Fresh off a recent fiasco with a heckler that included a broken nose, Joe's friend Kenny tells him he can get them an audition for 'The Tonight Show' and that it's 'a can't miss.' The one catch is that it's at a roadside bar in tiny Pine Lake, Wisconsin, hometown of Tonight Show Talent scout, Harvey Skorik who never misses 'Rocktoberfest.' Having doubts but needing a break from L.A., Joe reluctantly agrees to go. Arriving in Wisconsin, Joe bombs his first night on stage when local emcee Dug sabotages him. Joe cannot get a break until he encounters his former high school English teacher, the beautiful Molly Mahoney who is also at a crossroads in her life, coming off a failed marriage. Molly is excited for Joe's 'Tonight Show' opportunity. Joe tells her he just wants to prove to himself that he hasn't been wasting the last fifteen years of his life. Molly makes him realize just the opposite - that he has been living his dream. Things finally start looking up for Joe Keegan until he finds that the biggest audition of his life will be in front of his toughest crowd yet; Packer fans, Deer Hunters and The Godfather of Green Bay, Big Jake Norquist, a former high school football star turned drug dealer who is also in love with Molly.

James Louis "Jim" Chapman (born March 8, 1945 in Washington, D.C.) is an American business and political leader. From 1985 to 1997, he served as Democratic Congressman representing the Texas's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. His home town was Sulphur Springs.
Chapman attended public schools in Sulphur Springs; he received an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin (1968) and a law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas (1970).
After a stint in private practice, Chapman became the District Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District of Texas (1976–1985), during which time he achieved a 99 percent conviction record and a national reputation as a tough, law and order prosecutor. Chapman served in leadership roles with the Texas District and County Attorneys Association and the National District Attorneys Association. Later, he set up his own practice and was senior partner of the law firm of Chapman, Price, Hughes & Bauer. He also became chairman of a local community bank.
Alexander Marcus (born 26 July 1972 in Berlin) is a persona of the German music producer Felix Rennefeld. He has become popular throughout Germany after a series of videos he produced and displayed on YouTube.
After his parents were divorced Alexander Marcus lived with his grandmother in the country, where he took part in the popular children's dance group "Edelweißchen". At eighteen he went to the US and lived in New York and Miami, and while there experienced international and electronic music. It was here that he formed the idea to mix the two music styles. He has been living in Berlin since 2005. On 6 June 2008 he released his debut album Electro Lore with Kontor Records, which included guest contributions by Manny Marc and Frauenarzt.
Rennefeld's music is a mixture of modern electronic club music and folk music, which he has named 'Electro Lore', a combination of 'electro' and 'folklore'. Alexander Marcus exaggerates many of the clichés present in pop music, and his music videos feature "trashy" objects, such as a recurrent plastic globe called "Globi". Spiegel Online sees the character as a typical example of a return to pop-art social criticism. Never breaking out of character, he leaves the question of whether he is a parody unanswered:

In your struggle for love
Hate struck you down
But in so many hearts
You're still around
You freed so many souls
From the depths of despair
But we will never forget
The burdens you had to bare
chorus
Oh Marcus we love you
You never shy from the things you had to do
Strength and courage pulled many through yeah
Oh boy
repeat chorus
Paving a different way
Was the order of the day
And I'm so glad to say
Your teachings are here to stay
The wicked cast you aside
But your missions have never died
It lives on and on and on
repeat chorus 2x
You can't stop the ??? Marc, oh no
You achieved the best of a bad situation
Gave hope to the people of the nation
Yes you did
You achieved the best of a bad situation
Gave hope to the people of the nation
Yes you did, yes you did
Scattered all over the place, living in disgrace
The people have lost their ways
Their minds have gone astray
Sheer hysteria
Told us look to Africa
To be our rightful home again
repeat chorus 2x
Look to Africa
