Peever is a town in Roberts County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 168 at the 2010 census.

Peever was laid out in 1898, and named in honor of F. H. Peever, a settler.

2010 census

As of the census of 2010, there were 168 people, 56 households, and 47 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,400.0 inhabitants per square mile (540.5/km²). There were 63 housing units at an average density of 525.0 per square mile (202.7/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 28.6% White, 65.5% Native American, 0.6% from other races, and 5.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.4% of the population.

There were 56 households of which 55.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.1% were married couples living together, 33.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 16.1% were non-families. 12.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
