A sleeveless shirt, singlet or vest, also known as a wife-beater, yankton or tank top (USA), is a shirt manufactured without sleeves, or one whose sleeves have been cut off. Sleeveless shirts are worn by either sex, depending on the style. They are often worn by athletes in sports such as track and field and triathlon. Sleeveless shirts have been popular warm-weather casual wear in the United States since the 1970s,^{[citation needed]} and are regarded as acceptable public casual dress in most warm weather locales. They are mostly preferred in hot climates, since the arm holes provide ventilation and the thin fabric provides comfort.

In American English, a tank top is a sleeveless garment that can be worn by either sex. It is often worn under the shirt as underwear, although more colorful bright and well-designed tank tops are usually worn as an outer shirt. The term is also used in Australian English, although the term singlet is usually used to refer to the garment, which likewise is an unused term in American English. In British English, the term vest is used, while tank top refers to a sleeveless pullover. The name tank top, recorded in English since 1968, is derived from its resemblance to a tank suit, a style of one-piece women's swimsuit with shoulder straps. Its name derives from the 1920s term swimming tank, which is an obsolete term for what is now called a swimming pool. The tankini – a portmanteau of the words tank top and bikini – is a women's swimming version of the tank top.

Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus; November 23, 1992) is an American actress and pop singer-songwriter. She achieved wide fame for her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana.

Cyrus recorded music for the soundtracks, Hannah Montana (2006) and Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), released by Walt Disney Records. With the success of the Hannah Montana franchise she established herself as a teen idol. In 2007, Cyrus signed to Hollywood Records to pursue a solo career. She embarked upon the Best of Both Worlds Tour the same year, in which she performed as both herself and in character as Hannah Montana. The tour was eventually turned into a high-grossing concert film titled Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (2008). In July 2008, Cyrus released her first solo album, Breakout (2008), which was commercially successful.

She began her foray into film by providing the voice of "Penny" in the animated film Bolt (2008). Cyrus earned a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for her performance of Bolt's theme song, "I Thought I Lost You". She also reprised her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009). The Hannah Montana: The Movie' soundtrack introduced her to new audiences within country and adult contemporary markets.

Gauri Khan (born Gauri Chhibber on 8 October 1970) is an Indian film producer, an interior designer and the wife of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, with whom she co-founded Red Chillies Entertainment, a film production and distribution company in 2002.

Gauri Khan is a Hindu, born into a Punjabi joint family in New Delhi, India where she grew up in a suburb called Rajinder Nagar. She did her schooling in Loreto Convent for 10 years and graduated from Modern School, New Delhi. She holds a degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College.

She met Shahrukh Khan in 1984 and married him before any of his films were released, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25 October 1991. They have two children, Aryan (Nov 1997) and Suhana (May 2000).

In 2002, together with Shahrukh Khan, Gauri founded the motion picture production and distribution company, Red Chillies Entertainment where she serves as the main producer. She became producer of Farah Khan's directorial debut, Main Hoon Na which launched her career as a director in Bollywood. The film did well at the box office, becoming the second highest grossing film of the year. Since then she has produced seven films for the company including some of the projects in which her husband is the main actor. She also made a guest appearance in Om Shanti Om (2007).
