Margaret "Maggie" Simpson is a fictional character in the animated television series The Simpsons. She first appeared on television in the Tracey Ullman Show short "Good Night" on April 19, 1987. Maggie was created and designed by cartoonist Matt Groening while he was waiting in the lobby of James L. Brooks' office. She received her first name from Groening's youngest sister. After appearing on The Tracey Ullman Show for three years, the Simpson family was given their own series on the Fox Broadcasting Company which debuted December 17, 1989.
Maggie is the youngest child of Marge and Homer, and sister to Bart and Lisa. She is often seen sucking on her pacifier and, when she walks, she trips over her clothing and falls on her face (this being a running gag, being used much more in earlier seasons). Being an infant, she cannot talk. Therefore, she is the least seen and heard in the Simpson family.
Maggie's squeaking and occasional speaking parts are currently provided by Nancy Cartwright, but she has also been voiced by guest stars James Earl Jones, Elizabeth Taylor and Jodie Foster, and by series regulars Yeardley Smith and Harry Shearer. Maggie has appeared in various media relating to The Simpsons – including video games, The Simpsons Movie, The Simpsons Ride, commercials and comic books – and has inspired an entire line of merchandise.

He has also had a successful solo career. In 2007, Plant released Raising Sand, an album produced by T-Bone Burnett with American bluegrass soprano Alison Krauss, which won the 2009 Grammy Award for Album of the Year at the 51st Grammy Awards.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Plant is regarded as one of the most significant singers in the history of rock music, and has influenced contemporaries and later singers such as Freddie Mercury and Axl Rose. In 2006, heavy metal magazine Hit Parader named Plant the "Greatest Metal Vocalist of All-Time". In 2009, Plant was voted "the greatest voice in rock" in a poll conducted by Planet Rock. In 2011, a Rolling Stone readers' pick placed Plant in first place of the magazine's "Best Lead Singers of All Time".
Plant was born in the Black Country town of West Bromwich (then in Staffordshire now in West Midlands) to parents Robert C. who worked as a civil engineer and Annie C. He launched his solo career in 1969 with his debut album An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down (US: The Rod Stewart Album). His work with The Jeff Beck Group and Faces influenced heavy metal genres.
With his career in its fifth decade, Stewart has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best selling artists of all time. In the UK, he has had six consecutive number one albums, and his tally of 62 hit singles include 31 that reached the top 10, six of which gained the number one position. He has had 16 top ten singles in the U.S, with four of these reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked him the 17th most successful artist on the "The Billboard Hot 100 Top All-Time Artists". He was voted at #33 in Q Magazine's list of the top 100 Greatest Singers of all time, and #59 on Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Singers of all time. When i first set eyes on you
First you beat me up
Then you kissed me too
We'd throw stones into the sea
There were no others there
Just you and me
Across the bridge and down the lane
I knew i loved you then
You said you did the same
Oh maggie, what have you done?
I should have seen it coming
Into your sight i'd run
Oh maggie, come to me tonight
I will wait up for you
Make sure you're alright
I miss you
You taught me how to sink or swim
When i was scared that day
You just pushed me in
And when nobody was around
You let me kiss you then
There the love i found
I said i'd never let you go
You just smiled at me
How was i to know?
Oh, maggie, what am i to do?
How i can live with only memories of you?
Oh, maggie, tell me the truth
When your ship was sinking
Did you think it through?
I miss you
You were the fountain of my youth
And when i fumbled
You showed me what to do
And when we were both seventeen
You left me standing there
But you were never mean
And when i saw you out with him
He looked much older
And you looked very thin
I hadn't heard from you in years
And then your mama called
She couldn't speak for tears
She said you left me a note
Inside my pocket burns
With these words you wrote
Hey darling boy, don't you cry for me
I am forever yours
Now that i am free
We'll be together
Throw stones into the sea
They'll be no others there
Just you and me
I miss you
Maggie's gone
I think you came the other night
You stroked my brow
Your eyes were full of light
May have only been a dream
But i would walk with you
To places i never have been

Oh Maggie - du bist so wunderschön
Oh Maggie - du bist so wunderschön
She wears skirts that show her thighs,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time, with me
I like Sue, she's alright,
I'm gonna see my Maggie tonight,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time, with me
I like Sue, Rose is better,
I'm gonna write my Maggie a letter,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time, with me
I like Sue, she's gone to my head,
I like Maggie 'cause she's better in bed,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time, with me
Oh Maggie, come along and spent some time,
Oh Maggie, come along and spent some time,
Maggie
Ride that horse girl
Ride until dawn
I awake in the morning
To find you have gone
I don't want him
I don't love him
I won't have him
You can tell him that my skin grows cold
Everytime i think about him and i'd die
Before i'd be his lady
I won't tell him you don't love him
You don't want him
You won't have him
That your skin grows cold
Every time you think about him
Cause he'll kill you
If he finds you
Maggie
Ride that horse girl
Ride until dawn
When they search the houses
You better be gone
I don't want him
I don't love him
I won't have him
You can tell him that my skin is warm
In the hands of another and i'd die
Before i'd be his lady
I won't tell him you don't love him
You don't want him
You won't have him
That your skin is warm in the hands of another
Cause he'll kill you
If he finds you
Maggie
Oh maggie
They found him
Your boy
Maggie
They killed him
[Verse 1]
Ayo, sometimes I get annoyed, man, I wish that I knew
Maggie more
Every time I fucking text with her she's acting like
she's bored
It's probably cause I'm acting different than I usually
That's just cause I'm not like other guys that's using
To get the ass; man I get nervous when I think about
(What's the deal?) Man I don't know, it's just
something about her
The way she dresses, maybe it's her confidence
But I can't even get her over to my apartment (but I
won't trip)
I got possessed to pick apart the thoughts I'm thinking
Let her know she could have everything that I have
It stinks, she don't understand it, she thinks I'm
fucking cuties
I'm a musician, girl, I do it for the love, not the
groupies
(Hold up, so what you're saying is you care about this
girl?)
Yeah, yeah, I know I'm supposed to act tough, but I
don't know
Fuck the fact that I haven't fully figured out my life
Before the fact that I ain't had a girlfriend that I
care about with all my might
Man I could act tough, ignore her when she text me
But that ain't me, man, I don't like to flex, see
(Is she sexy?) she's like the greatest thing I've ever
seen
I'd compliment her more, but I ain't tryna be obscene
This the girl I go to church with, the girl I think is
worth it
She thinking about if me and her could ever work
It's kinda worthless, I guess, writing a song about my
feelings
I'm too emotional, get overstressed about these things
But when we did hang out, I think she had a good time
Understand that people hurt her in the past, I can't
I wish I could let her know in person how I feel
I wish I knew her better cause I know this shit is real
Every day I get up, pray, thinking bout all the things
to say
Well I hope she realize I'm here to stay
So Maggie, if you're listening, I'm sorry for my
insecurities
It's cause you're beautiful, I hope that you can see
[Hook]
I wanna let you know I got feelings
I wanna take you out to get earrings
But I'm scared you don't think that I'm legit
I know you think I'll run away, but girl, I never quit
I wanna let you know I'm not fooling
I wanna hug you tight like my shoestrings
These fucking choruses aren't making any sense
Cause I'm always flusterated when or not to send a text
[Verse 2]
Ayo, sometimes I get it wrong, man
Sometimes I'm worried bout impressing you, Maggie
If you can hear the things I'm too nervous to text you
Maybe you would understand I'm tryna take it slow
There's no need to rush ourselves into a situation, yo
If the feelings are there, we gotta bunch of time to
grow
I never want to make you feel uncomfortable and go
No matter what the situation physically or mentally
Or medically, I'll give you anything, a friend to me
You truly have been, so without a doubt
We ran around New York City and I made you smile
I took you to Times Square, we had our first kiss
But what you didn't know is that you're on my bucket
list
[Hook]
[Outro]
I wanna let you know I got feelings
I wanna take you out to get earrings
But I'm scared you don't think that I'm legit
I know you think I'll run away, but girl, I never quit
I wanna let you know I'm not fooling
I wanna hug you tight like my shoestrings
These fucking choruses aren't making any sense
Cause I'm always flusterated whether or not we can have
She smiles like the stars and her hair is raven
she's a beautiful angel sent from heaven
she shines like a light she fractures the night
and this barroom's alright
maggie holds her mystery deep inside her heart
she'll keep the secret memories and dance in the dark
you can tell her your longings she will love it
if you ask of the past she won't speak of it
she never will show and you never will know of the child long ago
maggie holds her mystery deep inside her heart
she'll keep the secret memories and dance in the dark
she can trace down her soul in the footprints of trouble
when she drank sorrow right out of the bottle
through the smoke and the years come some old souvenirs
Maggie was a buk and gain
Following the hookin' game
Boo-lah rooka hook and chain
Maggie's eyes could cook a man
But oh, she loved to tantalise
Make it feel like paradise
Oh, nobody cry when Maggie die
When Maggie die - um um um
Boom boom like a shi shi hand
Take her to the rock and hang
Rum and boogie love to dance
Maggie didn't stand no chance
But oh, she love to tantalise
And make it feel like paradise
And oh, nobody cry when Maggie die
When Maggie die - oh oh oh
Boom boom boom - boom poor Maggie
Boom boom boom - poor Maggie
Boom boom boom - boom poor Maggie
Boom boom boom - poor Maggie
Maggie was a buk and gain
Following the hookin' game
Boo-lah rooka hook and chain
Maggie's eyes could cook a man
But oh, she loved to tantalise
And make it feel like paradise
And oh, nobody cry when Maggie die
When Maggie die - mmmm
Boom boom like a shi shi hand
Take her to the rock and hang
Rum and boogie love to dance
Maggie didn't stand no chance
But oh, she love to tantalise
And make it feel like paradise
And oh, nobody cry when Maggie die
When Maggie die - oh oh oh now
Boom boom boom - boom poor Maggie
Boom boom boom - poor Maggie
Boom boom boom - boom poor Maggie
She wears skirts that show her thighs,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time,
O Maggie, come along and spent some time, with me
I like Sue, she's alright,
I'm gonna see my Maggie tonight,

Pack Up Your Troubles
Maggie
Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag
And smile, smile, smile
While you've a lucifer to light your fag
Smile boys, that's the style
What's the use of worrying
It doesn't seem worthwhile
So pack up you troubles in your old kit bag
And smile, smile, smile.
(For the young, a lucifer was a match, a fag was a cigarette)

The violets are scenting the woods, Maggie
Displaying their charms to the bees
When I first said I loved only you, Maggie
And you said you loved only me.
The chestnut bloom gleams thru the glade, Maggie
A robin sang loud from a tree
When I first said I loved only you, Maggie
And you said you loved only me.
The golden row daffodils shine, Maggie
And danced in the breeze on the lee
When I first said I loved only you, Maggie
And you said you loved only me.
The birds in the trees sang a song, Maggie
Of happier transports to be
When I first said I loved only you, Maggie
And you said you loved only me.
Our hopes they have never come true, Maggie
Our dreams, they were never to be
Since I first said I loved only you, Maggie
