Hundreds of mink freed in Animal Liberation Front operation against fur farm in Scorzè (Italy)

October 6th, 2014

received anonymously (translation):

“ON AUGUST 23 WE OPENED THE CAGES AT THE MINK FARM ON VIA TOSATTI IN SCORZE’ (VE) – ITALY

THERE WERE THREE STRUCTURES AT THE FARM FOR THE KEEPING OF ANIMALS, ONE WAS EMPTY, SO WE WERE BUSY IN THE OTHER TWO WHERE HUNDREDS OF MINK WERE LOCKED IN CAGES. WE REMOVED ALL IDENTIFICATION TAGS, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY OR CLASSIFY ANY ANIMAL WHO WAS RECAPTURED.

WE DAMAGED SEVERAL CAGES AND DESTROYED DOZENS OF METERS OF FENCE AT THE BACK OF THE FARM TO ALLOW THE MINK TO ESCAPE INTO THE FIELDS BETWEEN THICK CROPS AND STREAMS.

SOON FARMS WILL START KILLING THOUSANDS OF MINK FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FUR.

FOR THESE ANIMALS WHO WILL BE SKINNED THERE IS NO OTHER POSSIBILITY THAN TO OPEN THE CAGES. ANIMAL LIBERATION IS NOT EMPTY WORDS BUT A REALITY WHERE THERE IS OPPRESSION.

WE DEDICATE THIS LIBERATION ACTION TO THE ANARCHIST PRISONERS GIANLUCA AND ADRIANO.

Attempted Molotov attacks against vehicles of techno-industrial company Bayer AG (Germany)

October 5th, 2014

Translated from linksunten.indymedia.org by anarchist comrade Marco Camenisch. Translated from Italian by act for freedom now.

In the night between 26th and 27th July 2014 we tossed molotov bottles at several ‘Bayer AG’ vehicles – and with this action we started off our Tendency of Eco Struggle.

Poisoning and exploiting

During the first world war ‘Friedr. Bayer & Co’ (which later became ‘Bayer AG’) produced explosives and chemicals for war purposes. Their troubles in getting supplies were not due to humanitarian scruples but to security risks and lack of labour force. As soon as the war turned into trench warfare gas begun to be strategically used as a weapon, and Bayer begun to supply the army with tens of thousands of tons of various types of gas.

Not content with their turnover, ‘Friedr. Bayer & Co’ also formed alliances with other chemical companies in a ‘community of interest’ following the example of the American Trusts of the time.

The economic crisis that followed the war didn’t last long, and in 1925 nine chemical companies led by ‘BASF’ formed ‘JG Farben’.

At the beginning (1926), ‘JG Farben’ didn’t embrace the aspirations of the national-socialist party, but then they realized that their production of synthetic petrol couldn’t function without funding. Back in 1932, a year before the electoral victory of NSDAP (German National-Socialist Workers’ Party), the company made contact with Hitler and obtained his support. In order to guarantee stability in their profits, ‘JG Farben’ thought it useful to contribute to the electoral expenses of the NSDAP with about 400,000 Reichsmark (German marks). Since then their cooperation with the Nazi regime flourished almost without frictions.

Almost the entire board of directors of the company became members of the NSDAP, while monopolization made ‘JG Farben’ the fourth most important company in the world.

During the Spanish Civil war, the company provided financial support to Franco’s troops, while in Guernica the Luftwaffe had the chance to test an incendiary bomb produced by ‘JG Farben’ on civilians. During the second world war ‘JG Farben’ was committed to the production of war weaponry and was one of the responsible for the murder and exploitation of prisoners in concentration camps.

As soon as ‘JG Farben’ discovered a suitable site for production near Auschwitz, they started to seek for a hard labour force. In February 1941 Carl Krauch, an important member of ‘BASF’/‘JG Farben’, wrote a letter to Hermann Goring asking him to convince Himmler to use prisoners in concentration camps as slave-workers in the plant of Buna. From the collaboration with ‘JG Farben’ Himmler expected the supply of materials necessary to expand the concentration camp in Auschwitz. In this regard he ordered Karl Wolff to forge a strict alliance with ‘JG Farben’. Read the rest of this entry »

Call For Decentralized Resistance To The G20 Summit In November (Australia)

October 5th, 2014

Anarchists in Australia issue a call out for decentralised attacks, disorder, riots and sabotage around the topic of the G20.

The G20 is meeting in Brisbane in November. This elite decision making body epitomises the undemocratic nature of state-sponsored global capitalism; delegates from the 20 wealthiest economic zones make self-serving proclamations which affect everyone, without open discussion or oversight. …

We are calling for people to form affinity groups in their home towns and
autonomously organise decentralised direct action against the G20 and the capitalist occupation of our lives.

See you on the streets!!

War against ISIS/Daesh: Turkish embassy cars burned in Berlin by Commando Berivan Sason (Germany)

October 5th, 2014

People of Kobane, hear us. In this bitter hour of the inhuman threat, we see you freedom lovers in the world and we call to you: take courage. The city of Kobane is surrounded by the ISIS-murderers. On three sides ISIS confronts the city. If they take the city. it will inevitably lead to a massacre of the remaining Kurdish people on site. They have no way to flee to the north, because there already waiting are the Turkish army …

Turkey will decide at the present day on the extension of the ‘anti-terrorist’ struggle. This will mainly affect Kurdish people in Syria, which they as well as the PKK (Kurdish Peoples Party) stand on the Turkish terror list. Turkey’s fear of the Kurdish people is greater than of the ISIS-fighters. For example, Turkey supports the ISIS-fighters to their best of their will, for example, at border crossings to Syria or arms shipments that were observed by Kurdish people, or the medical care of injured ISIS-fighters in Turkish territory. On the Turkish side of the border, the Turkish army is using force of arms against all those Kurdish people trying to come to Kobane to oppose the corruption. Clashes occur daily there between Turkish security forces and Kurdish people who come from all over Turkey to help the trapped fighters of YPG in Kobane.

Tonight we have attacked the Turkish State in the NATO hinterland to brand it as an inhuman actor in this conflict. Two vehicles of the Turkish State – representatives of the Embassy are burned … At the same time, we appeal to everyone, not to stand idly by, ignite the solidarity for our brothers and sisters.

We tremble with the combatants, but their determination is our courage. We will not abandon the ideals and freedom. Maximum global solidarity!

Long live freedom!

In Memory of Berivan Sason, fallen but never dead!

Commando Berivan Sason

NB: Ceylan Ozalp (Code Name: Berivan Sason) was an active fighter and leader with several comrades in the northern Syrian Kurdish city Kobanê in armed resistance against the ISIS/Daesh.

Kansas City: Letter from imprisoned anarchist comrade Eric G. King (USA)

October 5th, 2014

From supportericking.wordpress.com:

Eric G. King, a 28-year-old local anarchist, was arrested and charged with an attempted firebombing of a government official’s office in Kansas City, MO. Eric allegedly threw a hammer through a window of the building and then through two lit bottles inside, though both failed to ignite.

Eric was identified as a suspect by local police because he had previously come under suspicion for anti-government and anti-police graffit. Eric is allegedly involved with the the Kansas City Fight Back insurrectionist collective.

Eric is currently being held in the Corrections Corporation of America’s Leavenworth Detention Center.

From Behind Enemy Lines: Statement by Eric G. King

10/5/14

My name is Eric. I’ve been an anarchist since about the age of 17; of course developing and maturing my views as I have grown. I am very active in the LGBQT, Earth, Animal, Antifa and other communities. I have organized Food Not Bombs, rallies against the Klan, and many others in support of human rights, anti-capitalism, animal rights, etc! I am an insurrectionist now. I believe that revolution starts in our own minds and once you are personally ready, then everyone has something they can do.

I value and support the solidarity and comradery received from the community now when I need it most. There is a warm feeling you get from knowing that you committed your life to something larger than yourself and getting warm wishes, kindness, and positive words which can really help someone out of a dark day. I am getting indicted this week and hopefully will be outside sooner or later. Books, stamp money, envelope money and letters would be greatly appreciated if you’re able and if not keep up the struggle. With love and support, EK (A) (///)

‘In Defense of Kubani’ – Call for Actions of International Solidarity (Kurdistan)

October 5th, 2014

325 received this text from our comrades of Anarchist Network, an international network of Persian-speaking anarchists. Check this site. Death to Daesh/ISIS.

As you know, war and conflict on the Kanton boundaries of Kurdistan, West of Kubani, from September 2014 has started.

This conflict is between “Progressive Revolutionary Fighters Y.P.G.” and Daesh / ISIS criminal forces, and due to the latest news, war is raging strongly.

This situation is worrying us a lot. The main purpose of writing this report is to change observation of this tragic dangerous situation in which our “Dear Kurdish People” and “Our Comrades” are facing day and night, into a direct participation and into actions which could lead to an international support in helping defenseless Kurdish women, men and children.

We can work together to assist Kurds in Kubani which can show “the power of our will” and “our conscience” towards people in need.

This can be through any kind of actions, gathering together in different cities, countries, nationally and internationally.

To achieve this aim, we would like to ask all “Anarchist Groups and Organisations” around the world for an “International Day of Support and Solidarity with Kurdish People”.

Please, please, let’s put our differences aside and work together to rescue a “Nation Who Are So Defenseless, Fleeing Their Home” and running with empty hands and barefeet and hungry and thirsty in the desert and mountains to arrive somewhere safe, but thousands of them, among them many children, have already died of starvation on their way to nowhere.

The shocking story is this: Those innocents who can arrive in some countries like Turkey, not only will be not protected, but are being brutally attacked by the fascist military of the Turkish government. This is something inhuman.

How can we stay silent and do NOTHING??? We are human, aren’t we?
Kubani is our heart and our heart’s beat should not fall.

The fall of Kubani is the fall of us all, against religious fascist forces like Daesh / ISIS, etc.

Please let us know of any actions in support, it does not matter which action you choose, as long as it is a progressive one which can awaken the people of the world…

Read the rest of this entry »

– committing robbery while masked or disguised (except Dimitris Politis, who was convicted as an accessory),
– aggravated possession of firearms (for the guns used in the double expropriation),

Many individuals gathered in the special court room of Korydallos prison to show their solidarity with the comrades who were being sentenced.

After the counting and merging of the sentences, the terror court decided:

Nikos Romanos: 15 years and 10 months.
Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos, Fivos Harisis, Argyris Ntalios: 15 years and 11 months.

4 anarchist comrades begin hunger strike (Mexico)

October 2nd, 2014

via cna mexico:

To free media
To the peoples of the world
To all those oppressed

Driven by a sense of rebellion and a declared rejection and true repudiation of all control mechanisms, including the prison system, we, anarchist and libertarian individuals, in our condition as prisoners abducted by the Mexican government, have decided to exercise one of the few tools of struggle which we can assert from inside prison: the hunger strike. From today, October 1st, a year after the arrests on October 2, 2013, 10 months of the kidnapping of Fernando Barcenas and 9 months after the detention of Amelie, Carlos and Fallon.

For us the hunger strike is not synonymous with weakness, much less do we seek to fall into a position of victimization; however, we assume it as an alternative of fighting that we consider conducive in a logic of protest and disobedience to the imprisonment of our bodies and the humiliation, isolation and frustration it means to be held in these centers of terror. We opted to take action rather than accept prison as “normal”.

The State seeks to train docile and servile citizens to maintain their established “social order” and thus be able to support the structure of capitalist production only beneficial to the ruling class. Prisons have a key role in shaping these good citizens. It is to the bourgeois society that the prison actually seeks to readjust. Read the rest of this entry »

“Luddites” conduct solidarity sabotages in southeast Quebec / Des “Luddites” font des sabotages solidaires dans le sud du Québec (Canada)

October 2nd, 2014

via antidev:

‘We retransmit this message sent to us from visitors… On retransmet ce message qui nous a été envoyé par des lecteurs-rices…’

So the other night on September 21, we’ve set fire to a railroad telecomm cable linking Brigham to Sherbrooke (Qc) to the US, thinking about the Algonquins people recently evicted from a resistance camp and detained in Gatineau. We took the time to select a railway bridge in the middle of nowhere near Waterloo, so we’d not have to dig to get to the cables or attract too much attention. Some fuel was dropped through an opening in the steel casing of the cables, then set on fire. Nothing fancy. It worked better than we’d guessed, as a few seconds later it already smelled of burning rubber a few meters away. The enclosed air in the conduit apparently turned the fire into something like a blow torch. Kind of an easy game to be reproduced elsewhere by others, we told ourselves… so that’s a reason to let others know.

Of course it didn’t cause the whole techno-industrial system to collapse! Society is still pretty much functional today. But you gotta start attacking it somewhere. Though it did feel as if an important nerve deep below society had been severed. And this felt good getting off our asses in the middle of the night for this. Read the rest of this entry »

PDF: Setting Fires With Electrical Timers- An Earth Liberation Front Guide

September 30th, 2014

37 pages B&W: Setting Fires With Electrical Timers- An ELF Guide

From the introduction:

Electrical timers are superior to delays that use candles, incense or cigarettes. Electrical timers have significantly longer delay times. When electrical timers are carefully constructed, they are more reliable. Each one can be tested repeatedly until you are certain that it will work. Electrical timers are easily protected from wind and
rain, whereas even a mild breeze can be a problem for candles and incense.

This guide has recipes for two electrical timers, the Old-Fashioned Kitchen Timer and the SCR Digital Timer. Both recipes have been greatly expanded to give extremely clear and detailed instructions. Our goal has been to eliminate ambiguity from the directions and to provide as many helpful tips as possible. You don’t need prior experience with electronics. You need only practice some with a soldering iron. As long as you pay attention to details and do the proper testing, you’ll be able to construct highly reliable timers.

The Old-Fashioned Kitchen Timer is relatively quick and easy to construct. The SCR Digital Timer takes much longer to build, especially the first few times, but it is worth the effort. At the target, it can be positioned and activated with unparalleled speed and safety. In addition, the SCR Digital Timer is extremely precise – down to the minute, and even down to the second, depending on the timepiece. With that level of precision, you can guarantee that multiple incendiary devices will ignite at the same time. Simultaneous ignition is especially important in situations where you expect firefighters to arrive quickly. If ignition is not simultaneous, the first fire may bring firefighters onto the scene before the other fires have a chance to do damage.

There are two other timer recipes that have been passed around. Both have serious drawbacks and should no longer be used. One recipe uses the hour hand on a wind-up wristwatch to push two wires together. It is terribly imprecise and most wristwatches are unable to perform the job. The other recipe uses an alarm clock that plugs
into an electrical outlet. (It must be an alarm clock with a battery backup.) This type of alarm clock shuts off its display when unplugged, creating complications for the saboteur. Another problem is its reliance on a REED relay, which is not a solid state component and not as resilient as an SCR. The SCR Digital Timer is more foolproof and easier to use.

We hope you find many good uses for these timers. Enjoy.

Walsrode: Car vandalized at BioMedVet Research GmbH animal testing company (Germany)

September 29th, 2014

via interarma.info:

Secret animal testing lab revealed!

- Claim of responsibility -

The company BIOMEDVET RESEARCH GMBH operates an animal testing laboratory at:

SÜDKAMPEN 31
29664 Walsrode
Lower Saxony

They are conducting tests on beagles. The laboratory is located at the spot where the infamous animal testing company HARLAN operated a lab. HARLAN left Walsrode at the end of 2009. BIOMEDVET has been there since the beginning of 2010. The animal murder continued, only with other perpetrators. The laboratory is small but for the animals who are dying it does not matter. Murder is murder.

The laboratory is totally secluded in a wooded area. It is well hidden and hardly anyone knows about it. The company has no website. They probably thought they would go undetected. Even in the animal rights scene, the lab may be unknown. Unfortunately it was not possible to liberate the dogs. But we attacked an expensive car on the premises: Paint stripped and glass etched.

Companies like BIOMEDVET must be pulled from anonymity. Our motto: Animal killers, you can not hide! We will find you sooner or later!

Our message to the animal rights scene: Make something out of this! The underground has done its part.

Animal testing is murder. We will resist animal testing and all forms of animal exploitation.

No rest for the animal murderers!

Earth Liberation Front take responsibility for an attack on the National Parks and Wildlife Service (Australia)

September 28th, 2014

via biteback:

We claim responsibility for the attack on the National Parks and Wildlife Service on the morning of Thursday 18th September.

NPWS were targeted for their part in the war on wildlife, with an extended history, and a continuing habit of dumping 1080 poison (sodium fluoroacetate) into wild places, all under the public guise of ‘conservation’. Killing and destroying indiscriminately, how many more lives and lands must be destroyed by this groups insane, ecocidal visions and experiments?

To express our outrage, under the cover of night, we entered their depot on Darug/Gundungurra Country (Blackheath, NSW). During our short visit, two vehicles were set upon leaving tyres slashed, windscreens smashed and a little additive into the fuel, just to sweeten the deal.

If you choose to continue to use this land as your dumping ground, you will encounter us again. Our rage will only burn bigger and stronger.

In defense of predators. In defense of wildness.

Anti-nuclear demo of 16,000 people in Tokyo against plan to restart reactors at Sendai (Japan)

September 28th, 2014

Some 16,000 people rallied Tuesday 23/09 in Tokyo against the government’s plan to restart nuclear reactors, more than three years after the Fukushima disaster. It was one of the largest anti-nuclear demonstrations since the state nuclear watchdog on September 10 approved plans to restart two reactors at the Sendai plant in southern Japan.

“Three and a half years has passed since the nuclear accident, but self-examination has yet to be made,” Nobel literature laureate Kenzaburo Oe told the Tokyo rally, according to public broadcaster NHK. “The government is going ahead with the plan to resume operation at the Sendai plant without compiling sufficient anti-disaster plans,” Oe said.

After the rally demonstrators marched through the capital, carrying banners like: “We don’t need nuclear plants”.

As the government tries to convince a skeptical public about the necessity of nuclear power, on Sunday 21/9, new industry minister Yuko Obuchi said the resource-poor nation should be “realistic about its energy needs”. In pre-Fukushima Japan, nuclear power accounted for nearly one-third of the country’s energy needs.

The Nuclear Regulatory Authority has said the two reactors were satisfactory but hurdles still remain, including getting the consent of local communities in a country still scarred by the catastrophe where all 48 viable reactors are offline. Widespread angry anti-government and anti-nuclear sentiment has simmered ever since the earthquake and tsunami in March 2011 caused meltdowns at Fukushima, sparking the worst atomic disaster since Chernobyl.

Tens of thousands of people were evacuated from their homes, many of whom have not been allowed to return. Scientists say some areas might have to be abandoned forever. There have been anti-fascist and anti-government demonstrations taking place, and angry protestors accuse the media and state of hiding the news of them occurring and so trying to stop the people’s rage from being known.

Anarchists cross the border from Turkey in solidarity with fighters in Kurdistan against ISIS (Syria)

September 27th, 2014

daf_in_kobane.jpg

In Shingal, Kobane and all Rojava, ISIS is Dehak and the people are Kawa

by Devrimci Anarşist Faaliyet – DAF – Revolutionary Anarchist Action

In Kurdistan, people are fighting against ISIS, “the procreated violence” given birth to by capitalism and the States that start wars for their own benefits. ISIS, the subcontractor of the States that pursue income strategies on the region, is attacking people while yelling “Islamic State!” and “holy war, jihad!”. People are suffering from hunger and thirst, getting ill, getting injured; migrating and dying. They are still fighting in that struggle for existence. People are fighting not for the schemes and strategies around meeting tables, not for income, but for their freedom.

As freedom is to exist in danger of being non-existent. As freedom is to live. Like the fight of Kawa, defending the life by resisting against Dehaks.

And now the USA, the EU, Turkey, all the states that have expectations of income from the region, are establishing coalitions against ISIS, the “procreated violence” which in reality isn’t a disturbance to them at all. Read the rest of this entry »
