By the sounds of their first single they may be up to big things. “Stay The Night” mixes the perfect blend of production, sweeping synths and enchanting vocals into an addictive three minute package that will have you hitting rewind.

Amika Akaya – Drop It (Preview) (Out October 8th)
Amika Akaya from Los Angeles has just put out a preview to his new trap anthem “Drop it,” Which comes out next month “October 8th.” The track features a sample from Snoop Dogg and Pharrell’s record “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” If you like heavy bass, pitched vocal synthns, dope hi-hats, and fresh snares make sure to take a listen.
Eli Muro – Dreamtime Hunter EP
It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard from Vancouver’s Jellyfish Recordings but co-founder and Chapel Sound member Eli Muro has been hard at work on this exquisite EP that really is a bloggers nightmare for the simple fact that it’s quite impossible to label any of the music in this release. Eli has stepped up his game since his last release with more of an ambient feel to it all but overall his sound has progressed dramatically with everything sounding nice and sharp. The overall feel of the EP is electronic but the amount of influences, styles and vibes this project has really makes it hard to label it anything short of amazing. From “Dreamtime Hunter” to “Trinkets” this EP really takes you on a smooth ride that only makes you wish there was more, this 8 track EP is finished off with remixes from local cats Kline, Ekali & Jade Statues who all add their own twist. Losco – Drop.
Belgium’s heavy hitting group Losco is back with another freebie that should deserve some cheddar, the track starts with a line from Ice Cube’s “It Was A Good Day” and goes into a ridiculous mess of a beat that really does deliver hard hitting bass. Stream or download above!
Too Many Zooz – Fanimals EP
Rarely do you find a band as unique and talented as this, we can all agree that the trumpet sounds spectacular with anything or by itself but this just adds a whole new layer and perspective to brass music. New York’s Too Many Zooz which consists of Matt Doe, Leo P and Dave Parks are a self-proclaimed “brass house” group that got their start in NY’s subway stations since none of the venues in their city were interested in hosting them. Since they started performing in the Subway stations lots of people have recorded the group playing and put it on youtube with one the videos almost having a million views, now they have their second EP out called “Fanimals” and it’s as fun and crazy as the title. Ryn Weaver – OctaHate (Phate Remix)
Vancouver’s Electric Input collective have been busy stepping up their game, they’ll be releasing a new edit or remix every two weeks from each of their DJ’s/ Producers which will result in their first edit/remix pack. First one up is Phate, he takes on Ryn Weaver‘s “OctaHate” which originally is a alternative electronic indie pop song but Jay Stevens gives it a nice Jersey Club remix. Stream or download above!
Twinztrack – All N My Grill
Twinztrack have done a nice tribute to Timbaland with this remix to Missy Elliot’s second single”All N My Grill” from her 1999 album Da Real World. Leaving some of the song the same Twinz add quite the drums over the perfect sample to pick out of the track, stream or download above.
Sage The Gemini – Gas Pedal (Ness Remix)
We know you’ve heard this track over and over again but we promise you that this remix is by far one of the best to have come out. Daniel Ness working out of London & Paris adds a smooth Jazzy, Soulful, Hip-Hop vibe to the modern hit single, this is a great 90′s take on a modern hit.
