Chandi (Sanskrit: चण्डी, Caṇḍī) or Chandika (Caṇḍīka) is the supreme Goddess of Devi Mahatmya (Sanskrit: Devīmāhātmyam, देवीमाहात्म्यम्) also known as Chandi or Durga Sapthashati. Chandi is described as the Supreme reality who is a combination of Mahakali, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswati. Later in the Murti Rahasya she is described as Maha Lakshmi with eighteen arms (Ashtadasa Bhuja Mahalakshmi) bearing weapons.

Caṇḍī or Caṇḍīika is the name by which the Supreme Goddess is referred to in Devi Mahatmya. According to Coburn, "Caṇḍīika is "the violent and impetuous one". In the light of the primacy of this designation of the goddess, it is striking that the word Caṇḍīka has virtually no earlier history in Sanskrit. There are no instances of its occurrence in the Vedic literature we have surveyed. The epics are similarly barren: neither the Ramayana nor the Mahabharata give evidence of the epithet, although in one of the hymns inserted in the latter Caṇḍa and Caṇḍī are applied to the deity they praised."

Gippy Grewal (or Rupinder Grewal) is a Punjabi Singer and Actor.

He is a Jatt Sikh, born in village Koom Kalam, Ludhiana, Punjab on January 2, 1982. He was enrolled in a Hotel Management course prior to entering the Punjabi Music Industry.

He made is debut with the album "Chakk Lai" which went on to became an instant success and brought him into the limelight in the Punjabi Music Industry. He then went on to further his success with albums like "Nasha," "Phulkari," "Phulkari 2 Just Hits" and "Gangster." His next movie Carry On Jatta pairs him with critically acclaimed Bollywood actress Mahie Gill, it releases in July 2012. He then joins forces with Jazzy Bains who will be making his Punjabi film debut in Best of Luck opposite Miss India Universe 2008 Simran Mundi.

Pankaj Udhas is an Indian singer, credited^{[by whom?]} in the Indian music industry, along with other musicians like Jagjit Singh and Talat Aziz, with bringing the Ghazal style to the realm of popular music. Udhas rose to fame for singing in the 1986 film Naam, in which his song "Chitthi Aayee Hai" became an instant hit. Following that, he has also performed as a playback singer for numerous films. He has recorded many albums since then and tours the world as an accomplished ghazal singer. In 2006, Pankaj Udhas was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award.

His father's name is Keshubhai Udhas and mother's name is Jituben Udhas. His eldest brother Manhar Udhas achieved some success as a Hindi playback singer in Bollywood films. His second elder brother Nirmal Udhas is also a well-known Ghazal Singer and was the first of the three brothers to start singing in the family. He had studied in Sir BPTI Bhavanagar. His family moved to Mumbai and Pankaj attended St. Xavier's College in Mumbai.

Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju (born 20 January 1940) is a former popular Telugu film actor. He was popularly known as 'Rebel Star' for his rebellious acting style

Krishnam Raju starred in more than 183 Telugu films in his career and was a prominent actor of the 1970s and 1980s in Tollywood. He entered the films in 1966 with Chilaka Gorinka produced and directed by Kotayya Pratyagatma. He won 5 Filmfare Awards including Filmfare Lifetime achievement Award and 2 Nandi Awards .

After late 1990s he became active in politics. He joined Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected to 12th and 13th Lok Sabha from Kakinada and Narasapur constituencies. He served as a minister of state for external affairs in the Third Vajpayee Ministry from 1999 to 2004. On 24 March 2009 he has joined Praja Rajyam Party founded by southern megastar Chiranjeevi. In 2009 State assembly elections he contested for M.P. seat from Rajamundry constituency and had Murali Mohan as a major opponent who's contesting on behalf of Telugu Desam Party (TDP). While both were film actors, both of them lost election to incumbent MP, Undavalli Arun Kumar of Indian National Congress.

Nagendra Babu Konidala (Telugu: నాగేంద్ర బాబు)  pronunciation (help·info) (born 29 October 1961) is a Telugu film actor and producer. He acts mainly in supporting character roles and villain roles, though he has also played the hero in some films. He recently acted in 143, Anji, Shock, Sri Ramadasu, Chandamama and Orange. He has produced several films with his brothers Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan under Anjana Productions.

His debut film as a producer is Rudraveena and the film won National Award.
