Lacy found the feather
She's gonna throw it in the wind
She pulls upon a sweater
To keep the one that's in
There aint no reason why, but I know shell never lie
Lacy found the feather baby, she's gonna blow it to the sky
And when the morning comes, her body will be numb
And lacy's past will fly, and she said
"I don't wanna go, here i feel i'm losing all control"
Lacy found the feather
lying in the sand
she kneeled to pick it up
and something grabbed her hand
There ain't no reason why, but i know shell never lie
Lacy found the feather baby, she knows its gonna die.
And when the morning comes, her body will be numb
and lacy's past will fly, and she said
"i dont wanna go, here i feel i'm losing all control
no, i don't wanna go, baby, why don't we lose all control?"
And in the end we'll see how happy we could be
if we could risk it all.
can we risk it all?
yeah
can we risk it all?
