Our House is located near Olney and Gaithersburg but the youth we take in are from the entire DC Metro area. Our House has been serving these disadvantaged youth for 20 years. Baltimore native and Hollywood multi-award winning Actor, Writer Charles Dutton lived a life of juvenile crime and served time in every penal institute in Maryland as an adult into his 20's. He successfully turned his life around to become a Hollywood success. He is supporting Our House as he does not want to see our youth take the path his early life did. Some of the young men who arrive at Our House, come from the social welfare system and the juvenile justice system, some have no families, or none that care, and some are being given one more chance to get their lives on track before they end up incarcerated or their lives end way too soon. Some just need direction and to know they are loved and someone cares. The youth are provided a home at Our House for a year to 18 months, where they are taught carpentry, and the construction trade during the day, and work toward their GED at night on the premises. They also run a certified organic garden, do bee hiving and pottery and are given life skills. Every Saturday they do community service and learn the importance of "giving back". Our House was awarded the Whitehouse Thomas Jefferson Award for their more than 20,0000 hours of community service to communities. The goal at Our House is to have the young men become positive, tax contributing citizens in their communities. In 2000 Oprah heard about them and invited the Founder/Director, Richard "Benny" Bienvenue on her show. She then helped him buy 140 acre farm near Olney which allowed him to expand and increase his enrollment from 8 to 16 youth. The young men used the carpentry skills they were taught to convert an old chicken coop and horse barn into a dorm and classroom. They still are living and learning in those same buildings today. We have a campaign to help replace those buildings and not only build a new dorm but also to allow us to expand so we can increase our enrollment, meet the demands of our waiting list and stop turning needy kids away. Sacha Baron Cohen - Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award - pushes woman in wheelchair off stage at awards
Sacha Baron Cohen on top form once again as he 'accidentally' knocks Grace Cullington, an elderly lady, supposed last known surviving actress to work with the late, great Charlie Chaplin, (or 'actor' to which she is referred in this clip), at the BAFTA LA Jaguar Britannia Awards on Sunday 10th November 2013. The numerous versions of this clip on Youtube ask whether this is a prank or for real, but as this full length clip shows, is just the Ali G and Borat comedian in his top form.- published: 12 Nov 2013

Tribute to Paul Walker
Paul Walker Biography:
Born in California in 1973, Paul Walker made his big-screen debut in the 1986 horror spoof Monster in Your Closet. After appearing in several television shows in the 1990s, including Charles in Charge, Who's the Boss? and The Young and the Restless, Walker gained attention with a role in the 1999 film Varsity Blues, and his TV days were officially behind him. After working in teen movies such as She's All That and The Skulls, Walker got his breakthrough role in 2001 with The Fast and the Furious, which would become his star vehicle and keep him busy through four sequels and a short prequel. The Fast and the Furious franchise established Walker as an action-film mainstay, and he went on to appear in several films in the genre, including Takers, Hours and Vehicle 19. Walker died in a car accident on November 30, 2013, at age 40.

Diesel:U:Music - Rich Fulcher and Matt Berry (part 2 of 2)
British TV comedian Rich Fulcher interviews British TV comedian Matt Berry about his career in music and TV. Here's a little bit more about the writers/musicians/actors:
Rich Fulcher is the great great, great grandson of Jethro Fulcher, famous gambler and sports instructor for the Royal Court of King George. In 1776, Fulcher was banished from England for failing to pay his cribbage debts and headed for America to spread badminton throughout the New World. Fulcher died three years later when he was shot in a duel after exposing himself to General Lafayette's nephew.
In 1804, Jethro's son, a tracker named Bruno, was instrumental in aiding Lewis and Clark during their historic expedition by making love to a terrifying bear who raided the camp. Lewis and Clark escaped but Bruno was presumed dead, until a hairy offspring named Garson appeared in the vicinity twenty years later, claiming to be Bruno's son.
Garson Fulcher became known by locals as Grizzly the Bear-Faced Human, and years later was discovered by P.T. Barnum, who toured Garson around the world to astounded audiences everywhere. He was later put to sleep after eating Tom Thumb. Garson was survived by his wife, Beardy Bernice and son Clayton Fulcher, who served as a Major in the Confederate Army under General "Big Balls" Johnston.
After the Civil War, Major Fulcher eeked out a living in New Orleans as a curator for the Big Balls Wax Museum and Fish Emporium. He sired six children through various prostitutes within the Gulf of Mexico. The sixth child, Francis, became the shining paragon of the Fulcher clan, by graduating summa cum laude from the Tulane Medical School and becoming a medical doctor specializing in rare venereal diseases.
In 1921, whilst lecturing in London on "Your Father is not Insane, He Just has Syphilis", Dr. Francis frequented the Ten Bells pub in London's east end, where he encountered a ruffian named Ken Wormwood. Wormwood, hallucinating from absinthe, killed the doctor over an argument about wooden tablets.
Left fatherless, Francis's son Wilbur became a petty criminal and joined the Army Air Corps in World War II, but was court-martialed six months later when he used one of the B-47s as a flying brothel. He spent his remaining years in Georgia,, where he fathered 112 children well into his nineties. He cast most of his family in the '70s film Deliverance.
Richard (aka Rich), the 85th child, grew up under the belief that most of his brothers and sisters were family friends. He became emotionally distraught when he found out that many of his former girlfriends were actually his sisters and left Georgia for Washington, D.C.
Trying to erase his sordid past, Rich joined the Secret Service but was soon banished from the organization after introducing Bill Clinton to Monica Lewinsky and actually told her that "I won't watch if you want to give him a B.J." Destitute and homeless, Rich was ushered out of the country during the impeachment hearings, and secreted to London.
Whilst drinking in the Ten Bells pub in Spitalfields, Rich naively began talking to a local prostitute named "Rohipnol Rita". Matt Berry noticed the American being taken advantage of and intervened just as the prostitute was about to take his trousers. The two became compatriots and the rest as they say, is...
Matt became the official hangman at aged fourteen when his uncle died. He was educated at Eton (not a problem as hangmen only do a job about once a month - "No-one knew").
He had quite a cosmopolitan adolescence where one week he would be flown to Tasmania to hang a spy, the next week Bermuda to do the same, and then be back at school as if nothing had happened. Little is known about his parents: only that his Father had declined the family business and possibly joined the R.A.F. His mother worked as a prostitute on Brick Lane.
Matt spent most of his formative years residing at the club of his great, great uncle Sir Charles Berry. One morning a couple of years ago, after hanging a pair of twins for arson, Matt walked into a favourite pub of his, the Ten Bells in London's East End.
He noticed an American tourist being subtly robbed by a known local prostitute. Matt asked the yank if he had the time, knowing that the man would look toward his watch, realise it was missing and thus scupper the prossies plan.
An ugly scene followed with lots of language and spitting, but Matt got him out of the pub and it was at that point that the American introduced himself as Mr Rich Fulcher. He then asked Matt if he knew of a place to lodge nearby and of any possible work appointments. The man was in luck. Sort of.

One For My Baby
Written, directed, and edited by Chris Fallon. Royal College of Art 1985. 'One For My Baby' won joint 1st prize at the Munich International Student Film Festival, and was nominated for the 1985 Short Film BAFTA Film Award.
The film was made very quickly -- written in one night, after a few beers in Brick Lane, we shot it a few days later on five rolls of film. The total budget, including film stock and processing was £750.
I needed someone who could sing and incredibly managed to get Hugh Cornwell, from The Stranglers -- Hugh hadn't acted before, but held his own I think with veteran Charles West and my two just about all-time-favourite actors: cousin Richard Fallon, and Steve O'Donnell.
The crew, all 1st or 2nd year students at the film school, have all gone on to do brilliant work: Matt Lipsey was gaffer and grip, and also composed and played the haunting saxophone music; Bryn Higgins: assistant director; Philip Shotton: camera operator; Mark Plummer: Lighting cameraman. Simon Shore: Sound; Mark James: Art Direction. Check out those names!
There's a HORRIBLE edit at 09:32, that even now brings tears to my eyes. But when I got into the cutting room I couldn't see any way round it; I didn't have the footage and a re-shoot was out of the question.
On a happier note; we needed snow for the final scene, and London had been clear of it for weeks. I bought two bags of fake snow, but it wouldn't have been enough to cover more than a square yard. Then on the last day of the shoot -- when we had 40 ft of film left -- it snowed. The final shot of the clicking fingers was literally the last shot of the shoot -- we ran out of film a second later.
Thank you! CF.
