The latest evidence came Friday in a jobs report that showed a pickup in hiring last month that could mean more people with paychecks, more spending and higher corporate profits. But the report also showed that wages were stagnant,...

Home away from home: The tragic story of the Jordan/Syria border crisis. Subscribe to Journeyman for more: http://www.youtube.com/journeymanpictures For downloads and more information visit: http://www.journeyman.tv/?lid=67308&bid;=2 The civil war in Syria has created the world's worst refugee crisis in twenty years. 2.8 million people have fled their homeland to live in foreign camps, such as the UNHCR camp in northern Jordan. "I always heard the word refugee but I never imagined I would be one", says Samar Hariri, a grieving school teacher and mother of five. Samar, her husband and their children are just a handful of the 100,000 displaced Syrians who flocked to Camp Zaatari - just a few kilometres from the border with Syria - and who now call it home. Two years ago, collections of tents sat incongruously in the middle of this barren desert. Now a refugee city with a distinctive heart and soul of its own, a community of resilient, hopeful people looks set to grow ever more established. "You ask yourself, why is this happening to me? A person who always had dignity now has none". Once a prosperous, middle class family man, Abu Diaa now focuses on transforming their camp into something resembling home: an essential coping mechanism for enduring life in a refugee camp. It is an impulse Kilian Kleinschmidt, head of Zaatari Camp, understands: "When you lose everything... your home, your belongings, you have lost your identity. Everything has gone." In this deeply moving report we witness the stoicism of a family rebuilding themselves among thousands of others. A woman in Sweden has achieved a medical first after giving birth to a health baby boy following a womb transplant. The 36-year-old mother received a uterus from a close family friend last year. Her baby boy was born prematurely by cesarean section but is healthy and mother and child are now at home and doing well. The Swedish woman had healthy ovaries, but she was born without a uterus - a syndrome seen in one girl in 4,500. One year after the transplant, when doctors were confident the womb was working well, they transferred a single embryo created in a lab dish using the woman's eggs and her husband's sperm. The woman, who has only one kidney, had three mild rejection episodes, including one during pregnancy, but all were successfully treated with medicines. Mats Brannstrom, Professor and Team Leader of the Uterus Transplantation Team said more research needed to be done adding "I think this is not going to be routine clinical care or routine surgery until many, many years from now. There has been more brawling on the streets of Hong Kong as pro-democracy protesters held another overnight rally.

Police used pepper spray to push crowds back and reclaim some streets that had been occupied for days.

The territory appears divided. Some residents are fed up with the protesters. The protesters are furious at the police, suspecting them of turning a blind eye to pro-Beijing infiltrators.

The police are to send reinforcements to protest areas.
