AS Australian Muslim communities brace for retaliatory violence in the wake of the shocking acts of IS, a former soldier has posted a chilling video promising Cronulla-style race riots.

Ralph Cerminara, a former Australian soldier who is one of the leaders of the fringe Australian Defence League group, recently posted the video on You Tube.

“Another Cronulla is coming, and I can’t wait until it does, because this time, we’re going to show you who’s boss,” Cerminara said.

He also says the prayer rooms and mosques are going to “burn”.

“I’m coming for you,” he says in his diatribe.

The video was posted after Cerminara was reportedly assaulted while filming people in Lakemba, according to The Daily Mail. The attack left him with a small cut to his left ear.

Cerminara had allegedly been following Muslim women around, taking pictures of them and posting the images on the ADL’s Facebook page, where he and other members wrote insulting things about them.

“I’m going to continue photographing all your women, and your f---en men (if you call them men, I call them gutless cowards), but I’m going to continue doing it,” Cerminara boasted in his You Tube video.

“And there’s nothing you guys can do about it. Simple and plain. The law’s on my side, not your side. And even if the law wasn’t on my side, I’d continue doing it.”

Cerminara’s actions have caused great concern among the local community.

Islamic groups said he must stop and explain his actions and his apparent hate campaign against them.

Maha Abdo, the executive officer of the Muslim Women’s Association, told the ABC earlier this year that she didn’t understand why this was happening.

On the 11th of December 2005 racial tensions exploded at Cronulla beach in Sydney as a large, intoxicated crowd targeted anyone of middle eastern appearance.

“Why are they attacking women? Why are they taking photos without their consent?,” Abdo said.

“Whether it is racism or it is not it’s not about that anymore. It’s about the effect of their words and their reaction on normal average people.”

One mother of three who was subject to Cerminara’s photography on public transport also told the ABC the experience gave her panic attacks.

“When I’m alone, I have panic attacks,” the unidentified woman told the national broadcaster’s 7:30 program.

“I need to, you know, see a counsellor and work through my fears to see if I can go back on a train and get over this.”
