Melanie is a feminine given name derived from the Greek μελανία (melania), "blackness" and that from ÎĽÎλας (melas), meaning "dark". Borne in its Latin form by two saints: Melania the Elder and her granddaughter Melania the Younger, the name was introduced to England by the Normans in its French form Melanie. However the name only became common in English usage in the 1930s due to the popularity of Margaret Mitchell's 1936 novel Gone with the Wind and its 1939 film adaptation, as one of the novel's main characters was named Melanie Hamilton. The name's popularity increased until the 1970s since remaining constant. Melanie was the 80th most popular name for girls born in the United States in 2007 and, as MĂ©lanie, it was the 86th most popular name for girls born in France in 2004.

Even Worse is the fifth studio album by "Weird Al" Yankovic, released in 1988. The album was the fifth produced by former The McCoys guitarist Rick Derringer. Recorded between November 1987 and February 1988, this album helped to revitalize Yankovic's career after the critical and commercial disappointment of his previous album Polka Party! (1986).
The music on Even Worse is built around parodies and pastiches of pop and rock music of the mid-1980s. Half of the album is made up of parodies, featuring jabs at Michael Jackson, George Harrison, Tiffany, Los Lobos' version of the folk song "La Bamba", and Billy Idol. The other half of the album is original material, featuring many "style parodies", or musical imitations that come close to, but do not copy, existing artists. These style parodies include imitations of specific artists such as Oingo Boingo, Beastie Boys, and James Taylor. Even Worse has the distinction of being one of two albums by Yankovic lacking any polka renditions of pop songs or medleys, the other being his debut album "Weird Al" Yankovic (1983). This album's title and cover art are spoofs of Michael Jackson's 1987 album Bad.

As of 2015, IANA distinguishes the following groups of top-level domains:
Seven generic top-level domains were created early in the development of the Internet, and pre-date the creation of ICANN in 1998.
Gim (Korean pronunciation: [ɡiË?m]; Korean: 김), also spelled as kim, is the Korean word for edible seaweed in the genus Porphyra. It is similar to nori, a Japanese word for this seaweed and used in the production of sushi in Japan, while it is used for gimbap in Korea. Porphyra is also called laver in English.
The earliest mention of gim is recorded in the Samguk Yusa (hangul:ě‚Ľęµěś 사, hanja:三國é?şäş‹) a document created during the Goryeo era documenting the history of the Three Kingdoms Period of Korean history covering 57 BCE to 668. The Samguk Yusa contains passages that record gim having been used as part of the dowry for Shilla royalty. It is conjectured, however, that gim of this period was harvested from rocks and driftwood rather than being cultivated.
From the mid-Joseon period there are records of gim in 15th century documents Gyeongsangdo Jiri Ji(hangul:경ě??도지리지, hanja: 慶尙é?“ĺś°ç?†čŞŚ) and Sinjeung Dongguk Yeoji Seungnam (hangul:ě‹ ě¦ťëŹ™ęµě—¬ě§€ěŠąëžŚ, hanja:新增東國輿地勝覽). Gim is recorded as a regional delicacy.
