Dota 2 Purge plays Doom Sub Game

Doom is one of the strongest heroes in the game right now because of his ability to find farm, and his ability to take an opponent out of the question during a teamfight! With the Alpha wolf creep, you can do semi carry levels of damage without needing a damage item, and with the utility from a core item like shivas, you end up being a tanky hero who deals decent damage, removes an enemy from a fight, and still contributes appropriately. I played him here in a Sub game against viewers in the mid lane. It's not normal to play Doom in the mid lane, but in a pub it isn't a big deal. Make sure that you move around and get kills whenever your doom is up, and farm a ton in between! Dota 2 Purge plays Nyx Assassin

I decided to play unranked games on stream so that I could random and get different heroes, and I ended up with a Nyx Assassin this game! Nyx should generally be played in either the offlane or as a support, and this game I played more of a roaming support, though my intention was to play in the offlane. Try to farm towards bottle or Arcane boots, and get a blink dagger afterwards so that you can set up disables easier, and follow that up with generally a force staff, or other utility items. This game I built a diffusal blade because I didn't have faith with my team, and I wanted more damage to compensate. The reason my allies seemed weaker here, is that it's difficult to find a balanced unranked game with my MMR, since most people at my skill level play ranked, so that's why the skill disparity is high. I definitely could have played better though! Dota 2 Purge plays Slardar

Slardar is a great teamfight hero and stunner because of his huge aoe stun thats on a low cooldown, and his general tankiness. With Sprint recently costing 0 mana, and blink now costing 0 mana, you can pick up a quick treads and blink dagger and make a lot happen on the map. From there pick up a BkB, vanguard, or AC to turn into a teamfight semi carry, and with enough kills you should feel like a full carry.

Dota 2 Purge plays Ogre Sub Game

I got to play a sub game like good ol' times, which is going mid, getting a bunch of kills, and then building a midas! Ogre doesn't normally play mid, mostly because he doesn't have a fast pushing ability before 6, he's melee, and he doesn't have any scaling potential. If you are playing a core Ogre, blink dagger is pretty good because you can leverage your burst and tankiness by jumping in on opponents and hoping for the best. From there, I recommend picking up either Aghs, Mek, or some kind of semi carry item like Battlefury. If you're support and playing ogre the correct way, Aghs and Mek are the way to go. Dota 2 Purge coaching Invoker

Quas Exort Invoker has pretty strong lane control because of his good damage, and lane harass, but his potential to get kills generally relies on your opponents to make mistakes, unless you can do a cold snap into sunstrike combo. Most Invokers going this build generally farm up the mid lane for a while until they are able to pick up a midas, then they work towards force staffs and Necro 3's so that they can push lanes and threaten unit spam during teamfights. Dota 2 Purge plays Earthshaker

Earthshaker is a super fun support to play because of his high impact if you snowball a bit. Since you're a melee hero, you can't zone the offlaner very well, so you should focus on ganking and pulling. Try to go places where the difference of 1 moderate nuke and stun is enough to swing a kill. From there, farm towards arcane boots and blink dagger. Your blink should generally come up somewhere between 15-25 minutes for an average game, assuming that you are also buying support items occaisionally. Once you get blink, look for solo and assisted kills with your team, and save echo slam for immediate stuns to setup your other spells, and for teamfights where you jump into the middle. Dota 2 Purge plays Lone Druid

Lone Druid is a fairly strong offlane hero vs dual lanes because you in some ways have the attack power of about 2 heroes. As long as you're trading bear+druid against a solo support, you can often get favorable trades and bully your way into exp and gold gain. Try to kill at LEAST 1 support without dying, and then transition into survivable and safe play that will slowly let you farm and pick up a damage item or two. Generally as a Lone Druid you should avoid early teamfights because your presense doesn't do much unless you root(which is difficult), so try to split and counterpush while your opponents are doing things in other places. You can take towers by yourself EXTREMELY fast so don't be afraid to solo a tower quickly and get out. Late game item builds completely depend on what heroes you are against, and how your early start went. Generally you go either maelstrom, desolator, or radiance, with radiance being the most common pickup. Dota 2 Purge plays Crystal Maiden

Crystal Maiden is a really strong support hero because of her ability to impact the early game in large ways. At level 2, she has 2 nukes and disables for a total of 240 nuke damage, which is pretty impressive. Her right click and movement speed are pretty bad right now, but the overall contribution of her hero is good. Try to aim for tons of wards and sentries, and if you have the money, force staff, ghost scepter, and blink is the way to go. During teamfights, try to use frostbite on enemy carries, and ulti during a teamfight when there are lots of opponents around you, and no stuns left over to disable you. In the mid game his damage and damage boost can be pretty good, but largely you should be disrupting stunned allies and setting up kills on important heroes! Dota 2 Purge plays Shadow Fiend

Shadow Fiend's strengths as a hero surround hit strong right click, good aoe burst damage, and usefulness against tanky bkb carries because of his -armor aura. I'm pretty bad at Shadow Fiend in the mid lane because my razes are weak, but playing him as a right click carry is pretty easily done, so I did that this game instead. You have 2 build options for pubs, and it's either you get a BkB so that you can push and teamfight early, or you can buy a shadow blade so that you can run around and get kills and snowball off of those kills. Dota 2 Purge plays Bloodseeker

Bloodseeker is a mid hero that is getting more and more strong due to buffs, and is becoming a decent counter to a lot of heroes in his own right. His toolset is a bit weird, with a silence, some physical damage, good chase, and HP removal(basically Pure) damage! He has very strong last hitting and lane sustain skills as well in the solo role, and his ganks are semi strong with a bit of team coordination. His item builds are kinda wacky and vary depending on the game, but this game it was quite required of me to pick up a force staff, both to increase my solo killing potential and to increase my survivability against all of their ensnares and temporary disables. Dota 2 Purge plays Bristleback carry

Bristleback is one of my favorite heroes because of his tanky playstyle that allows you to get up in your opponents faces and dish out some major damage. He kind of works as a carry because he does some serious right click damage, but late game he peaks off a bit because your opponents will be able to build force staffs and ghost scepters, which make it hard for you to secure kills. With appropriate farm, though, you can be a counter to Huskar if you get the right items up at the right times, so try him versus huskar some time! Dota 2 Purge plays Sven

Sven is one of the scariest hard carries in the game when he gets farmed now because his cleave is a HUGE percentage now. If you couple this with magic immunity, A mask of Madness, and a damage item or two, then he's very likely to kill a few heroes with his first couple of hits. If you guys are looking to watch a video of me farming for 30 minutes and then eventually teamfighting, then this is the video for you! I don't like playing sven very much unless it gets into games like this because I find the hero isn't that useful before you get all of these items. Or maybe I just suck at him.
