They had all the moves!
Perry Parker: You know I... I talk to my teens about love, and I always say "This crazy thing called love, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry...but hey, man, it's what makes the world go 'round." Now, dying for love? Whoa! That's too momentous! I mean it's good for the books, but not for teens. Now, on the other hand, there's nothing wrong with a teen king or a teen queen FEELING like you could die for love. That way, you'd cherish every dance and you'd never waste a kiss.
Del: Okay, we're solving for "n".::Vicky: But that's a letter. I thought this was math.::Del: It's algebra. That is math.::Vicky: Oh...
Vicky: Del, it's raining cats and dogs. Don't step in the poodles.
In art and symbolism, a crescent (pronunciation: /ˈkrɛsənt/) is generally the shape produced when a circular disk has a segment of another circle removed from its edge, so that what remains is a shape enclosed by two circular arcs of different diameters which intersect at two points (usually in such a manner that the enclosed shape does not include the center of the original circle).
In astronomy, a crescent is the shape of the lit side of a spherical body (most notably the Moon) that appears to be less than half illuminated by the Sun as seen by the viewer. Mathematically, assuming the terminator lies on a great circle, such a crescent will actually be the figure bounded by a half-ellipse and a half-circle, with the major axis of the ellipse coinciding with a diameter of the semicircle. The direction in which the "horns" (the points at the intersection of the two arcs) face indicates whether a crescent is waxing (also young, or increasing) or waning (also old, or decreasing). Eastward pointing horns (pointing to the left, as seen from the Northern hemisphere) indicate a waxing crescent, whereas westward pointing horns (pointing to the right, as seen from the Northern hemisphere) indicate a waning crescent. Note that the directions the horns point relative to the observer are reversed in the Southern hemisphere.
John William Coltrane (September 23, 1926 – July 17, 1967) was an American jazz saxophonist and composer. Working in the bebop and hard bop idioms early in his career, Coltrane helped pioneer the use of modes in jazz and later was at the forefront of free jazz. He organized at least fifty recording sessions as a leader during his recording career, and appeared as a sideman on many other albums, notably with trumpeter Miles Davis and pianist Thelonious Monk.
As his career progressed, Coltrane and his music took on an increasingly spiritual dimension. His second wife was pianist Alice Coltrane, and their son Ravi Coltrane is also a saxophonist. Coltrane influenced innumerable musicians, and remains one of the most significant tenor saxophonists in jazz history. He received many posthumous awards and recognitions, including canonization by the African Orthodox Church as Saint John William Coltrane. In 2007, Coltrane was awarded the Pulitzer Prize Special Citation for his "masterful improvisation, supreme musicianship and iconic centrality to the history of jazz."
Brendan Michael Perry (born 30 June 1959 in Whitechapel, London) is a singer and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work as the male half of the duo Dead Can Dance with Lisa Gerrard.
Perry was born in Whitechapel, London, England, UK, in 1959 to Anglo-Irish[clarification needed] parents and subsequently raised and schooled in the East End of London, until his family emigrated to Auckland, New Zealand. Having received no formal musical education, Perry began to play the guitar at the Catholic school he attended in Ponsonby. After failing to become a primary school teacher and to join the civil service, Perry worked at a series of jobs until joining the Scavengers in 1977. At first Perry played bass guitar, later taking on the duties of lead vocalist when the original singer left the band. Apart from a handful of original songs, the band covered music from the Stooges, New York Dolls, and late-'60s Psychedelia. After two years, having failed to secure a recording deal or live dates, the band moved to Melbourne, Australia, in 1979 and changed its name to the Marching Girls. In 1980, Perry left the Marching Girls to pursue a solo career, experimenting with tape loops, synthesis, and alternative forms of rhythm. In 1981, Perry formed Dead Can Dance with Simon Monroe and Paul Erikson (both of whom were to leave soon after they had relocated to London), and Lisa Gerrard.

Her adoptive father was employed as a physics lecturer at the University of St Andrews, and her adoptive mother was a school teacher. Tunstall's family also includes an older brother named Joe and a younger brother named Daniel. Her parents had no interest in music and owned no records — the only tape her father owned was a comedy recording by mathematician and musical satirist Tom Lehrer.
The stars you see in the night sky
Have been dead for centuries
And sunlight creates the illusion
Of life for all these years
Now i no longer trust these eyes of mine
The heart must speak to me
In tongues of forgotten voices
In cosmic energy
So that i can see
The heavens are merely illusions
When you build them high in the sky
And hell is the final solution
For man and his seed design
And the chance of life
And the more that i see
The more life means to me
In the chime of silence of your love
Can't feel in my love
And i need love in my life
Can't feel it in you
And i need love in my, i see life
Static in my atmosphere drawing her to near
Senses lost in the haze she dreams and we escape
And when the rain comes pouring in we will drown again
Halos circle her heavy tongue whispering our song
When i force her to come undone to heaven she will come
The stars you see in the night sky
Have been dead for centuries
Starlight creates the illusion
Of life for all these years
Now I no longer trust these eyes of mine
The heart must speak to me
In tongues of forgotten voices
In ancient harmonies
So that I can see
Heavens are merely illusions
When you build them high in the sky
And hell is the final solution
For those who have no faith in this life
They are blinded by lies
Here in the garden, fountain of life
Here in the garden, arcane delights
Are born from the womb
Down here the seed will rise
From dark earth to the light
To kiss the sun again
She brings me flowers
To ease the pain
She brings me light
Where only darkness waits
And the more that I see
The more life means to me
And the way you love the wild earthly dream
She sings her song for you and me
I don't care what lies beyond this world
All I really care about is you
All Mother Nature's gifts of life have made
This has been a difficult courtship between poet and
verse, but right now we are turning the silver over in
our pockets while the old moon rests in the arms of the
