http://assistservices.com/reviews/tamagotchi-friends Tamagotchi was introduced a few years ago and it became a sensation around the world. It seemed that everyone had the digital keychain pet. People then wondered if this very popular toy could get any better. Well, the new model of Tamagotchi is out in 2014, and it's called Tamagotchi Friends. It is built in the shape of an egg, complete with a dot matrix screen. There are also three buttons which are used to operate it. It wants to be much more than your e-friend, it wants to be your e-best friend. Like a normal pet, you must take care of it. You must feed it, bath it and even potty train it. The growing up process continues until your Tamagotchi Friend becomes a healthy adult.
The Tamagotchi Friends has the same look and feel of the original Tamagotchi units. Even the sound effects and room backgrounds are retained. However, there are many improvements. These units are not Wi-Fi enabled. Instead, NFC or near-field communication technology is utilized. Built-in sensors are used which react when two toys are bumped together. For example, owners can send virtual gifts and text messages from one Tamagotchi Friends toy to another, just by tapping them together. But that is not all, even the characters can be switched or interchanged with a simple bump.
Tamagotchi Friends toys are also larger than their predecessor. There are 36 characters to choose from, users will have more choices when picking their virtual pet and friend. After all, they will be caring for and nurturing it all the way from infancy to adulthood. When your Tamagotchi Friends toy is purchased, three of it's five games are unlocked. There are two other games, which you can unlock by collecting 30 jewelry items, which act as a currency in Tamagotchi Friends. The five games are Drop Catch, Select Get, Mimic, Flower Count, and Cake Catch.
