In fact, because of Rooney’s red card and the number of injuries we would be lucky with a draw but I’m not even sure that’s going to happen. Now I’m not bashing Man U I’m being realistic here. There are significant issues going into this game. Rooney is pushing back on Van Gaal. It’s too early in the season to have this many injuries and we’re relying on the U21 for our defensive line. It’s just not good. However, if I am completely wrong and I hope I am and Man Utd play a better game then ever before without Rooney that’s going to send a very strong message to Van Gaal.
