Markoni (Barry Prima) telah insyaf dari dunia kejahatan dan tinggal di lembah terpencil bersama Ningrum (Aznah Hamid), istrinya dan seorang pembantu. Suatu hari datang bekas teman kelompok jahatnya, Karto (Baharudin Hadji Omar), yang mengajak kerjasama lagi. Ia juga menanyakan harta Markoni hasil rampokan dulu. Markoni menolak. Karto yang kemudian dikenal bernama Aria Geni lalu menyuruh anak buahnya menyerang rumah Markoni saat dia tak di rumah. Ningrum sempat diperkosa sebelum akhirnya terbunuh bersama pembantunya. Peta tempat harta Markoni berhasil dirampas. Maka tidak ada jalan lain bagi Markoni kecuali kembali adu kekuatan. Ia meraba siapa pelakunya. Dalam pencariannya ia jumpa dengan Mawi (Krisno Wijaya), yang mengalami nasib serupa. Istrinya dibunuh dan anaknya diculik dijadikan selir Aria Geni. Mereka berdua lalu sepakat mencari bersama. Satu-satu pembunuh dan pemerkosa istrinya dibunuh, hingga akhirnya Markoni jumpa dengan Aria Geni yang baru diketahuinya adalah teman lamanya

Sinopsis
Johny (Barry Prima) kerasukan kobra, yang juga membuat ayahnya meninggal. Untuk penyembuhannya, dia pergi ke desa kawannya, Rasyid (Baron Hermanto), yang saat itu sedang ditimpa kesulitan hutang pada Salim (Teddy Purba), pemilik pembakaran kapur dan jagoan di wilayah itu. Salim mengincar Santi (Lia Fadilla), adik Rasyid, yang ternyata mencintai Johny. Atas saran Mang Oyong (Mardali Syarief), Johny berobat ke seorang pawang. Tidak begitu jelas pengobatannya. Yang jelas ia sembuh sembari mengobrak-abrik sarang Salim dan komplotannya. Ternyata permusuhan itu sudah terjadi antara ayah Johny dan ayah Salim, yang tadinya sama-sama berguru ilmu hitam.

Barry White, born Barry Eugene Carter ((1944-09-12)September 12, 1944 – July 4, 2003(2003-07-04)), was an American composer and singer-songwriter.
A two-time Grammy Award-winner known for his distinctive bass voice and romantic image, White's greatest success came in the 1970s as a solo singer and with the Love Unlimited Orchestra, crafting many enduring soul, funk, and disco songs such as his two biggest hits, "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" and "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe."
Worldwide, White had many gold and platinum albums and singles, with combined sales of over 100 million, according to critics Ed Hogan and Wade Kergan. His influences include southern soul artists like Isaac Hayes, Clarence Carter, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin plus Motown artists The Supremes, The Four Tops and Marvin Gaye. Along with Isaac Hayes, White is considered by Allmusic.com as the first singer who played disco music before the actual period of the late 1970s.
Barry White was born Barry Eugene Carter in Galveston, Texas, and grew up in the high-crime areas of South Central Los Angeles. White was the elder of two brothers; his brother Darryl is 13 months younger. He grew up listening to his mother's classical music collection, and first took to the piano emulating what he heard on the records. His introduction to music later led to him playing piano on Jesse Belvin's hit single, "Goodnight My Love."

The earliest recorded use[citation needed] of the term "the Man" in the American sense dates back to a letter written by a young Alexander Hamilton in September 1772, when he was 15. In a letter to his father James Hamilton, published in the Royal Dutch-American Gazette, he described the response of the Dutch governor of St. Croix to a hurricane that raked that island on August 31, 1772. "Our General has issued several very salutary and humane regulations and both in his publick and private measures, has shewn himself the Man." Sinopsis Sumantri sudah lama menduda, hingga dua anaknya pun ingin ibu. Pertemuannya dengan Ika membuat Sumantri mengalah pada anak-anaknya. Ia mengawini Ika. A SURGERY loving model has had SIX RIBS removed - to look like a CARTOON character. Former electrician Pixee Fox , from North Carolina, USA, had already spent more than £70,000 on plastic surgery attempting to sculpt the perfect hourglass figure. But now she has taken her obsession even further by having her lower ribs removed - so she can shrink her waist to a record-breaking 14 inches. The 25-year-old, who is originally from Sweden, says she was inspired by animated characters like Jessica Rabbit, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and Holli Would from Cool World. The extreme five-hour keyhole surgery operation cost £6,000 and was performed by plastic surgeon Dr Barry Eppley in Indianapolis, Indiana in October. The operation, which is irreversible, is usually performed for medical reasons but can be used for cosmetic purposes after extensive consultation.

Episode 1 - Gaston The Ladybird 0:00-10:36
Holly and Ben think Gaston the Ladybird is sad so they try and cheer him up by tidying his cave. But Gaston liked his cave just as it was all messy and untidy. Ben and Holly cheer Gaston up by making his cave all messy again.
Episode 2 - Picnic On The Moon 10:37-21:13
Part 2 of 2 - The visitors land on the Moon and begin to explore. They meet some friendly aliens and have fun making Sandcastles and sharing their picnic. Nanny creates a Jelly flood but luckily the Aliens love to eat Jelly! Disaster almost strikes again when they discover that the rocket has no fuel to get back, but the Wise Old Elf comes up with an ingenious plan to get them home using – Magic Jelly!
Episode 3 - Cows 21:14-31:51
The children are at the Elf Farm, but to learn where milk comes from they must visit a Big Farm, to find cows. They travel to Lucy Big’s Farm, where she shows them all the animals.
Episode 4 - The Toy Robot 31:52-42:28
Out playing in the meadow, Holly, Ben and their friends find a broken toy robot. Holly fixes it with magic, but the robot does not behave as they thought it would, and soon it is trying to clean out the whole castle.
Episode 5 - Betty Caterpillar 42:29-53:28
Ben and Holly meet a new friend, Betty Caterpillar, but she is sad that she can’t join in their games because she can’t fly. King Thistle tells them that they can feed her lots of food to help her, but Holly thinks that Betty is getting so fat she will not be able to fly, until she turns into a beautiful butterfly.

Karena ilmu dan ketangkasannya, Kidang Telangkas (Barry Prima) dijuluki Rajawali dari Utara. Istri dan anaknya dibunuh Ki Dapaksa. Ia mengembara kemana-mana mencari pembunuh ini. Dalam pengembaraan itu ia sempat menolong gadis yatim-piatu, Nawangsih (Melisa Husein). Nawangsih ingin ikut Kidang, tapi diserahkannya pada gurunya untuk dilatih silat. Setelah menguasai ilmu, Nawangsih mencari Kidang. Saat bertemu mereka nikah dan hidup di daerah tempat persembunyian Ki Dapaksa. Melihat jumlah musuh, Nawangsih diminta memanggil gurunya, dan Kidang sendiri minta bantuan sejumlah kawan. Nawangsih dicegat dan ditahan. Maka pertempuran terjadi. Semua bisa dikalahkan, termasuk patih kerajaan yang makar. Maka Kidang dan Nawangsih menjadi raja di wilayah itu. -

SINOPSIS :
Bajing Ireng, pendekar wanita yang bernama asli Roijah dari Desa Kandang Haur, merampok harta orang-orang kaya untuk didermakan kepada rakyat jelata yang menderita. Penderitaan rakyat bukan saja dari penjajah Kompeni, tetapi juga akibat bencana alam yang bertubi. Ketika pulang merampok di rumah Demang Asmara (El Manik), Bajing Ireng dicegat oleh Jaka Sembung (Barry Prima). Mengira sebagai orang bayaran Demang, Bajing Ireng terus saja menyerang Jaka Sembung. Setelah berhasil menjelaskan siapa dirinya sebenarnya, Bajing Ireng berbalik mengagumi ketangkasan Jaka Sembung yang bernama asli Parmin itu. Komandan Kompeni menjanjikan kedudukan Bupati kepada Demang Asmara, bila ia berhasil membekuk Jaka Sembung. Dengan licik Demang menangkap tetua rakyat Kandang Haur. Terpaksa Jaka Sembung tampil menyerahkan diri. Demang Asmara yang dilingkupi kekuatan para pengawalnya, tidak mudah dikalahkan. Belum lagi kekuatan dari Kompeni. Bajing Ireng tak gentar dan menerobos ke dalam penjara untuk membebaskan Jaka Sembung dari siksaan. Bersama rakyat menyerbu Kademangan , satu persatu para pengawal Demang dapat dikalahkan. Komandan Kompeni tewas dalam pertempuran sengit, sementara Demang Asmara menemui ajalnya di ujung keris kujangnya sendiri

Seorang wartawati Judith Stover dari World News Agency dari New York berusaha mewawancarai Roger Clark dari Multi Indah Corp(MIC). Stover mewawancarai Roger Clark karena sedang meneliti Laser Cannon. Stover curiga mengapa penelitian Laser Cannon justru dilakukan di Indonesia. Akan tetapi Stover tidak mendapatkan apa-apa dari wawancara tersebut karena Roger Clark tidak memberikan keterangan apapun. Akan tetapi Stover tidak putus asa. Ia bertemu seorang expatriate yang kebetulan juga bekerja di MIC. Laser Cannon akan di ujicobakan di tambang Kertawangi demikian tuan Clark meyakinkan kliennya tuan Saputra (Piet Burnama). Ratno Lesmana (Barry Prima) adalah salah satu pekerja di MIC. MIC akan menggunakan laser cannon untuk dapat digunakan untuk membelah batu di tambang Kertawangi, karena terdapat penambang yang terjebak di dalam terowongan.
Saingan MIC adalah perusahaan Protex Dallas. Perusahaan Protex di komandoi oleh Gals(John Philip Law) dan Purnomo (Dicky Zulkarnaen). Galls menyewa Yan Fancliff untuk membajak truk beserta isinya milik MIC yang di kemudikan oleh Ted Burners yang akan menuju tambang kertawangi. Anak buah Gals (Advent Bangun) selalu memantau keberadaan barang yang akan di berangkatkan ke Kertawangi. Dari mulai turun pesawat hingga naik ke sebuah truk. Sementara itu Stover berhasil mengendus niat buruk Gals setelah ia berhasil mewawancarainya dan meninggalkan tape recorder yang sengaja ditinggalkannya.
Akhirnya Stover berhasil mencari informasi dari orang sewaan Gals, Yan franscliff. Melalui Cliff, Stover berhasil memperoleh satu demi satu informasi yang diperoleh dengan memberikan sejumlah uang pada Cliff. Maka diketahuilah oleh Stover bahwa truk yang akan dibajak Cliff adalah truk yang dikendarai oleh Ted yang akan menuju Kertawangi.
Dilain pihak, Ted bersama Ratno Lesmana dan tuan Peter mulai berangkat membawa muatan truknya. Selama dalam perjalanan, anak buah Gals dri Protex Dallas selalu membuntutinya. Setelah seorang anak buah Gals gagal, lainnya menyusul dibelakannya bersama dengan Cliff. Selama dalam perjalanan, rintangan demi rintangan banyak terjadi.
Judith Stover yang sudah mengetahui niat busuk dari Cliff akhirnya menyusul truk yang dikemudikan oleh Ted dengan helicopter. Akhirnya Stover ikut serta dalam truk yang dikemudikan Ted. Jalan menuju Kertawangi bukanlah jalan mulus yang dengan mudah dilalui. Akan tetapi melalui medan yang berliku-liku. Jalannya pun seadanya, sehingga apapun yang ada didepan maka dengan terpaksa dilalui oleh truk meski dengan muatan yang besar. Ketika melewati sebuah jembatan kayu yang sudah rusak, terjadilah adu tembak dengan kelompok Cliff. Akan tetapi dengan berani, Ratno meladeni kelompok Cliff dan menghancurkan jembatan yang telah berhasil di lewatinya. Akan tetapi Ratno harus tertembak oleh Cliff, selanjutnya Ted, Stover dan Peter melanjutkan perjalanan ke Kertawangi. Ketika sedang berhenti karena malam, Ted dan kawan-kawan di serang oleh kelompok Cliff. Akan tetapi Ted akhirnya berhasil menanggulanginya dan selanjutnya meneruskan perjalanan.
Kali ini rintangan kembali dihadapi, karena jalanan yang akan dilalui telah dipasangi ranjau. Akan tetapi berkat pengalamannya, akhirnya Ted berhasil mengetahui bahwa jalan yang akan dilalui telah dipasangi ranjau. Akhirnya satu persatu ranjau yang telah dipasang ditemukan, dan Ted kembali melanjutkan perjalanan menuju Kertawangi untuk menolong korban yang terjebak di terowongan. Mengetahui korbannya berhasil selamat, Gals menyuruh anakbuahnya mengejar truk dengan helicopter. Akhirnya terjadilah baku tembak dari udara dengan helicopter dan dari darat oleh Cliff dan kawan-kawannya. Akan tetapi usahanya pun kembali gagal. Mengetahui kegagalan yang telah di lakukan anakbuahnya, di Jakarta Tuan Purnomo dan Tuan Gals terlibat adu pendapat hingga akhirnya Tuan Gals membunuh tuan purnomo.
Akhirnya Ted berhasil membawa truk dengan muatan laser cannon hingga ke Kertawangi. Akhirnya korban yang terjebak di terowongan berhasil diselamatkan

UFO - Destinazione Serie - Ed Bishop - Michael Billington
UFO è una serie televisiva britannica di fantascienza, ideata nel 1969 da Gerry Anderson e prodotta nel biennio 1969-70 dallo stesso Anderson e da sua moglie Sylvia per essere trasmessa dalla TV britannica Independent Television (ITV). Si trattò della prima serie televisiva realizzata con attori veri da Gerry Anderson, che era stato fino ad allora autore e produttore di alcune serie TV di successo realizzate con marionette, tra le quali Stingray e Thunderbirds. Meet Barry Thomas at the Wiford Gallery in Santa Fe, NM on the historic Canyon Road. Barry talks with Alla Prima about his passion and influences behind his work. A great interview to meet the Artist behind some amazing works.
During his painting trips in the mountains, Barry has been known to host elaborate dinners under the stars, inviting fellow artists, local (wherever that may be) town folk, and friends to enjoy a gourmet meal – complete with a private chef, white tablecloths, silver cutlery, fine wine and candelabras. It’s these experiences that Barry relishes – talking art or philosophy and breaking bread in the natural element of his beloved mountains.
Around the campfire, speaking with a slow southern drawl, he might tell you about his decades-long missionary work in Honduras. Or his travels through Europe, where he chased the light in Provence like his Impressionist predecessors. He might tell you about sailing and scuba diving in the British Virgin Islands, or about the triathlon he recently completed. Or he might tell you that the fatherless boy he mentored for years has earned a full football scholarship and become an All-American.
Barry is strongly influenced by the Spanish Impressionist Joaquin Sorrolla, for his ability to capture light. Swedish Impressionist Anders Zorn also influences Barry through his ability to handle the figure and his edges. Barry appreciates the works of Russian Impressionists Nicola Fechin – for his expressive brushstrokes, and Nikolai Timkov – for his landscapes and use of color. Study any of Barry’s paintings and his boundless energy and zest for life will be apparent. It is with the deliberate strokes of a master painter that he translates his fearless optimism using the rudimentary tools of paint, paintbrush and canvas. The work, once completed, reflects the creative genius of Barry Thomas – how he lives his life and creates his art.

Lucca, 18 marzo 2009. Intervista a Barry Purves durante Lucca Animation 2009. Inizia calcando le scene teatrali come organizzatore e attore dopo gli studi universitari a Manchester in teatro e civiltà greca (1973-76) ma, incontrato il mondo dell'animazione, non esita a preferire l'espressione corporea dei pupazzi considerandola più efficace rispetto a quella attoriale. Dal 1978 al 1986 nascono così cartoons e serie animate per ragazzi quali Chorlton and the wheelies, Cinderella, The pied piper of Hamelin, Dangermouse e The wind in the willows, per la Cosgrove Hall Productions. In seguito egli collabora per progetti pilota e spot con la Aardman, grazie alla quale, nel 1989, può dirigere il suo primo corto d'autore: Next. Dopo questa prima esperienza positiva, Purves fonda con Glenn Holberton la Bare Boards Productions, che gli permette di produrre sia pubblicità, sia film nominati agli OSCAR e ai BAFTA e pluripremiati dalle giurie di tutto il mondo: Screen Play (1992), il suo capolavoro, Rigoletto (1993), Achilles (1995), Gilbert & Sullivan: the very models (1998). Dal 1996 riprende la collaborazione con la Cosgrove Hall Productions, da cui nascono tra gli altri Brambly hedge, Postman Pat, Fifi and the flowertots e la recente serie di 52 episodi Rupert Bear - Follow the Magic (2005-2007). Contemporaneamente, in veste di scenografo e regista ritorna al teatro, suo primo amore, che a tutt'oggi persegue, e inizia anche il suo impegno nell'insegnamento. Degno di nota, poiché sperimentale, è invece Hamilton Mattress (2001), cortometraggio per i più piccoli, in cui diversamente dal solito si dedica interamente alla regia, attuando una metodologia di lavoro che affida ciascuna scena ad un solo animatore e permette che l'indole di ciascuno si esprima al meglio. Se dunque non è semplice definire quale sia la principale occupazione di Barry Purves, certo è invece come le molteplici esperienze si radunino nelle sue opere per creare un linguaggio unico e di rara bellezza. Nel suo cinema egli prende a prestito dalla mise en scène teatrale la coordinazione dei diversi linguaggi: scenografia e illuminotecnica, costumi e sound design, mimo, dizione e danza. Ma del teatro conserva soprattutto il rapporto con l'attore-pupazzo, individuo dai caratteri ben definiti, che viene però plasmato dalle sapienti mani del regista. Purves è conosciuto infatti, innanzitutto, come uno dei più grandi animatori di oggetti e pupazzi; famosa è la sua collaborazione a Mars Attacks! di Tim Burton (1996) e il lavoro di previa animazione del King Kong di Peter Jackson (2003), ma al suo attivo ci sono anche piu' di settanta spot pubblicitari, tra cui la simpatica anatra samurai nemica dei germi. Di questa professione Purves fa un'arte, colma di artigianalità e passione; continuo è il suo rifiuto del computer e costante il rimando al movimento manuale come sfida affascinante e tensione verso il realismo, privo però della immateriale perfezione del digitale. In fondo, sempre lo straordinaro amore per il suo lavoro lo porta a voler trasmetterne trucchi e segreti ai giovani. La fisicità del rapporto tra animatore e oggetto animato è però soltanto un aspetto della forte sensualità che contraddistingue i suoi lavori, in cui il fulcro dell'azione è sempre il sentimento. Esso ha mille e più risvolti nelle opere shakespeariane, è intriso di lussuria e morte nel Rigoletto, è erotico quanto tenero in Achilles, è pervaso da un pungente umorismo britannico in Gilbert & Sullivan ed assume ogni possible sfumatura nell'amore dei due protagonisti di Screen Play. I contrasti sono spesso portati all'esasperazione, l'uso dei colori, la sapiente scelta dei fondali, i punti di luce e le musiche create ad hoc contribuiscono a far risaltare il pathos, ma l'ossessione per la ricerca di nuove forme d'espressione in Purves non si ferma qui. In Screen play ad esempio, la narrazione è accompagnata dalla lingua dei gesti britannica e ogni frase sembra tratta da una poesia Haiku, mentre i protagonisti si muovono tra le complesse regole del teatro Noh e Kabuki. Il gesto è comunque e sempre fondamentale nella costruzione dell'azione. Un'ulteriore stratificazione di senso rintracciabile nei lavori di Purves è la riflessione sulle modalità della creazione artistica. Sia in Next che in Gilbert & Sullivan si ritrova tutta la difficoltà dell'artista nell'ottenere una committenza, nell'incontrare un produttore o ancora soltanto nell'avere un'occasione per mostrare il proprio estro. La vita del creativo è infatti un'incessante lotta etica tra le necessità del vivere e le pulsioni estetiche, tra produzione seriale e capolavoro.

The Flash - The cast and creative team behind The CW's highest-rated show of all time, The Flash, speed back to San Diego for their second Comic-Con appearance, bringing with them answers to many of the questions left unanswered in the jaw-dropping Season 1 finale. Following the defeat of Barry Allen's arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash quickly turned their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, which fans last saw consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but will he actually be able to save his city from impending doom?

Si trattò della prima serie televisiva realizzata con attori veri da Gerry Anderson, che era stato fino ad allora autore e produttore di alcune serie TV di successo realizzate con marionette, tra le quali Stingray e Thunderbirds. Inizialmente indirizzata al mercato anglosassone, composta di 26 episodi della durata di 50 minuti ciascuno, UFO fu trasmesso in Gran Bretagna dal 1970 e subito dopo negli USA.
L'edizione in lingua italiana fu trasmessa dalla Televisione svizzera di lingua italiana a partire dal 1970 con il titolo di Minaccia dallo spazio e a partire dal 1971 dalla RAI, con il nome originale di UFO. La serie è stata riproposta costantemente nel corso degli anni, da varie emittenti locali italiane e nuovamente in RAI a partire dal 1996, con video digitalmente restaurato, permettendo al pubblico di rivalutare la qualità della serie e degli effetti speciali. Nel 1999 l'allora network Tmc2 ripropone la serie con interviste ed approfondimenti nella rubrica Dr Futuro, ripristinando scene tagliate e trasmettendo gli episodi inediti in RAI in lingua originale sottotitolata. La serie è stata distribuita su DVD per l'home video anche in lingua italiana.
La programmazione della RAI le dedicò originariamente una fascia di ascolto dedicata al pubblico giovanile, in quanto di genere fantastico-fantascientifico, tuttavia la serie UFO divenne ben presto un cult soprattutto tra gli adulti. Il soggetto presenta situazioni non adatte ai giovanissimi, dove non mancano tensione, suspense, mistero e violenza seppure mai esplicitata nonché uno sfumato erotismo ravvisabile in molte scene e nelle divise delle protagoniste, un carattere sconosciuto alle produzioni nazionali dell'epoca, più convenzionali e conformistiche. Apprezzata e caratteristica la colonna sonora composta da Barry Gray. Visto il notevole budget ad essi dedicato, la produzione degli effetti speciali fu considerata d'avanguardia per l'epoca.
