Alexander Joseph Stalock (born July 28, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League. He attended college at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he played college hockey for 3 years before starting his professional career.
On February 1, 2011, he made his NHL debut in relief of Antti Niemi. Playing 29 minutes and 47 seconds, Stalock allowed no goals on nine shots to record his first NHL win in a 5-3 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes. Shortly after his debut he was reassigned to the Sharks minor league affiliate. In a game against the Manchester Monarchs on February 4, he suffered a sliced nerve behind his knee after being stepped on by the skate of Manchester's Dwight King, sidelining him for the remainder of the 2010–11 season. Afterwards, he had surgery to repair the nerve and has since started rehabilitation, sidelining him from playing until February 2012.
Lars Fosgaard Eller (born May 8, 1989) is a Danish professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Montreal Canadiens organization of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round, 13th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
In the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, he was drafted 13th overall by the St. Louis Blues. He was the highest ever drafted Danish born and trained player in NHL history until friend and former teammate Mikkel Bødker was selected as number eight overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. (Danish-born Jan Popiel was drafted tenth overall in the 1964 NHL Amateur Draft but grew up in and became a citizen of Canada before making his pro debut.)
Eller spent part of the 2007–08 season with Borås in the HockeyAllsvenskan, on loan from Frölunda.
Eller moved to North America for the 2009–10 season. His preseason was spoiled by mononucleosis and as a result, he started the season in Peoria. He was called up by St. Louis and made his NHL debut on November 5, 2009 in a game against the Calgary Flames in which the Blues lost 2-1. He scored the only Blues goal, beating Miikka Kiprusoff off of a deflection and had three shots on goal in 9:42 minutes of ice time. Eller appeared in five NHL games before returning to Peoria Rivermen, finishing the season with seven games for the St-Louis Blues.
Logan Couture (born March 28, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Sharks ninth overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Although he was born in Guelph, Ontario, Couture spent most of his life growing up near the hamlet of Birr, near London, Ontario. He started playing minor hockey with the Lucan Irish (DD) of the OMHA's Southwestern Ontario League.
Couture led his Lucan Irish Novice team to the OMHA's Red Lobster Cup for a SW Ontario title in 1998 and an OMHA All-Ontario DD title in 1999. His Irish Atom team also won the OMHA Ontario DD title in 2001. Both of those teams also won the International Silver Stick 'C' championships. He then played three years with the 'AAA' London Junior Knights of the Minor Hockey Alliance League and was a teammate of Los Angeles Kings' defenseman Drew Doughty. After his Bantam year with the Jr. Knights, Couture signed with the Junior B St. Thomas Stars.
Jason John Maxwell Garrison (born November 13, 1984 in White Rock, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.
Undrafted, Garrison played collegiate hockey with the University of Minnesota Duluth of the WCHA before signing a two-year entry level contract with the Florida Panthers on April 2, 2008.
Garrison turned professional in the 2008–09 season, with AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, scoring 35 points and earning a solitary recall to Florida to make his NHL debut against the St. Louis Blues on October 25, 2008.
Jason split the season in 2009–10 between the Panthers and the Americans, scoring his first NHL goal in a 7-4 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on March 3, 2010.
On March 23, 2012, Garrison set a Panthers franchise record for most goals by a defenceman in a single season with his 16th goal of the season against the Edmonton Oilers.
Luke Sellars (born May 21, 1981) is a professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Jokipojat of the Mestis in Finland. He also played one game for the Atlanta Thrashers of the NHL.
