Plot
The fastest base stealer in the league squares off against a high-tech catcher. DDMG recreated the classic showdown between catcher and base-stealer and gave it a sci-fi twist in this Mets piece that is now playing at Citi Field in NY. Directed by DDMG's Marc Dominic Rienzo.

Kevin Wayne Durant (born September 29, 1988) is an American professional basketball forward with the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A 6'9" small forward, Durant was the consensus 2007 National College Player of the Year and the 2006–2007 Big 12 Player of the Year, amongst other awards. After a standout freshman season at the University of Texas, Durant opted to enter the NBA Draft, where he was selected second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics. There he went on to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award after his debut season. In 2007, Durant signed an endorsement contract with Nike. In the 2009–10 season Durant led the NBA in scoring and became the youngest player ever to win the NBA scoring title. He would later be named to the 2010 All NBA First Team.
Arnold Daniel Palmer (born September 10, 1929) is an American professional golfer, who is generally regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of men's professional golf. He has won numerous events on both the PGA Tour and Champions Tour, dating back to 1955. Nicknamed "The King," he is one of golf's most popular stars and its most important trailblazer, because he was the first superstar of the sport's television age, which began in the 1950s. He is part of "The Big Three" in golf, along with Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, who are widely credited with popularizing and commercialising the sport around the world.
Palmer won the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998, and in 1974 was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Palmer was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He learned golf from his father, Deacon Palmer, who was head professional and greenskeeper at Latrobe Country Club, allowing young Arnold to accompany his father as he maintained the course. He attended Wake Forest University, on a golf scholarship. He left upon the death of close friend Bud Worsham and enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, where he served for three years and had some time to continue to hone his golf skills. Palmer returned to college and competitive golf. His win in the 1954 U.S. Amateur made him decide to try the pro tour for a while, and he and new bride Winifred Walzer (whom he had met at a Pennsylvania tournament) traveled the circuit for 1955.

Players are the realest time to go
If you don't understand I'll let you know
Players are the people who just can't stand
Having one woman and just one man
Players are the ones who always see
Players are the ones that you always meet
Couldn't fall in love, even if you tried
Couldn't be devoted unless you lied
It's the players in the world to the west you play
Fresh young tenders every day
Breaking hearts every time your love is real
Players say love just ain't the deal
But the old and wise couldn't tell you why
Players just don't live happy lives
So all you fake wanna be's I hope you hear
Players always can't be players

Do you wanna be a player

It's Saturday night, it's time to have fun
Parties all going and players come
Sometimes in 3's sometimes in 2's
Fresh ball point pens, ready to use
It all makes sense, maybe it doesn't
Players just always use that lutten
Give it up everyday when the players play
Just don't act snoty when the players say
What's your name and number let me get my pen
Do you have any sisters too and that's to Kim
Cuz I rap to Kim, and that's the truth
And right now I gotta go rap for you
Baby, like players speak
Baby right there is a stone cold freak
Trying to be a player, but she don't hear
Players always can't be players

Players are the bored I hate to say
Nine out of ten don't know the play
Falling in, Falling out, does it ever last
Players are the world, they're just too fast
Your life is at best when you lose control
Taking love from the way you know you told
You could love so much, just give you time
Your nothing but a player don't say your mine
Cause the way I love, is not your type
Trying to get everything you can for life
Too bad you don't know what I think you should
Too much of a good thing ain't so good
Your nothing but a player, whatever you feel
You can't be loved cause your not real
But tricks in the city could solve right there
Players always can't be players

It's not only the men, it's the females too
Come out the shop with the fresh hair-dews
Working that bottom like it's on top
Looking so good you just don't stop
The guys can't help but to come your way
So your giving out your number 3 times a day
Your a player, baby, the real McCoy
Last week I saw you with my homeboy
Now you wanna tell me, I'm the one
And all I wanna do is just have some fun
Cause a girl like you, I know your kind
Think you look too good cuz your so fine
You'll be 30 years old still playing games
Giving out fake numbers and more fake names
But you'll find out, it may take 2 years
(Players)
It's the seven eighty-eight
DDT a, just like Jake The Snake
Actually, we don't participate
But if you do then I'ma see you at your Wake
(Players)
Don't let the drama fluctuate, I don't wanna

Now where would we be at, if we let you do that
We'd probably, be laying on our backs
(Players)

Your plan yeah, it was wack
I never would play myself out like that
But, um, I guess that's where you at

What I'ma do is like, uh

'Cause ya crew likes to bite us
Y'all stick to freestyling
'Cause y'all ain't no writers, trying to be some
(Players)
And can't play the game
See ya, sound the same
And ya claim to be something you ain't
And won't be without SV
(That's right)
Y'all need to be smacked
Open hands and beat by these
(Players)
I could give a fuck about this shit
You all up in my face over some ho shit
Just come out
You wanna be wit my click, you must know, really
How wild I get, when I walk in the place saying
(Players)
Yes, Yes
There's some people who really wanna see the S
Personally, I could give a fuck less
Check ya lady, she's a groupie ho
Opening her coochie hole, fuck that ho
(Players)

She left me strangely not lingering like before
Her face sad but sure - I stopped her at the door
Made some empty promises she'd heard too many times
I tried a little a little sweet talk to cover lovers' crimes
She said "How do you love when no one loves in return?
If love is a teacher why's it so hard to learn?
Tell me, is it better to marry than to burn?
Are we just players, players in the game?"
I remember kissin' fingers wrapped in her hair
In that rush of emotion did I ever really care?
And as I saw her silhouette fadin' down the hall
I begged for love's mercy talkin' to the wall
Sayin' how do you love when no one loves in return?
If love is a teacher why's it so hard to learn?
Tell me, is it better to marry than to burn?
Are we just players, players in the game?
When I was a child tryin' to prove I was a man
I came upon a woman who told me who I am
Sometimes you play the part so well you even fool yourself
I need a different kind of love from somewhere else
True love knows to love when no one loves in return
Love is the teacher and I got a lot to learn
Passion takes its prisoners, got to break before I burn
Can't be playin', playin' lovin' games
