Oh du fröhliche (Nachricht)! Die Melodycore Veteranen von Bad Religion wollen also dieses Jahr ein Weihnachtsalbum auf den Markt schmeißen. Es wird nun kein extra geschriebenes Stück, sondern viel mehr eine Sammlung an Musik die sich bei Bad Religion so über die Jahre angesammelt hat. Natürlich zum Thema Weihnachten und wie schön alles ist. Naja, vielleicht eher nicht, man kennt ja die Haltung der Band zur Religion und so. Schlechte Religion eben. Und weil es so schön ist, soll das Ding auch schon am 29. Oktober 2013 erhältlich sein. Drüben bei Punknews.org gibt es auch schon eine Tracklist:

Gerade drüber gestolpert und sofort kam Freude auf: die Melodycore Pioniere Good Riddance (Fatwreck), welche sich 2007 getrennt hatten, haben in einem Interview mit Alternative Press angekündigt, 2012 wieder Shows zusammen spielen zu wollen:

Santa Cruz, California punk legends GOOD RIDDANCE will be reuniting this year, Altpress.com can exclusively confirm. The band was originally together from 1986-2007, releasing seven full-lengths via Fat Wreck Chords.

Großartige News wenn ihr mich fragt, da GR mich schon einige Jahre begleiten und Ich sie einfach noch nicht sehen konnte. Jetzt dürfen Fans auf jeden Fall schonmal drauf hoffen, die Jungs dieses Jahr vielleicht irgendwo auf den Bühnen Europas beschauen zu können.
