The eurozone ( pronunciation (help·info)), officially called the euro area, is an economic and monetary union (EMU) of 17 European Union (EU) member states that have adopted the euro (€) as their common currency and sole legal tender. The eurozone currently consists of Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. Most other EU states are obliged to join once they meet the criteria to do so. No state has left and there are no provisions to do so or to be expelled.
Monetary policy of the zone is the responsibility of the European Central Bank (ECB) which is governed by a president and a board of the heads of national central banks. The principal task of the ECB is to keep inflation under control. Though there is no common representation, governance or fiscal policy for the currency union, some co-operation does take place through the Euro Group, which makes political decisions regarding the eurozone and the euro. The Euro Group is composed of the finance ministers of eurozone states, however in emergencies, national leaders also form the Euro Group.
Daniel Altman is an American born economist and writer. He is Director of Thought Leadership at Dalberg Global Development Advisors. He is also the founder and president of North Yard Economics, a not-for-profit consulting firm that provides high-quality economic analysis to governments and non-governmental organizations in developing countries. He writes commentary on economics (and occasionally on soccer) in English and Spanish. Altman teaches economics as an adjunct at the New York University Stern School of Business and serves as Chief Economist of Big Think.
Mr. Altman worked for many years as an economic journalist, most recently as the global economics columnist of the International Herald Tribune. Previously, he had been one of the youngest-ever members of the editorial board of The New York Times, under then-editor Howell Raines. He was also on the staff of The Economist. Outside of journalism, he served as an economic advisor to the British government in 2003 and 2004.
His fourth book, Outrageous Fortunes: The Twelve Surprising Trends That Will Reshape the Global Economy was published in January 2011 by Times Books. His previous books are Power in Numbers: UNITAID, Innovative Financing, and the Quest for Massive Good, co-authored with Philippe Douste-Blazy and published in 2010 by PublicAffairs; Neoconomy: George Bush's Revolutionary Gamble with America's Future, also published by PublicAffairs, in 2004; and Connected: 24 Hours in the Global Economy, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 2007. Both Outrageous Fortunes and Connected have been translated into many languages, including Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Scott B. Sumner is an economist and currently Professor of Economics at Bentley University. Sumner received a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago in 1985. His published research focuses on prediction markets and monetary policy. In the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, Sumner began authoring a blog where he vocally criticized the view that the United States economy was stuck in a liquidity trap. Sumner advocates that central banks such as the Federal Reserve create a futures market for the level of nominal gross domestic product (NGDP, or nominal income), and adjust monetary policy to achieve a nominal income target on the basis of information from the market. Monetary authorities generally choose to target other metrics, such as inflation, unemployment, the money supply or hybrids of these, and rely on information from the financial markets, indices of unemployment or inflation, etc. to make monetary policy. A school of economists known as market monetarism has coalesced around Sumner's views; The Daily Telegraph international business editor Ambrose Evans-Pritchard has referred to Sumner as the "eminence grise" of market monetarism. In 2012, the Chronicle of Higher Education referred to Sumner as "among the most influential" economist bloggers, along with Greg Mankiw of Harvard University and Paul Krugman of Princeton University.
Nigel Paul Farage ( /ˈfærɑːʒ/, FARR-ahzh; born 3 April 1964, Farnborough, Kent), is a British politician and is the Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), a position he also held from September 2006 to November 2009. He is a Member of the European Parliament for South East England and co-chairs the Eurosceptic Europe of Freedom and Democracy group.
Farage is a founding member of the UKIP, having left the Conservative Party in 1992 after they signed the Maastricht Treaty. Having unsuccessfully campaigned in European and Westminster parliamentary elections for UKIP since 1994, he gained a seat as an MEP for South East England in the 1999 European Parliament Election — the first year the regional list system was used — and was re-elected in 2004 and 2009. Farage describes himself as a libertarian and rejects the notion that he is a conservative.
In September 2006, Farage became the UKIP Leader and led the party through the 2009 European Parliament Election in which it received the second highest share of the popular vote, defeating Labour and the Liberal Democrats with over two million votes. However he stepped down in November 2009 to concentrate on contesting the Speaker John Bercow's seat of Buckingham in the 2010 general election.
brokeness brings forth unknown beauty; untouched the shells of the lost; while stubborn, selfish mankind still ready to be cast in costs; as the crown of all creation, a princeless bride confused and scattered but hiding the sickness inside
I feel empty, feel lifeless
isolated, like undressed
on the face of it I seem glad - superficial
but inside me, it's all dead
renew, make me pure, penetrate me
in you, there's my cure, sanctify me
wished to flee from here, wished to flee from fear - break me
renew, make me pure, penetrate me
in you, there's my cure, sanctify me
revive, take my life, and restore me
and hold, hold me close, close to you
want to be like, want to be like you
you're allmighty, and I'm your tool - next to nothing
cannot get it out of my mind
renew, make me pure, penetrate me
in you, there's my cure, sanctify me
revive, take my life, and restore me
and hold, hold me close, close to you
I want to see you - smash this wall
sin press me down - please strike back
kill all that kills me
kill all that kills you
renew, make me pure, penetrate me
in you, there's my cure, sanctify me
revive, take my life and restore me
and hold, hold me close, close to you
try to persuade
from the opposite
do make me betrayed
only for your benefit
make things difficult
all your words insult
introduce a ban
I go not back again
can't break me down, nothing - it's just the outside
can't break me down, nothing - it's on the outside
you can smile at me
can exile my lee
take all away from me
be my enemy
try to annoy me
tease and offend me
spread me with all dread
I won't get really dead
can't break me down, nothing - it's just the outside
can't break me down, nothing - it's on the outside
you can fear me
you can't tear me
you can thrill me
you can't kill me
you can ace me
can't erase me
you can take me
you can't break me
can't break me down, nothing - it's just the outside
can't break me down, nothing - it's on the outside
that's all
it's ok
but the same as every day
forced you
to hold on
tried to escape, now look I've won
I don't like to make you seem abused - anymore
make me free of it, no more being used
more, more of you and all, all of you and more, ready just for you
unarmed
faded out
there is no tension I start to doubt
told you
I will do
but I have just included you
I don't like to make you seem abused - anymore -
make me free of it, no more being used
more, more of you and all, all of you and more, ready just for you
is has changed but really nothing has changed
it's the same - every day the same
I didn't notice it - it came on the quiet
it's good that is is has become normal - but is it really?
it's not obvious anymore but mabye it doesn't need to be
it just belongs that way
I don't like to make you seem abused - anymore -
make me free of it, no more being used
more, more of you and all, all of you and more, ready just for you
yes I cry
unto the lord
raise my voice
as loud as I can
I pour out
I pour out my complaint
I show him my trouble when I feel ashamed
when my spirit is overwhelmed within me
then you know my path I'm like a refugee
in the way wherein I walk have they laid a snare for me
I look on my right hand there's no man who would know me
no man who would know me
oh lord help me
yes I cry
unto the lord
raise my voice
as loud as I can
(see psalm 142)
how long will you forget me
how long will you hide your face
how long shall I take counsel
having sorrow in my heart
how long shall my enemy
be exalted over me
hear me lord oh hear me god
hear me lord and light my eyes
how long will you forget me
how long will you hide your face
how long shall I take counsel im my soul
where are you oh god
tell me where you are oh lord
lord hear my song
keep me not away from you
how long shall my enemy
be exalted over me
hear me lord oh hear me god
hear me lord and light my eyes
how long will you forget me
how long will you hide your face
how long shall I take counsel im my soul
where are you oh god
tell me where you are oh lord
lord hear my song
keep me not away from you
how long will you forget me
how long will you hide your face from me
where are you oh god
tell me where you are oh lord
lord hear my song
keep me not away from you
(see psalm 13)

du hast keine wahl keine wahl keine andere wahl
no possibility
du hast keine wahl keine wahl keine andere wahl

(1. timotheusbrief, kapitel 2, vers 4)
Promises did not come true
have my doubts about it now
am I wrong or is it just a game for me
feelings and emotions are
not the aim I'm looking for
but I would not mind to get a bit for me
am I right? something is not like it should be
you've lost me, lost me, does not matter the act I play
you've left me, left me, you do it all in your own way
tried to fullfill everything
but it's hard and sobering
seeing that my efforts have not reached enough
when I speak to you I get
no responses no returns
feeling that I run but never come to you
am I right? something is not like it should be
you've lost me, lost me, does not matter the act I play
you've left me, left me, you do it all in your own way
something is not like it has to be
you run just with yourself but without me
something is not like it has to be
acting just with yourself but without me
you've lost me, lost me, does not matter the act I play
As you turn the page with your crimson finger tips, leaving traces of red.
A message typed across my redened flesh that reads forget me not.
Words carved with razor blades to expose this a ransom note to myself.
With my head hung low avoiding the sun.
I bleed. I try. I bleed again.
Words.. carved...with...razor...blades...to...expose...this...I bleed.
I try.
embraced this world for too long, i’m sick of chasing
winds of empty dreams. i’m running for shelter –
ignorance! – that doesn’t matter; i found a place to
stay. reaching out, for your hand - cause i know you
will never let me down - reaching out for your hand -
cause what’s this life for if it’s not for you? i have to cry out, for the lost ones in those burning dreams while
life’s decaying. they’re running for shelter – ignorance!
– i won’t stop shouting until to the end. - cause what’s
this life for if it’s not for you? for you; bled for me,
saved just me, washed me, helped me becoming
clean! - and i know you will never let me down!
Overgrown society
there is no place for you
bastard humanity
the rolling mass
Thousand notions
fallen thoughts
blinded believers
insane adherers
Everywhere famine
Trodden by poverty
between anguishes
merges the abyss
We eat each other
or they eat us
cannibal society
banishes the poverty
The skin splits
as the hungry teeth
deeply bit into
and mangle the bone
the recessing infield
abundantly gets everyone
Cannibal society
banishes the poverty
The raw meat is the life
frantically we’re searching for lasting meanings in life
since we made clear: “preserving, guiding God above,
we’re self reliant and headstrong!” i hate! we’re
severed from your plan - is this a time to tear or a time
to mend? – adventisement - You advertise the truth,
no need to look behind the line You drew, abundance
of life for me, but mankind can’t handle liberty.
freedom, compelling invention of instable force of
will - i don’t think so! it’s the requirement for love,
ability to decide. is this the time to gather stones? a
time to love or just a time to hate? – adventisement -
my God, please end this, Lord save us from ourselves!
- You advertise the truth, no need to look behind the
line You drew, abundance of life for me but mankind
can’t handle liberty.
time of decadence and time of despair, spaces
between us and voids filling her, turning into piles of
hatred and fear, she settled the score and now she is
here, facing Him: “take those pictures down, fill the
walls behind with living colors, drown them in light.
for i’m ready now, my heart’s broken now, my
shoulders are weary, my mind‘s numb!” hasting
towards her -, straight love opens hearts, people
called into life, fellowship in light; moving folks of
night, is what He yearns to do. with those cold walls
torn into pieces instead of painting them nice and
warm; He just loves to see you can handle liberty and
she understands love is really free: “got my fever down,
feet back on the ground, blind eyes open to see. this
grace’s larger than our life can be, standing tall on my
knees.” free – let’s shout to the world, this liberty is
life’s gift to the cold! free - we shout to the world:
“these bleeding hands are for you!
you are a dreamer - a kind of schemer
trying to reach me, but is this your duty?
spend the money which was saved for your vacation
but I ensure it gets no acceleration
your strategies won't work on me
don't be - the improver of your conscience
I'm not the object of your project
you wanna pretend but you show me no respect
you feel not my feeling you are trying but just in vain
you heal not my dealing you are trying but just in vain
you give me presents but in reality
they are for yourself and not for me
your word are lies, demoralize
they analize in a disguise
could you live without seeming successes?
Could you live without seeming progresses?
Do you understand who I am?
Do you understand what's a sham?
you feel not my feeling you are trying but just in vain
you heal not my dealing you are trying but just in vain
On that day the angels fell.
Broken wings and broken hearts.
Leave me here to soak this earth with tears.
Scream at the sky.
Raise my hands to my face and scream out songs of misery.
Fallin' stars and broken dreams.
I lost all on that day the angels fell.
Fallin' wings and broken hearts.
Leave me here to soak this earth with tears.
Scream at the sky.
I blame myself, but it's not my fault.
I like
wanna give you something
you gave
all for me
I can't
understand your thinking
it is weird
cannot take it in
you deserve not just a small piece of me
you deserve all that I am - the best thing that I can
wanna give you the best part of me, but the best part that I ever had is you
you did not
hesitate to come down
in this world
I'm ashamed
beaten
from the ones you came for
despised
took my place
you deserve not just a small piece of me
you deserve all that I am - the best thing that I can
wanna give you the best part of me, but the best part that I ever had is you
not gold
not diamonds
no stocks
no millions
not pearls
not treasures
no stars but I
give you the best thing of my life
Here it is a beating heart inside the same blood covered box.
Here is every word, every bleeding knife,
From your decieving hands.
Here is every word.
Written in blood.
Here it is a beating heart.
Forgive me for thinking you were real.
Forgive me for thinking this was real.
You fuckin' liar.
I hope your life is a living hell.
I hope that everytime you breath you suffer.
Kill yourself.
Here is every word.
Written in blood.
Bury me in a heart shaped casket and call it love.
Slit your wrist so we can bleed the same.
So our blood can stain the wood of this final farewell.
A final kiss with blood on our lips,
And a hope that this is over.
Slit your wrist so we can bleed.
Less perfect than death ... goodbye.
Slit your wrist so we can bleed.
Final farewell. Bury me ...
Bury me in a heart shaped casket and call it love ...
Call it what you will.
Bury me. bury me in a heart shaped casket.
Slit your wrist,
So we can bleed So our blood can stain this final farewell.
A final kiss with blood on our lips,
And a hope that this is over.
A final kiss with blood on our lips,
And a hope that this is over.
Slit your wrist ... so we can bleed.
Less perfect than death.
Goodbye. Goodbye.
Bury me. Bury me in a heart shaped casket ...
And call it love ...
And call it love.
rendered our truth, redefined paradise, we grab for
the stars, we’re running for the fence, we hold in
equilibrium, it’s too much of not enough, this is
mankind’s concept, our concept. truth is in the eyes of
the believer blinded by enlightenments “perfect”
dream. take me, help me see, take me through
another day! what will equal you? and what will
weigh out your grace? - nothing! - closer to the throne
but failing you again, cause i’m weak and poor, i
cannot hold your guide. they have seen the worst of
me. please, get one more time at me. you died for your
concept, your concept. people are perceiving life as
infinite, believing in an open state of mind. and to
embrace your sacrifice is life. what can weigh out
your forgiveness and all your grace? - you weigh our
life.
the space around us disappears it’s getting hard to
breathe, the clockwork machine creeps; a shade of
gray covers the ever-moving crowd of corpses. hate,
greed and fear, the cause. it drained your soul away
and stored it on a rack, so don’t you want to take it
back? and all the hopeless ones are crying out, don’t
mind, you’re definitely blind – with eyes shut and
arms open, feel the spray of the ocean; i can hear
myself breathing and i love to feel alive. i’m falling,
i’m free, in the wake of a dream. i’m proud of giving
up all my pride, for the promise of new life. beware
your dreams or swallow it all, rise or fall; the earth is
bigger than i am, but neither blue nor round, evolve a
new theory! i’m sure you’re still a part of the human
race, boy without a face! – with eyes shut and arms
open, feel the spray of the ocean. can you hear
yourself breathing? don’t you love to feel alive? go
falling, be free, in the wake of a dream.
idols are merely things of silver and gold and shaped
by human, unclean hands. these hands are on their
way to break the silence, to reject their solace, i hope it
ends. tremble from fear, world, at the threat of your
leaders, they lead with panic, they lead with fear. we
tremble with you, as the ones to be blamed for the one
with the passion, who died for our lives down here. -
and we are the worlds most hated; but dead to it,
complete - who are the real pushers and who are the
victims? what is guilt? who doesn’t care? already dead
to this world but still in distress, we’re struggling to
save them, to get them out of nowhere. - but we are
the worlds most hated.
the path
stifled all discussion, squeezed out all hope; we hate
pain that we gain with so called wisdom adjusted to
those promised, empty gifts. i need to come back by
grace; i can’t do this all alone! - a way out of the past
and the haze of loss, it’s a small path, a way through
the cross. just beware of mainstream and other
scenes; they use to sow the seeds of disturbing dreams.
controvert conclusions, a heart of glass, a splinterproof
life. free my life of this, creator of the heavens
and earth, cause i can’t do this all alone!
define the undefined, tolerate open wounds, let us
draw a front line and talk about the earthsick side!
and you’ll say: “we still don’t kill; consentience, on the bibles ground, but wait, tolerate: aborting unborn
doesn’t count!” surprise! i’m not into your lifestyle.
surprise! i see you as you fall away. evasive lies to ease the pain of selfish life, turning pricks of conscience
into pride, leave voids of feelings undefined. and
you’ll say: “where’s your respect? well, all adults know
how to act. pansy boys should have their fun, that’s
what we intend! many a road leads to rome and
there’s just one god, if fundamentalists stick to the
bible they kill!” evasive lies to ease the pain of selfish
life, turning pricks of consciences into pride, leave voids
of feelings undefined -i will respect His creation but i’ll
never accept man’s sin and the loss of worth; that’s the
difference: acceptance leads to death and the loss of worth,
respect honors life and makes it possible, respect just
lets relationships interact. surprise! i’m not into your
lifestyle!formerly “tolerance” meant having an opinion and
respecting human beings and their opinion. today,
tolerance means to have no opinion, to be convinced
of it and to label the opinion of others “intolerance”
She wore a halo of fire with wings wrapped tightly around my throat.
Her blood covered fingers traced my face.
And it's days like these that make me wish I wouldn't wake up.
And that I could tear down this blue sky.
I'd kill your happiness because I can't stand to watch you smile.
Pinned to the ground.
A final nail in the coffin.
i’m loaded down by a burden of guilt, comet-like,
refusing sun.
i’m just another corrupt child, despising
the holy one.
head is injured, heart is sick, i don’t want
to hurt again.
covered with bruises, welts and
wounds,
sick of it! which hand should i cut off?
just the left or the right? dark out there, fear the night!
better rip out both of my eyes.
the attraction of the sun, a defined orbit, perihelion. i was sick of being giddy, stumbling through, to perihelion.
don’t turn away too soon, i know how it feels.
i can understand why, cause i make the same mistakes.
i won’t dare to judge you, but He looks inside you.
i can see this smile right on your face but i know you’re sometimes crying.
He can feel your disease, but please don’t try to leave,
will pray for you now but i can’t look away!
the attraction of the sun will draw you close to
perihelion,
if you stumble you’ll be save, in defined
paths near perihelion.
The melting sky proves this nonexistance.
Your fairy tale lies.
But you're to blind to realize that your god's a lie.
Your god is a myth, and I refuse to bow down to these lies.
Fairy tales, blind to the truth.
You let a book of fiction lead your way.
The melting sky proves this nonexistance.
Your fairy tale lies.
But you're to blind to realize, there's no use in prayer.
When there is no savior.
And I refuse to believe...or give in to these lies.
And if your god does exist, let him strike me down.
I'm still standing.
I'm here
try to sing a song
a little song
just for you God
got not much
what I can say to you
got not much
that I can give you
yes I know
there is nothing else
nothing else
as just to stand here
one is true
yes I know for sure
the only fame
is just you God
my god, my god is a good god
my love raises up to you
help me to love you forever
my god, god is love
I'm here
try to sing a song
a little song
just for you God
got not much
what I can say to you
got not much
that I can give you
yes I know I love you God
my god, my god is a good god
my love raises up to you
help me to love you forever
my god, god is love
I'm just here to say I love you God
my god, my god is a good god
my love raises up to you
help me to love you forever
Look at the world and I'm getting sick
it's dramatic to see, shocked like electric
cause it's not a conflict, not just problem of ethic
can you hear the crying, the dying, the horrifying?
in the midst of this creation, of this deadborn civilisation
generations have longed for and now we've got the medication
it is small, it is invisible but the reason not to despair
from this nightmare that we all share
you are a looser, a looser but you'll win this game - turn out, turn out, turn out
your name
you are a looser, a looser but you'll win this game - turn out, turn out, turn out
your shame
it goes down but there's one thing I believe - you're gonna take me out of this
it goes down but there's one thing I believe
every day you get your sucking infusion
we never realized the confusion of this illusion
it's a new world that has unfurled and hurled me out of mine
it's a new world that you're gonna find behind the flatline
you are a looser, a looser but you'll win this game - turn out, turn out, turn out
your name
you are a looser, a looser but you'll win this game - turn out, turn out, turn out
your shame
it goes down but there's one thing I believe - you gonna take me out of this
Where are your dreams
you have yourself conformed
now you still waste
your time after all
not easy to
swim against the tide
too busy now
cannot do even more
it is a fight with your inside but you give way - it's like always before
it has you met made you forget that your first love - was like never before
forget the past
think no more about it
it's not your guilt
can do it alone
the pain still hurts
but the time will come
and heal your wounds
live now what you've wished
it is a fight with your inside but you give way - it's like always before
it has you met made you forget that your first love - was like never before
this is not what you wanted ... this is not what you want!
it is a fight with your inside but you give way - it's like always before
it has you met made you forget that your first love - was like never before
but after each new try it stayed cold inside
it is a fight with your inside but you give way - it's like always before
Hide, hide from you
tried, every day anew
don't, don't want you
zoned, you and me apart
can do everything
need no anything from you
lock myself with walls
give no response to calls
I never came to you
I never found right you
my mind is closed, my eyes too cold to see
you shake the door, my lies won't set me free
torn, torn inside
borne, borne this whole fight
can do everything
need no anything from you
lock myself with walls
give no response to calls
I never came to you
I never found right you
my mind is closed, my eyes too cold to see
you shake the door, my lies won't set me free
eyes are closed
take no aid
lies are posed
I do fade
my mind is closed my, eyes too cold to see
you shake the door my, lies won't set me free
eyes are closed
take no aid
I never will give up whatever it's taking
I never will give up believe in the faking
my mind is closed, my eyes too cold to see
you shake the door, my lies won't set me free
it is breaking my neck it is beating me down
if I'm gonna go out it will cause me to drown
I am falling from you but I think that I stand
I am crawling around but I think that I'm grand
my mind is closed, my eyes too cold to see
And heart strings weren't well connected.
And our veins weren't well exposed.
And the only is straight down.
Until you drop dead.
And the only is straight down.
Until you drop dead.
Weakened and diseased with your bleeding affection.
My only affection is that which makes me ...
Want to rip out your eyes, and your heart,
And watch you die.
Watch you die ... watch you ... die.
Clinched fists and a fiery hate.
Satisfaction is knowing your in pain...
Clinched fists and a fiery hate.
Satisfaction is knowing you're in pain ...
Knowing you're in pain.
Weakened and diseased with your bleeding affection.
My only affection is that which makes me ...
Want to rip out your eyes,
And your heart,
And watch you slowly die.
Engraved these words ...
Engraved these words.
This won't stop until your heart dies ...
Until your heart dies. Engraved ...
the day i tried to soak up all the light, erroneous; to
push my ego was a fight. the day i tried to soak up all
the light, erroneous; wanted to shine so fine and
bright - diamonds and graphite, both are carbonic;
reflect, shine or gulp down light. diamonds and
graphite, dynamic in it or some kind of ego-trip - so
what remains? dirt and a black, coaly briquette. so
what remains? a man without glare, stained and fat.
- diamonds and graphite, we’re all carbonic; reflect,
shine or gulp down light. - so what is gained? all
alone be my greatest fan. to reflect heaven, i’d rather
be a diamond then. diamonds and graphite, dynamic
in it, or some kind of ego-trip, alright?!
the power in our hands is like a blinding light to our
eyes, whenever mankind tries to lie, tries to invent
worthy life. what we created will just overshadow
what’s alive through the broken one, broken and
sacrificed, anchor and fountain of life. - inevitable
stream of a feeling; anyone who resists being born?
godsend gifts to reign over creation, but our tower
reaches into the sky. take care not to drown and break
your shackles and swim, cause we’re all floating
facedown. - and on the other hand we try to find
something that lasts; a stone-cold fever casts this
night, tainted dreams the haze of fight. now tear
down and destroy all the walls and towers that we
build up. fame is our intention to keep us from being
scattered, so destroy all the walls in front of us and
beware of everything that’s just feeding their lies;
cause our tower reaches into the sky - right at the
waterfalls we’re floating all facedown.
we’re pressed by every side with troubles but we’re not blind. we’re perplexed, but we’re not driven to
hopeless despair, but i can’t say i don’t care. want to be properly, honorable-use-property - vessels of honor, we need to be pure, cleaned and refilled with water, clean uninfected water - shining light in hearts like fragile jars; a life like broken glass needs the clearance
to wash down the dirt; your “use me!” will be heard. –
through suffering, as vessels we continue to share in
his death so that his life may so be seen in our bodies.
but mostly I’m the one who flees. - shining light in
hearts like fragile jars; a life like broken glass needs
the clearance to wash down the dirt.
Hundreds and hundreds of years and nothing learned
the image of us is an ironic commercial
fearing decreases of our share of the market
seeking diseases and compare it's the target
where is your spirit?
are you still in me?
proclaiming ourselves that we have got the basis
fighting has moved to individual faces
it is the scenting, the defending of competition
the ambition for us, it's the mission we carry
where is your spirit?
are you still in me?
we're get, we're get, we're getting closer to the edge of fall
ruining our body - ruining ourselves
the swords are forged for our justification
the doctrine we hold works for the discrimination
we are still breathing, no one sees that we're needing
a radical break, we have to awake
where is your spirit?
are you still in me?
we're get, we're get, we're getting closer to the edge of fall
ruining our body - ruining ourselves
where is your spirit?
it's not in me
where is your power?
it's not in me
where is your presence?
It's not in me
where is your spirit?
it's not in me
we're get, we're get, we're getting closer to the edge of fall
ruining our body - ruining ourselves
that's not our calling
that's not for what we called
I was just 17, life was coming down hard on me
Friends dying, peer pressure rising
I didn't know what would become of me
Life in high school, it didn't seem to mean shit to me at all
I got thrown out of my school
I thought I was bad, I thought I was cool
Back on the streets with my friends
Hanging out all day and night - but inside I know
I didn't feel it was right
One day I woke up, I thought about my country
I thought it would be a good way - make myself feel free
Got to be free
How can people be so stupid
Always looking at the negative things
Democracy means you got to be free
A strong America for you and me
Fuck the communists and the people who always put us down
Because of them, fighting for our country, it mean so much to me
Don't you know that they're liars
They'll oppress you 'til you die
My pride it stays right here
Land of the free, land of the brave
No other can come close with all out glory
From coast to coast
I know - all over the world
You'll find good and bad
They'll put us down
They say we're fucked
We're going to stand proud
Won't let your rules get us down
Talking shit about that way we act
You say we're Nazi's on the attack
Skinhead youth - fighting in the street
Skinhead youth - all as one
Skinhead youth - filled with pride
Skinhead youth - will never die
Don't tell me that we're wrong
The way we think, the way we live
United skins, that's our goal
All our pride, it shall stand tall
throughout this world
something's gone wrong
it makes me sick
it's gone on too long
it's everywhere i look
i hear it all day
i've seen the hatred
it's in front of my face
you're a racist - you're a racist
you better wise up soon
you're a racist - you're a racist
it will come back at - you!
i grew up on the streets of N.Y.C.
i've seen the world through the military
the racist feelings that people breed
from young to old it's world history
the youth have changed
and times are better
but we still have far to go
there's people out there
who will brainwash you
they say your color's better
be proud of who you are inside
that's what really matters
the racist feelings that you have
the anger you feel toward others
all your friends who follow you
will soon be 6 feet under
one day you'll look around and see what you have done
then you'lll be gray and old - your past will be a loaded gun
now there's still hope
you got to change
you must stop living those racist ways
not for me
or what i've said
but before you get judged
It's been a few years now - we're going strong
We've been through a lot of good and bad
Some gave up - they had no heart
For you and me - this world won't tear us apart
From the East Coast to the West Coast
Inside myself I can hear the screams
The style - all over
It may be different - but in our hearts - it's all the same
Don't forget the struggle
Don't forget the streets
Don't forget your roots
And don't sell out!
What the fuck has happened to you?
You think you're a rock star - you're trapped inside a cage
You're ego trip has brainwashed you - you forgot the past
Now your future won't last
It won't last
Street kids had your back right from the start
Played your music day and night
For what you stood for, they would even fight
Now your eyes have turned fire red to money green
They've turned fire red to money green (3x)
Never give in to any of their fuckin shit
From the East Coast to the West Coast
Inside myself I can hear the screams
The style all over
It may be different, but in our hearts it's all the same
I can hear the screams
BROTHER AND SISTERHOOD
Verse:
Haven't I seen you somewhere before?
Hanging out on the stage on or on the dance floor
Trying to be a part of what you see
Brother and Sisterhood - One family!
One Family, One Family!
Chorus 1:
Looking for some answers
In this life, for what I pay
In you hearts and in your minds
they'll drive you insane!
Verse:
Haven't I seen you somewhere before?
Hanging out on the stage on or on the dancefloor
Trying to be a part of what you see
Brother and Sisterhood - One family!
One Family, One Family!
Chorus 2:
Go to a show
Looking around
I see many kids
What do you see?
Just one truth: our reality!
Bridge:
Looking like a freak, you don't have to say a word
Man, everywhere you go, they're always looking down
You try to free your mind from society
You'll never be the same if you quit their game
Inside my soul, I'm not afraid
You'll never understand what's inside of me!
Day looks like night
Night looks like day
I got the same problems
Running through my head
Can't even remember
Who I really am
How did this all start?
Trying to escape - from who I really am
Deep inside - I feel myself - breaking up
So you thought I couldn't beat it
Doing that dope
Getting that high
Where the fuck is your brain
There's no hope left
Will-You-Ever-Ever-Ever-Come-Back
FACE UP TO IT
Can't find a reason for your actions
Can't make no sense of this at all
Can't make no actions toward your reason
So what - HEY - You got no brain
Find a pot - sterilize - invade your vein
Seconds later you feel the rush
It's found your - brain
Soon you know - everyone will see
That you've dug your own ditch
Pulling people down into it
Now you ain't worth shit
Find a spot - sterilize - invade your brain
Seconds later you feel the rush
It's found your - brain
Doing that dope
Getting that high
Where the fuck is your brain
There's no hope left
I look back to the past
The struggle, the streets
Memories of a time
In the back of my mind
Now, years later we're still having fun
Keeping it true
United as one
We won't forget
In our hearts, in our minds
It's still alive
Our music, our lyrics
The truth survives
No egos, no rock stars allowed in here
Check yourself
Are you for real?
Warzone
In your mind, in your dreams
In the real world
Warzone
Everyday you wake up
Roam the streets
Warzone
Must be strong
Believe in yourself
Warzone
And you will see
They lied to all of us
Never really cared about you
Step right on your grave
It's time that you
realize
They fucked us over again
The powers that be don't give a shit
Now I guess you know you're in a
Your prejudiced ways - are so fucked up
Your mind's so dense - look inside yourself
You've closed your mind
I can't get in
Look at color - not within
How many must die
In front of your eyes
Use your brain - help to stop
War Between Races
Gun to my head
Knife to your back
Kill everyone
Nowhere to run
I wonder how - it all started
Time is now to stop and think
You might be next, watch your back
You've got a choice - tie to act
War Between Races
Gun to my head
Knife to your back
Kill everyone
Nowhere to run
Your prejudiced ways - are so fucked up
Together we stand true and strong.
Young and old we all belong.
A way of life in our hearts.
Held together can't be pulled apart.
United Worldwide (x7)
In every country we don't believe.
Ain't no movement what it means.
Safely united in one human race.
Can't be divided if there's no hate.
United Worldwide (x7)
I've been trying to break the chains
Keep the edge on me
I'm winning the fight
But I know inside
Got to do what's right
Stay drug-free
There might be time
When I need your help
So if you see the sign
Throw me a line
Doesn't do no good to preach
Put yourself on a pedestal
So you're out of reach
Got to make a choice inside your heart
A way of life
That's how you start
Too many eliques, too many crews
What's the purpose for what you do
Have you hit rock
bottom?
Do you know the deal?
If you take the pleadge
The sound of
revolution
It's coming again from the streets
A lion's roar, a tribal beat
It's time for you to give a hand
And fight the battle to the promised land
The sound of
revolution
The youth are getting restless
But now there's many more
Living in the streets
Times are worse than before
Now you know it's time to make a move
If you do nothing, then you all lose
The sound of
revolution
The line's been drawn, the battle's clear
It's time for pride and no more fear
The revolution now is in your heart
And together we have
a part
The sound of
In the jungle mist
Going back many years
In a lost land
The beast stalked its prey
And where are your dreams now?
Are your souls locked away?
In the garden so many people trying to be
free
Your fate sealed in destiny
All our lives are filled with change
But the snake, master
of deception
Is within range
Trapped down in a
deep sleep
Out of sight, out of mind
The reaper doesn't
weep
The snake has you in this world
Trapped your heart on the earth
But there's more to this than meets the eye
It's in the word-
hard truth
The sword is ready
That's no lie
Revelation coming around the bend
Lucifer your evil's at
its end
Dragging down the poor and weak
Rich man's soul, it can't sleep
Time to deal with
your fate
All your greed, all
your hate
Everybody's looking at the sky
They don't believe
without seeing with
