Howie Severino at a very young age already had his mind set on becoming a journalist. So when he was schooling, he was part of their school paper. He studied in Ateneo de Manila High School and graduated in 1979. He then went to Boston to pursue his studies at Tufts University in Medford, Massachussettes where he graduated magna cum laude in 1983 taking up Bachelor's Degree in History.
During his stay in Boston, he met Ninoy Aquino-- the person who inspired him to become a serious journalist and he credits to learning many things from. He returned to the Philippines and worked as a reporter in The Manila Chronicle. During the reign of Marcos', he founded an anti-Marcos group, Mandigma! in which he actively participated in from 1984 - 1986. In 1985, he was charged with sedition and spent eight days in prison in Fort Bonifacio at the Philippine Army's main camp. He was a teacher and an activist before becoming a full time journalist in 1988.
Markus Schulz is a German trance music DJ and producer who resides in Miami, Florida, United States. He is best known for his weekly radio show titled Global DJ Broadcast that airs on Digitally Imported radio, After Hours FM and other online stations. He is also the founder of the EDM label Coldharbour Recordings.
Schulz has released six mix compilations and three artist albums under his own name. He has also released productions and albums, Thoughts Become Things and Thoughts Become Things II, under the alias Dakota. Through his work with remixing tracks, he has had the opportunity to work with such artists as: Depeche Mode, Madonna, Everything but the Girl, Jewel, OceanLab, Gabriel & Dresden, Télépopmusik, Fat Boy Slim, Miro, Book of Love, Blue Amazon, and PQM. His remixes of "Intuition" and "Stand" by Jewel both hit #1 on the Billboard club chart.
When not in the studio working on new mixes, Schulz maintains an extensive international touring schedule. He originally held a seven-year residency at The Works in Phoenix, Arizona, where he developed his style. Since then, he has performed at clubs all over the world and has DJ'ed at some of the largest festivals and events, including: Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, Monster Massive, Together As One, Ultra Music Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Nature One, Dance Valley, Love Parade, Global Gathering, ETD Pop, Trance Energy 2010, Bang Music Festival, Future Music Festival, Bal en Blanc, at the Episodes 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, and 550 of A State of Trance and at Summafieldayze on the Gold Coast in Australia.
Gerald Celente (born November 29, 1946) is an American trend forecaster, publisher of the Trends Journal, business consultant and author who makes predictions about the global financial markets and other events of historical importance. Celente has described himself as a "political atheist" and "citizen of the world". He has appeared as a guest on television news shows such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, The Glenn Beck Show, NBC Nightly News, The Alex Jones Show and Russia Today.
Celente was born in The Bronx, New York City, New York. He had early political experience running a mayoral campaign in Yonkers, New York and served as executive assistant to the secretary of the New York State Senate, which Celente called the worst job he ever had. From 1973 to 1979 Celente traveled between Chicago and Washington D.C. as a government affairs specialist. In 1980 Celente founded The Trends Research Institute (at first called the Socio-Economic Research Institute of America), now located in Kingston, New York, publisher of the Trends Journal which forecasts and analyzes business, socioeconomic, political, and other trends.
