Plot
The film deals with the past, the memory and the nostalgia. Seen through the eyes of the protagonist, the plot is a short trip in his memories from the past and specifically in the most important moments that he experienced with the woman he was madly in love. Essentially, the story highlights the "portrait" of the main character, through intense snapshots of three past phases of his personal life (when he was a teenager, an adult and a middle-aged man),which acted as catalysts in his personality and determined his future actions and ultimately his whole life. At the age of 78, the events that he remembers constitute his most intense emotional moments and, therefore, those that his memory has chosen, set apart and retained. Thus, he strongly recalls these both positive and negative reminiscences that indelibly marked his life. It is widely accepted that objects, photographs and scents from the past function as the main vehicles for the activation of memory and nostalgic emotions. In the case of the film, two old tickets, a portrait and a musical melody, become the occasions for such activation. A nostalgic life assessment is made when the end approaches. Time is compressed to specific memories and shows life as a puzzle of highlighted events, which emotionally affect the human being, and have a deep impact in its present actions.

Xenophon (Ancient Greek: Ξενοφῶν, Xenophōn; c. 430 – 354 BC), son of Gryllus, of the deme Erchia of Athens, also known as Xenophon of Athens, was a Greek historian, soldier, mercenary, philosopher and a contemporary and admirer of Socrates. He is known for his writings on the history of his own times, the 4th century BC, preserving the sayings of Socrates, and descriptions of life in ancient Greece and the Persian Empire.
Xenophon's birth date is uncertain, but most scholars agree that he was born around 431 BC near the city of Athens. Xenophon was born into the ranks of the upper classes, thus granting him access to certain privileges of the aristocracy of ancient Attica. While a young man, Xenophon participated in the expedition led by Cyrus the Younger against his older brother, king Artaxerxes II of Persia, in 401 BC. Xenophon writes that he had asked the veteran Socrates for advice on whether to go with Cyrus, and that Socrates referred him to the divinely inspired Delphic oracle. Xenophon's query to the oracle, however, was not whether or not to accept Cyrus' invitation, but "to which of the gods he must pray and do sacrifice, so that he might best accomplish his intended journey and return in safety, with good fortune". The oracle answered his question and told him to which gods to pray and sacrifice. When Xenophon returned to Athens and told Socrates of the oracle's advice, Socrates chastised him for asking so disingenuous a question.
Billy's voice: We used to be a new wave band. But somehow along the way we turned into...a rock band. And I'm not quite sure how it happened except for the fact that maybe we were away from everything that was going on, and the world allowed us the time to find out what we really wanted to do.
I always wanted to be in a rock band, but I guess maybe at the time that we started the band, I was kind of afraid to play rock music because it wasn't very much in vogue
Teu olhar agudo me espreita
Em algum canto do Planeta
Quem sabe em Genebra
Isso tudo se concerta
Quem sabe em Singapura
Seja descoberta a cura
Quem sabe Paquistão
O antídoto do não
Quem sabe algum dia
Numa rua da Bahia
Tudo tenha solução
Tua antena é quem me chama
Em algum ponto desta cama
Quem sabe desta vez
Eu sintonize o teu canal
Quem sabe teu veneno
Já não mais me faça mal
Quem dera eu transformasse
Solidão em carnaval
Quem sabe algum dia
Numa praça da Bahia
Nada mais esteja mal
Teu olhar agudo me espreita
