Reenactment I've chosen to do of a scene based on the bizarre unproduced screenplay, Swirlee, which was a collaboration between James Lorinz (Street Trash; Frankenhooker) and Rocco Simonelli (The Substitute), about a mutant with an ice cream cone for a head who attempts to get his business back from the mob. In this scene, a lonely Mr. Swirlee invites a call girl up to his apartment, but doesn't count on her horrified reaction to his appearance. With apologizes to The Softee Channel, I have reuploaded the trailer for the rare 1989 short film by James Lorinz featuring a young then-unknown David Caruso as Tony, Softee's roommate and character actor Tony Darrow as Don Tofutti, Swirlee (Working Title - Mr. Softee: An American Tragedy) which tells the story of Mr. Softee, a former ice cream company mogul who just happens to be a human/ice cream mutation due to a drug related birth defect, fighting to regain his company from the clutches of the evil mob boss, Don Tofutti and his artificial ice cream mafia. I took the liberty of cleaning up the audio in removing the annoying loud hum that accompanied the original upload, the drawback is that it's much quieter now, but live with it. Frankenhooker is an American black comedy horror film released in 1990. Very loosely inspired by Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, the film was directed by Frank Henenlotter and stars James Lorinz as medical school drop-out Jeffrey Franken and former Penthouse Pet Patty Mullen as the title character (who wears a fatsuit in the beginning of the film). After his attractive fiancée is cut into pieces in a freak accident involving a lawnmower, aspiring mad scientist Jeffrey Franken is determined to put her back together again. He sets about reassembling his girlfriend using parts from a variety of New York prostitutes. However, his bizarre plan goes awry when his reanimated girlfriend no longer wants just him, but for money will take on anybody, and afterwards try to kill them.
