la la la)
I've been so lonely since I lost my mind
And my patience is wearin' thin
But I feel lucky when I think of you
And now I'll see your face again
Everything is fine, April twenty-nine
I'll try to be on time, April twenty-nine
Everything is fine, April twenty-nine
I'II try to be on time, April twenty-nine
Try to be on time, April twenty-nine
Such a perfect time to echo softly
With blisters in my eyes, she will never try to stop me
(Lying on her side, next to the silent smell of autumn trees)
She will never know
No she will never look to me
Such a perfect time to echo softly
With blisters in my eyes, she will never try to stop me
(Lying on her side, next to the silent smell of autumn trees)
She will never know
She will never look to me
Stolen, this baby, screams "somebody save me!"
Stolen, this baby, screams "somebody save me!"
Stolen, this baby, screams "somebody save me!"
Stolen, this baby, screams "somebody save me!"
Such a perfect time to echo softly
With blisters in my eyes, she will never try to stop me
(Lying on her side, next to the silent smell of autumn trees)
She will never know
She will never look to me
Such a perfect time to echo softly
With blisters in my eyes, she will never try to stop me
(Lying on her side, next to the silent smell of autumn trees)
She will never know
She will never look to me
Well, I have a feeling that its said and done...
and I never thought that they would ruin all my fun
Well, I have a feeling that its said and done... (that its said and done.)
and I never thought that they would ruin all my fun (they would ruin all my fun)
She looks at me as if I have no tongue to speak...
But I know that in it's twilight she will see
She looks at me as if I have no tongue to speak...
But I know that in it's twilight she will see
All the rays will burn her eyes
All the rays will burn her eyes
All the rays will burn her eyes
All the rays
Such a perfect time to echo softly
With blisters in my eyes, she will never try to stop me
(Lying on her side, next to the silent smell of autumn trees)
She will never know
She will never look to me
Such a perfect time to echo softly
With blisters in my eyes, she will never try to stop me
(Lying on her side, next to the silent smell of autumn trees)
She will never know
