Plot
Sam Longwood, a frontiersman who has seen better days, spies the gold-mine partner, Jack Colby, who ran off with all the gold from a mine they were prospecting fifteen years earlier. He tells his other partners from that time, Joe Knox and Billy, and they confront Colby demanding not only the thousand dollars he took but an addition fifty-nine thousand for their trouble. After being thwarted in this attempt, they, and a would-be whore named Thursday, hatch a plan to kidnap Colby's wife, Nancy Sue, who is coincidently Sam's old flame, but find that Nancy Sue is not the sweet girl that Sam remembers.

They Weren't Forgotten By History...They Were Left Out On Purpose!
[Sam rebuffs the romantic advances of Thursday]::Thursday: Where are you going, Sam?::Sam Longwood: I'm going into town to get my money from Jack Colby and then get shed of the bunch of ya! I've been shot five times, knifed twice, bit on the ass by a pig, stomped on by a horse and sat on by a mule and once, in the winter of '91, a grizzly chewed off my big toe. And I've survived two avalanches, three blizzards, five Indian uprisings and seven Presidential elections, but I've never been owned by no woman nor dog...and I've come too far down the road to let it happen to me now.
Billy: Whatcha got there, Joe?::Joe Knox (Joseph Pendergast Knox): Whores, Billy! Whores!
Thursday: [about William Jennings Bryan] He's gonna give women the right to vote.::Billy: He might as well give 'em the right to pee standin' up; they still wouldn't know what to do with it.
A Holiday is a day designated as having special significance for which individuals, a government, or a religious group have deemed that observance is warranted. It is generally an official (more common) or unofficial observance of religious, national, or cultural significance, often accompanied by celebrations or festivities. A holiday does not necessarily exclude doing normal work: the relatively minor Jewish holiday of Chanukah has been described as a "working holiday" and those who celebrate a holiday such as Diwali may have to work a normal schedule in countries where it is not a public holiday.
The word holiday derived from the notion of "Holy Day", and gradually evolved to its current form.
The word holiday comes from the Old English word hāligdæg. The word originally referred only to special religious days. In modern use, it means any special day of rest or relaxation, as opposed to normal days away from work or school.
The usage of the word holiday varies in different parts of the English-speaking world.
Miami Horror are an Australian indietronica band from Melbourne, Victoria with a disco-house throwback style. Miami Horror can refer to its producer, Benjamin Plant, or its four-piece live incarnation.
Miami Horror take influence from dance-pop artists of the 1970s and 1980s such as Prince, E.L.O., New Order and Michael Jackson, as well as progressive rock acts such as Todd Rundgren, Supertramp and Pink Floyd, and combine it with modern production techniques.
In 2007 under the moniker Miami Horror, Plant started with a series of remixes, both bootleg and official that included Stardust's "Music Sounds Better with You" and Tegan and Sara's "Walking with a Ghost", along with contemporary Australian acts such as the Midnight Juggernauts and Grafton Primary.
Plant began his music career early on, producing music at home from a young age, often DJing at house parties and regular weekly Melbourne club nights such as Streetparty and Third Class. He since remixed Pnau, The Presets, Bloc Party, Datarock and The Dirty Secrets in 2008. Miami Horror has also collaborated with Melbourne electropop group Gameboy/Gamegirl in 2007 and produced the Golden Ghetto Sex EP which featured the single "Sweaty Wet/Dirty Damp", a one-off single that became a leftfield hit in the music blogosphere the same year.
Michel Polnareff, born in Nérac (Lot-et-Garonne) on 3 July 1944, is a French singer-songwriter who was very popular from the mid-1960s until the early 1980s. While his commercial success is considerably smaller nowadays, he is still active and critically respected.
Michel was born into an artistic family: his mother, Simone Lane, was a dancer and his father, Leib Polnareff or Léo Poll worked with Édith Piaf. He learned piano by age five and was a very good music student. He learned the guitar, and after his studies, military service, and a brief time in insurance, he began to play his guitar on the steps of the Sacré Cœur.
In 1965, Polnareff won the Disco Revue prize in Paris. This victory let him record a disc at Barclay, but as part of the counterculture he turned down this opportunity. It was Lucien Morisse, then director at Europe 1, who made him sign with AZ. His first disc, La Poupée qui fait non (1966), was an unexpected success. Its new musical style and Polnareff's atypical image, crossed borders. During this period, he played concerts in Brussels for one week sharing the bill with Jeff Beck.
Dylan Kwabena Mills (born 18 September 1984), better known by his stage name Dizzee Rascal, is a UK and US-based rapper, songwriter and record producer of Ghanaian and Nigerian descent. His music is a blend of garage, hip hop, grime, ragga, pop and electronic music, with eclectic samples and more exotic styles. Best known for his number-one hits "Dance wiv Me", "Bonkers", "Holiday", "Dirtee Disco" & "Shout", his debut album, Boy in da Corner, won him the 2003 Mercury Prize. Follow-up albums Showtime, Maths + English and Tongue n' Cheek have all been critically acclaimed and certified gold, the last going platinum for sales exceeding 300,000 units.
Mills' Nigerian father died when he was young, and he was raised in Bow, in the East End of London in a single-parent family by his Ghanaian mother Priscilla, about whom he says: "I had issues as a kid. I was violent and disruptive. The way my mum helped was by finding me a different school every time I got kicked out, always fighting to keep me in the school system" he attended St Pauls Way Community School.
You woke up fine, it's almost nine You hear the schoolbell, and you get in line The daily round, the rules that count it's every day the same
Biology and history and you grow bored with that geography We all get by in June, July those hazy, lazy days
Holidays, (well it's a holiday) time to play no more teachers to obey Holidays, come to stay Hello sunshine, (You walk for me, my lover, I'm singin') goodbye rain Hello sunshine, goodbye rain
But time flies by, in June, July And soon you'll hear the bell to get in line The daily round, the rules that count it's every day the same
Holidays, (well it's a holiday) time to play no more teachers to obey Holidays, (well it's a holiday) come to stay Hello sunshine, (You walk for me, my lover, I'm singin', sunshine) goodbye rain
Holidays, come to stay Hello sunshine, (You walk for me, my lover, I'm singin', sunshine) goodbye rain
she's the kind of girl who pays for herself
and the money don't come rolling in
been living here outside of fifteen years
say how do you do where does she begin
those lollipop eyes
no longer surprised
still willing to try
worried she'll get to be
as big as a house
her apartment is small
she's got to stay the size of a mouse
walking around
the old neighborhood
there were several wiseguys
she'd do over if she could
please no more lies
warm september skies
still willing to try
but the holidays
holidays are hardsun's so bright
she pulls the shade
puts a dinky dinner in
it's factory made
she bought the book
how to help yourself
climb up on the chair girl
and take it down from the shelf
cracks open a smile
ain't she got style
still willing to try
but the holidays
holidays are hard
Don't rememeber much these days, all I know is what i've been told, lateley everything seems to fall on deaf ears, didn't know you were gone, to live was too late,
and if it all? it all ain't my fault, I take the consiquence? for the holidays, give me one more shot, ??????????a way back to your heart, Don't remember much these days, only us, when you were just 19, lateley everything seems so fucked up, didn't know you were gone to live was too late [Chorus x2]
Now she's talking all about holidays
and when I'll be out her way.
She said, "I wanna show you the east coast, baby."
Now she's talking about politics,
and how I need to learn my shit.
And now everybody's here.
And now everybody's here.
Let's just stay.
I won't lie, won't lie in these southern states.
Been washing my mouth out for 20 days.
Thinkin' of leaving.
Would you ever come with me?
And I really do hate that place.
Because I think about her all my days.
So I gotta laugh it all off, laugh it off, baby.
She said, "Darling, just shake your face,
so we can be on our way."
Am I gonna [?]
Am I gonna [?]
I won't lie, won't lie in these southern states.
Been washing my mouth out for 40 days.
Thinkin' of leaving.
Would you ever come with me?
I won't lie here in these southern states.
And not on your porch in the pouring rain.
Been thinkin' of leaving.
Would you ever come with me?
Best make good on all your promises.
They are gonna be around longer than I ever would.
Whoa, whoa.
Yeah, all those promises.
They are gonna be around longer than I ever should.
So I won't lie here in these southern states.
Been washing my mouth out for 60 days.
Thinkin' of leaving.
Would you ever come with me?
I won't lie, won't lie in these southern states.
Been washing my mouth out for days and days.
Thinkin' of leaving.
Would you ever come with me?
I won't lie here in these southern states.
And not on your porch in the pouring rain.
Been thinkin' of leaving.
This always happens to me
Just when I feel happy
They go and turn on me again
The same thing every time
I go out on a line
Everyone else turns out fine
Holidays are all the same
Always have myself to blame
Don't want to feel this way again
When it's a day of days
I go into a craze
My head and body feel malaise
Holidays are all the same
Always have myself to blame
Stumble out of bed and go to work at half past seven
At night you fix some food and watch TV until eleven
And inbetween your coffeebreaks you try to earn a fortune
'Cause you are daddy's pride and joy
The travelagents start to advertise on new years day
Eat mustard in Dijon or take a swim in Pocketbay
Your boss is breathing down your neck you need to get away
And it will soon be holiday
With pockets full of cash
And friends with names like Jack and Nash
You book the cheapest trip you can
And then you're off to wonderland
And you get pissed on your way there
And make rude comments to a queer
But Jackie throws him off the boat
A french policeman makes a note
Your friends at work all envy you bacause you've seen the world
You've got some news from Athens and you claim you kissed a french girl
You tell them that you're half a man without all new impressions
You need your kicks like they need air
With pockets full of cash
And friends with names like Jack and Nash
You book the cheapest trip you can
And then you're off to wonderland
And you get stoned when you arrive
And Jackie doubts that you're alive
He digs a grave with his own hands
Its warmer inside, don't complain
your fathers coming on a jet plane
close to midnight, in a worn out suit and tie
up the driveway in swing and stride
he comes around, a weekend at most
a holiday dinner, fruitless toast
he comes around, one year at a time
singing the same song since last time
holidays
holidays
when the heart was young
and every song wasn't sung by you alone
the night got colder, but its warm inside
the dining room lights grew dim with the wine
after midnight of christmas eve
Holiday's I need to get
My mind clean...
Holiday's I want to go
To find a place and be
Or alone...
When I call your name
I just travel away with
The faster train I will go
To the place of peace and hope...
Holiday's, Holiday's
Holiday's I need...
Holiday's, Holiday's
I just need Holiday's...
Holiday's I need to get
My self clear...
Holiday's I know where
To go to the place of
Peace and hope...
When I see the sea I just
Start to feel...
All the love and hope that
I need she just travel me
Through my dream's...
Holiday's, Holiday's
Holiday's I need...
Holiday's, Holiday's
