Trust and betrayal, love and lust, hope and fear, risk and failure, cutting edge music, fashion and lingo all culminate to create the true world of reality television, captured by the ever present cameras. Welcome to the REALITY behind reality TV!
The REALITY behind reality TV.
Ever since the dawn of man, history has been repeating itself.
More than just a game.
Hide & Seek was Never So Serious
One street-smart kid. One down-on-his-luck cop. One game where the rules keep changing.
They give you second thoughts about first aid.
Call them smooth, call them slick, just don't call them when you're sick!
Marshall: NOW, WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, MAN?::Daryl Cage: [grabs him by the neck] Hey, listen, I got ten keys of smack! It doesn't matter who the fuck I am! Who the fuck are you?
Savannah: Farley! You're drooling all over my Reeboks!
White is a color, the perception of which is evoked by light that stimulates all three types of color sensitive cone cells in the human eye in nearly equal amounts and with high brightness compared to the surroundings. A white visual stimulation will be void of hue and grayness.
White light can be generated in many ways. The sun is such a source, electric incandescence is another. Modern light sources are fluorescent lamps and light-emitting diodes. An object whose surface reflects back most of the light it receives and does not alter its color will appear white, unless it has very high specular reflection.
Since white is the extreme end of the visual spectrum (in terms of both hue and shade), and since white objects - such as clouds, snow and flowers - appear often in nature, it has frequent symbolism. Human culture has many references to white, often related to purity and cleanness, whilst the high contrast between white and black is often used to represent opposite extremes.
The word white continues Old English hwīt, ultimately from a Common Germanic *χwītaz also reflected in OHG (h)wîz, ON hvítr, Goth. ƕeits. The root is ultimately from Proto-Indo-European language *kwid-, surviving also in Sanskrit śveta "to be white or bright" and Slavonic světŭ "light". The Icelandic word for white, hvítur, is directly derived from the Old Norse form of the word hvítr. Common Germanic also had the word *blankaz ("white, bright, blinding"), borrowed into Late Latin as *blancus, which provided the source for Romance words for "white" (French blanc, Spanish blanco, Italian bianco, etc.). The root survives in English in the word black.

Ryan Lewis (born March 25, 1988) is an American music producer, musician, music video director, photographer, graphic designer, rapper and DJ currently based in Seattle. He is best known for his collaboration with American rapper Macklemore (Ben Haggerty) producing Macklemore & Ryan Lewis — The VS. EP (2009), The Heist (2012) and a handful of other singles. Since the beginning of their collaboration in late 2008, Ryan has produced, recorded, engineered and mixed all of the music, directed music videos ("Same Love", "Thrift Shop", "And We Danced", "Otherside (Remix)"), designed visuals (album art, web design, posters) and DJed the live show.
In a recent mini-documentary, Lewis recalled meeting Macklemore for the first time. "When I met him, it was a really different time. It was less than a year after [2005's] Language of My World had come out. So he had buzz. For me being a young kid, it was very exciting to link with him. The bulk of our original relationship was photo shoots. I became kind of his photographer."[1]

White
White
Shining
Shining brightly
White
Yeah, white
Shining
Shining bright
Snow is crystal, the fire is cold
I sit back, watch the sun turn gold
In the morning, love is healing
Warms the frost deep in my bones
And then your mother said
White
White
It's shining
Shining bright
White
White
Shining
Shining brightly
The hunter sits on a pure white stallion
A hawk in flight, the bow in his hand
A deer approaches at the edge of the forest
The arrow flies, blood on the snow
Said brother, said
White
Yeah, white
Shining

The forest awaits me, the keel awaits me
I reel back, watch the sun turn to gold
Earth in the mother
Said white
Sure crystal clear, yeah, virgin white
Wilderness, lost to us
Wilderness, we reach out
Wilderness, we must embrace you once more
Yeah...
White
Shining brightly
Snow is pure now
When the barbarians approach on the frontiers of a civilization,
It is a sign of a crisis in that civilization.
When the barbarians come, not with weapons of war, but
With songs and icons of peace.
It is a sign of the crisis in one of a spiritual nature.
That a spiritual nature.
We have forgotten our spiritual nature.
Cause we are wrapped up in too much shit all day, all night.

you think of white
somewhere outside
somehow connected to your brain
or about to knock on your door
eternity
is a policy
magnetism and mystery
wishful thinking and fantasy
and i hope that you're not
hoping for me
you think of sight

somehow transmitting from space
asking you to line up and take your place
infinity
is a reality
life jackets and sympathy
bullshit daydreams
i know you can't be knowing for me and i hope that you're not
hoping for me

I can't cry when it hurts me so
There's no light in my eyes
I can't leave when you take those pictures
Of me with my pale and sad face
Oh when will the light fill my eyes
Will your hands touch my cheek
Again
The empty room
White and unmarked,
though touched
With a sensible structure
Underneath the surface
Hiding in the corner of the eye
Or resting right outside the field of vision
No doors or windows
No entrances or exits
Only bright light
Forming a shining empire
Of electrical impulses
Never to leave the premises
Never to be caught
Like a ghost in daylight
operatin' on a crowded street
always in danger
somehow invisible for the heat
I don't wanna be white no more
I don't wanna be white
I don't wanna be white no more
I don't wanna be white
Workin' the subway
like a dog eatin' his own flees
workin' the hole
passin' by like a cool breeze
I don't wanna be white no more
I don't wanna be white
I don't wanna be white no more
I don't wanna be white
By the time he finds out
bout a Jones on his back
like a ball and chain
suckin' the blood from his neck
junksick stare
in his pale blue eyes
he could sing the blues
like a motherless child
I don't wanna be white no more
I don't wanna be white
I don't wanna be white no more
I don't wanna be white
Could this be Earth? Could this be light?
Does this mean everything, is going to be alright?
When I look out my window there's trees talking like
people
I've dreamt of storms, I've dreamt of sound
I've dreamt of gravity, keeping us around
I've slept in the darkness, it was lonely, and there was
silence
What is this love? I don't feel the same
Don't believe what this is, could be given a name
I woke, you were there, tracing planets on my forehead
But I forget 23 like I forget 17
And I forget my first love, like you forget a daydream
And what if all my wild friends, and the times I've had
with them
Are there oceans full of things you'll never say
Are there skylines of the cities you don't see
Is there music muted playing underneath
Is mathematics keeping you from thinking free
Do you see lights turn your shadows white
Don't let rain clouds cry at all of your parades
Let the other side of darkness kiss your face
Into the sea, into the sea.
Do you see lights turn your shadows white
Do you feel bright, turn your shadows white.
All the things I'll never say
His room
Is cold and bright
The surfaces are clear
Hard
Tight
And very very white
A silver stripe
A very modern man
In white
White
White
Swim into the abyss and the infinite
You’re the only decoration that I need
In whiteness we can lead our modern life
Oh I love it when you take me in the white
My hair
Is red and glows
Against the walls
Your eyes
Are blue bright
And shine into the light
The world is broke
There’s only you and I
In white
White
White
Swim into the abyss and the infinite
You’re the only decoration that I need
In whiteness we can lead our modern life
Oh I love it when you take me in the white
My hair
Is red and glows
Against the walls
Your eyes
Are blue and bright
And shine into the light
The world is broke
There’s only you and I
In white
White
White
Swim into the abyss and the infinite
You’re the only decoration that I need
In whiteness we can lead our modern life
And so may I be the next to know
Knowing the times before they are
Are they deep timeless wanderings and the mace of wrath
In these evenings
The blood seems to boil
Do I make the same conclusion as you
Do I make my soul clear of this need
Do I jump the gateless ways of winter
Do you ever drown the clean magic in white
I'm still the one I used to be
But the age of this fiery obsession has been too long
It's now colder than the freezing mind of you
Alive and glowing
Do I make the same conclusion as you
Do I make my soul clear of this need
Do I jump the gateless ways of winter
Do you ever drown the clean magic in white
Would you challenge the stairs that I seek
Do you complete the unsaid words
Let me live through myself
And heaven will know the taste of rain
Would you challenge the stairs that I seek
Do you complete the unsaid words
Let me live through myself
We find ourselves down a tower built with the desire to be higher...
Higher than what we used to be
As we look down on the FIRST NATIONS and turn back on truthfulness,
The line that defines our existence is vanishing in the air
And our nature remains the same, only monuments change
A fact that has come to be the illness of trees, rivers, animals, humanity
An incomplete bible suggesting that we should pledge allegiance to the empire´s flag
Now tell me how you do it
Now tell me why you are so blind
This ain´t a utopian society even though some pretend it is so
A colonizing culture that has spread capitalism among a righteous civilization
Now look what we´ve become
Wage slaves and a gun in one hand
Everyday we tolerate the police state that is being established by our own ignorance
It seems to me that everything that has been built so far is white
Everything they say is a pure pretence
And i know that behind this masquerate no one is free
Once again we´re hostages
Compelled to witness this painful disaster that makes us all numb
We´ve got to see what they try to hide
How could hell be any worse?
How does it feel to know that you have been using people for more that a hundred years?
Keep ignoring your origins
Don´t you understand that this is what we are?
A lousy poem that is not revised at all
We are incomplete, skin deep
You and me, we drink red, it's the color of the wine that distorts my head
You and me, we see blue, like the ocean or your eyes that I drown into
You and me go green
We give the love that we got when we make it, then we sleep through the morning
I remember back in the day, strumming on my ukelele
You would share your absinthe to get me to stay
Without you I'm just white, baby
I kinda thought tonight you'd save me
Your colors shine so bright lately
Let's try and make it right, come paint me now
You and me burn yellow
It's a curious magic spell, only pessimists believe in hell
Sorry but I have to chime in (I screwed it up again)
Love is a virtue and never a sin
Without you I'm just white, baby
I kinda thought tonight you'd save me
Your colors shine so brightly lately
Let's try and make it right, come paint me
Without you I'm just white, let's color outside the lines
Conformity just leads to a decline, believe me
How can your colors shine so bright?
They're blinding me in both of my eyes
A little something like a surprise for you, baby
Without you I'm just white, baby
I kinda thought tonight you'd save me
Your colors shine so brightly lately
Come over late.
You get choked up easy from all this harm
But without you I don't know,
if tomorrows gonna last.
You said that I made all your stars burn out
made them disappear from your sky
and I'm pulling backwards, I've been pushing to get by.
It's a lie
take the fall.
After all
who pays for your own mistakes
I'm on fire
she's a rose.
And I'm burning all her petals at once
Reason wash over me.
Hold my words.
In that silent state
..please. Are you listening?
We're so careful to be cunning.
So ignored to the reality that
this is not a desirable place.
Can you see where I was when this all fell down?
It's a lie
take the fall.
After all
who pays for your own mistakes
I'm on fire
she's a rose.
And I'm burning all her petals at once
This is a lie
Something that's false
after all who pays for all these mistakes
this night's cold
but we've got hope
and you can hold it quiet
Pale aversion in fatal alliance
Scream for deliverance
Fake your own reverence
Drifting in and out, I won't lie
Insecure my visions blind my
Sight, my means, my faith, my view
I hate myself for trusting you!
Find the door, egress this white world
Tie these chains and link what's, take what's
Mine, what's yours, you're mine, not yours
Above discoloured vomit pours
Justification of violence of worst kind
I wish I knew it when,
White did not mean the end
When transfixion occurs as the first state
White is all that I see
This is how she came to be
No contradiction in warfare and worship
Sing me a lullaby
Martin, she passed out
Fellas, she won’t put out
Ignorance wraps linen and lace
It’s her wedding day
Make-up heals
Hides the bruise on her face
From the other day
Day turns into night
Black turns into white
Her heart’s slowly sinking
The boy keeps on thinking
The best defense against a woman
Is another girl
Black turns into white
White turns into lies
Sweetheart, she said,
for once, just once, you could say that I look beautiful
Martin, she passed out
Fellas, she won’t put out
The answer is simple
Just say yes to the mess
And become Mrs. So and so…
Do you take this man to live an awful life?
Her decision was not mine
She taught us to hate him
But love him when all is well
Wrong turns into right
Right makes rage subside
Sweetheart, she said,
for once, just once, you could say that I look beautiful
Martin she passed out
Day turns into night
Black turns into white
In earnest she needs him
But still she concedes that
To bring down the man
You must first learn how to skin the boy
Do you take this man to live an awful life?
Yes turns into why
Why makes his fist fly
He really does love her
He pushes and shoves her
That’s more than what anyone wants when they take a vow
Day turns into night
Black turns into white
Sweetheart, she said,
for once, just once you could say that I look beautiful
Martin, she passed out
Martin, she passed out
(Duilley Blythe)
This time for breathing
Turns my vision white
And takes me back to that place
Where the air was a stimulus
And now its all the same
And it's not my fault
But a feeling is just a feeling
You know that place there
But over take it
It's getting hot
In here with all the tension floating in the air
You know that place there
But over take it
It's getting hot
In here with all the tension floating in the air
And it takes me back to that place
Where the air was all that I had
Too much too much
And nothing ever the same
But it's all that I got
But a feeling is just a feeling
You know that place there
But over take it
It's getting hot
In here with all the tension floating in the air
You know that place there
But over take it
It's getting hot
In here with all the tension floating in the air
What's the sauce is this feeling
Feel the tension what's this feeling what's this feeling
Bite my tensions
It's all I had
What's this feeling what's this feeling
You know that place there
But over take it
It's getting hot
In here with all the tension floating in the air
You know that place there
But over take it
It's getting hot
We had our things,
We'd never say,
Recieved our wages,
Gave them away,
Open books on the way,
You'd scream and I'd shout,
Can't shake this feeling,
Eternal timeout,
Chorus:
Dream right out loud,
Be on the attack,
Sit down on the curb,
Lay flat on your back,
Give up the guns,
Turn yourself in,
We were the only ones back then.
Plant a seed in the ground,
For those who don't know,
The ones up above,
Those left below,
What words we choose,
And why judgement comes,
The walls closing down,
There's nowhere to run.
