Come to the first Melbourne screening of this great new documentary and support 3CR Community Radio and Green Left Weekly this Friday! Radical Wollongong is the documentary tale of miners battling deadly working conditions, women fighting Australia's biggest company, activists jailed for resisting the Vietnam draft, and today's movement to stop coal seam gas. 

For one week a year 3CR listeners and programmers dedicate time to listening to each other's programs and providing feedback. Our programmers really appreciate the feedback and it helps improve the sound of 3CR.

3CR has two exciting new positions available to deliver a 10-month project that seeks to increase access and participation within the station's community language groups. This is a fixed term position for 12 hours a fortnight until October 2015. The station has identified a need to better support our community language programmers who broadcast outside of office hours and lack regular staff contact and support.

Done By Law, the Federation of Community Legal Centres’ radio show, will be hosting a Trivia Night to help 3CR meet its Radiothon target and pay the bills. This trivia night has it all: dancing, limbo, BYO drinks, food by Gumbo Kitchen and obviously TRIVIA! Show off your Encyclopaedic knowledge of everything from nerdy to sporty, family law to mergers and acquisitions, and from Paris to Paris Hilton! Tickets are only $20 per p
