History is made by those who break the rules.
Billy Sunday: The Navy Diver is not a fighting man, he is a salvage expert. If it is lost underwater, he finds it. If it's sunk, he brings it up. If it's in the way, he moves it. If he's lucky, he will die young, 200 feet beneath the waves, for that is the closest he'll ever get to being a hero.
Billy Sunday: Think you deserve to be here, don't ya? Fraternizing among navy men? Think you're as good as they are? How 'bout me, cookie? You better than me?::Carl Brashear: You're damn right I am!
Jo: Don't you see? I'm not like you. The things I want... [Jo sighs and takes Carl's hand] The things I want are smaller. If I just work hard and keep my head down...::Carl Brashear: Your whole life will pass you by.
[Sunday regards a picture of Carl's late father]::Billy Sunday: What the hell did he ever say to make you try so hard?::Carl Brashear: Be the best.::Billy Sunday: Well, you are.
Billy Sunday: My name is Master Chief Billy Sunday. There was a preacher by the same name who cleaned up Chicago of all the whoring spics, drunken wops and motherfucking niggers that was making that place unfit for decent white folks to live. The only difference between me and that old preacher is that he worked for God, and I *am* God!
[Student standing in underwear and banging on empty pot with spoon]::Diving Student: I stole a pie! I stole a pie! I stole a pie!
[Sunday blasts Snowhill with the water-hose]::Billy Sunday: Snowhill, get your Wisconsin ass back in the barracks.
Jo: Why do you want this so bad?::Carl Brashear: Because they said I couldn't have it.
Billy Sunday: Goddammit Cookie, move your ass, I want my TWELVE!
Carl Brashear: Forgive me sir, but to me, the Navy isn't a business. It's an organization of people who represent the finest aspects of our nation. We have many traditions. In my career, I have encountered most of them. Some are good, some not so good. I would, however not be here today were it not for our greatest tradition of all.::Captain Hanks: And what would that be, Chief Brashear?"::Carl Brashear: " Honor, sir"
Duke: Forgot somethin'...

He's got a date ...with DEATH!
Jefferson Davis: I must pronounce our solemn farewell. Under these circumstances, of course, my functions - and those of my colleagues - terminate here. We but tread in the path of our fathers when we proclaim our independence - and take the hazard, putting our trust in God, and in our own firm hearts - and strong arms - we will vindicate the right as best we may. [looking slowly around the room] I see now around me some with whom I have served long; there have been points of collision. For whatever offense I have given, I ask forgiveness. Of whatever of offense there has been to me, I leave here. I carry with me no hostile remembrance. I go hence unencumbered of the remembrance of injury received, and having discharged the duty of making the only reparation in my power for any injury offered. [pausing] Mr. President; Senators - having made the announcement which the occasion seemed to me to require - it remains only for my colleagues and myself to bid you a final - adieu.
Thaddeus Stevens: You're a great stickler for the Constitution, aren't you?

Exercise black thought, dance on a catwalk
Grew up on the asphalt, trynna get my grams off
Watch for the hand off, I'm a get my plans off
Like you and your mans off, everybody huddle up
Twenty cent dime pieces, watch the water bubble up
A piece of the puzzle, son, pieces, crumble up
My old righteous troublesome, now I'm into major things
Made it this far, kid, the God got on angel wings
Everytime the flavor bring, tons of coke, mad gross
Two cuts of lactose, I'm underground like railroad

Brains out for fun, over cocaine and guns

[Slaine:]
Ever since a little youth, I've been bent on stoupes, sipping gin and juice
In the booth, fill the dope game, shooting on bent up hoops
Roll around in stolen cars, nah these ain't no rented coupes
Grimeys behind me, they all grimey, ninety percent of controlled
Lying in the booth, put the ashes in the pipe
Blowtorch to the crack, my fire is winter proof
Old thoughts of black and white pictures, now they developing
Skeletons surrounded by archangels and seraphims
Telegram packages distributed through the whole hood
Tell him this racquet is bad for him but it's so good
Are you a fighter? Real life scuffle, no dirt clean
Plus a muthafucka had to hustle since 13
I got my mind in focus, where you never been at
How you think I made a hundred grand, from where my pen's at
Fuck the fortune and the glamour, I don't need no fame
I piss whiskey and spit fire, I bleed cocaine, muthafucka

Says she's got another life
That I am living in my friend
Through and through she says
It's nothing I can change
I always was the one
The celebration ends without a sound
And the friends they're not around
And you find you're all alone
Talking to yourself again
You promised it's the end
Just one night you'll be fine
Cause in the end the dreams you dream
Are all you ever were
Says she's got another life
That I am living in my friend
Through and through she says
It's nothing I can change
I always was the one
And she'll say
Come on I'd like to buy the world a coke
And lie here naked with my girl
Come on I'd like to buy the world a coke
And lie here naked with my girl
The lights dim once again someday I'll sleep
Cause it's all the same to me
This tiny voice inside my head keeps me awake
Come on let's find the cure
Come on let's die until we live
In the end you'll find how high you climbed
There's no design to ever bring you down
Says she's got another life
That I am living in my friend
Through and through she says
It's nothing I can change
I always was the one
And I'll say
Come on I'd like to buy the world a coke
And lie here naked with my girl
Come on I'd like to buy the world a coke
And lie here naked with my girl
And she knows
(repeat 6 more times)
I gotta buy the world a coke
I gotta buy the world a coke
And lie here naked with my girl
And she knows
