Please like, comment and favorite! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maxwell House is a brand of coffee manufactured by a like-named division of Kraft Foods. Introduced in 1892, it is named in honor of the Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. For many years until the late 1980s it was the largest-selling coffee in the U.S. and is currently (ca. 2007) second behind Folgers, which is manufactured by The J.M. Smucker Co. The company recently unveiled a new slogan, "Good Just Got Great," visible on their website. However, it is best known for its longtime slogan, "Good to the last drop," and is still running ads featuring the line. In 1917, Ch...
This LP contains six different themes on the original Maxwell House melody , composed by Wade Denning (1922-2007) that some of us grew up with in the 1960s. Its a fascinating study in how music is used to market a product. All notes from the reverse side of the slipcase are included in this video. The Maxwell House Percolator commercial with its "percolating" jingle ran in 1964 during the New York World's Fair and was subsequently named "the best musical commercial" at the Cannes Film Festival that same year. Other commercial campaigns for which Denning composed included Muriel Cigars, the U. S. Steel Hour, Tetley Tea, Mobil Oil, Kinney Shoes, Duncan Hines Cake Mix, Diamond Crystal Salt, Firestone, the Norelco Santa Claus and Campbell Soup. Kawa -- napój sporządzany z palonych, a nas...

Words & Music: Katrina Maxwell Lyrics: I've got an empty house. Everyone is gone and I'm on my own in my empty house It's so nice and quiet just the way I like it When I go out to replenish the supplies no-one is here to unpack and criticize I've got an empty house Gonna decorate it Gonna walk around naked in my empty house My things don't go missing, don't mess up the kitchen. When I get up to make myself a snack it's always there not just the empty pack. I've got an empty house. no-one to advise me, snoop around, despise me in my empty house I decide who comes in it's by invitation I just want to be free. I just want to be me. I just want to be free to be me. I've got an empty house. love the peace and quiet gonna sanctify it. in my empty house there's no other voices I make all t...
