Plot
A riveting thriller shot on location in Vancouver and South Africa, HUMAN CARGO is an unflinching look at the world of refugees in the post 9/11 world and of the people who sacrifice their lives to help or hinder them. This stark miniseries features an international cast, from Canada, South Africa, Nigeria, Palestine, and Turkey, including Oscar nominee, Kate Nelligan (The Prince of Tides), Nicholas Campbell(Da Vinci's Inquest), Bayo Akinfemi, Myriam Acharki,Cara Pifko, Nthati Moshesh, Sam Kalilieh. Six stories intersect explosively on the front lines of the world's refugee crises: At the Canada-U.S. border crossing, four Honduran boys are found dead in a produce truck, and Jerry Fischer, a committed refugee lawyer suddenly finds himself involved in an Afghani woman's refugee claim which forces him to choose between his family, his work, and his life. Nina Wade, an ambitious right-wing politician, goes down in flames in a federal by-election and is parachuted into the Refugee Board, where her racist views not only inflame her colleagues and the legal community, but eventually test the country's perception of itself. Helen Wade, Nina's daughter, disgusted by political machinations and on a mission to help others, signs up with an unproven relief agency and lands in a refugee camp, in central Africa, in the middle of an ethnic-driven conflict. In the same camp, Odette Kaba battles against the shifting hierarchies, disease, child-soldier recruitment, and starvation, to keep herself and her three young children alive. Ultimately, it is Odette's brother, Moses Buntu, after enduring torture and degradation, who escapes from Africa and files a refugee claim in Canada that threatens the moral foundations of the country.

Plot
The School for Scandal has many central characters that all play key roles in the complicated plots and subplots. Lady Teazle and her husband Sir Peter Teazle, who is in charge of a ward named Maria, are major players. Rawley and Sir Oliver Surface are friends of Sir Peter. Charles and Joseph Surface are Sir Oliver's nephews. Sir Oliver has been away in India. Lady Sneerwell and Snake are the schemers. Mrs. Candour, Mr. Crabtree, and his nephew Sir Benjamin Backbite are minor players who feed on gossip. At the start of the play Charles is in love with Maria, Joseph is in love with Maria, Sir Benjamin is in love with Maria, and Lady Sneerwell is in love with Charles. Charles has a horrible reputation for being a gambler and a ladies' man. Sir Peter hates Charles and loves his brother Joseph. Rawley loves Charles and hates his brother Joseph. Sir Oliver is coming to town secretly with the help of Rawley in order to see which of his nephews is worthy of his money. Sir Peter and Lady Teazle are having a hard time with their marriage because she is very young and he is older. Lady Sneerwell is plotting with Snake and Joseph to make Sir Peter think that Lady Teazel is having an affair with Charles, so that Maria will not love Charles so Lady Sneerwell can marry Charles and Joseph can marry Maria. The play really starts to go crazy when Sir Oliver arrives. He wants to test his nephews and see what kind of people they are so he has sent a letter from an imaginary distant relative, Mr. Stanley, asking for money. When Sir Oliver arrives he pretends to be a money lender, Mr. Premium. He goes to Charles and offers to buy all the portraits of his ancestors. Charles will sell all the portraits except the one of Sir Oliver. This pleases Sir Oliver and he then sets out to test Joseph. He goes to Joseph and pretends to be Mr. Stanley, asking for money. Joseph says no and shoos him away because he is preoccupied. While trying to woo Maria, Joseph inadvertently got Lady Teazle, so he invites her to his house. She comes over, but suddenly Sir Peter shows up. Lady Teazle hides behind a screen while Joseph tells Sir Peter that Charles is not having an affair with his wife. Charles comes and Sir Peter hides in a box so that he can hear that Charles is not guilty. Joseph also tells Sir Peter that he has a French lady behind the screen. Charles comes in and says he is not having an affair, but indicates that Joseph is. Charles finds out that Sir Peter is hiding in the box and calls him out. Then Joseph has to go out to deal with another guest. Sir Peter and Charles decide to look at the French girl that Joseph has in his house. They pull down the screen and Joseph comes back just in time to see that Lady Teazle has been revealed to Sir Peter. They all stand in silence until Lady Teazle tells Sir Peter how touched she is by all the things he said while she was hiding. They vow to improve the marriage. The gossips of the town try to decide if it was Joseph or Charles who was having the affair with Lady Teazle. They all come together at Joseph's house and Sir Oliver reveals himself. He tells how he prefers Charles to Joseph and then Lady Sneerwell tries to say that Charles has gotten her pregnant. Fortunately, Snake reveals the truth about all the schemes and clears Charles's name. Charles and Maria are to be married and all is well.

Moses (Hebrew: מֹשֶׁה, Modern Moshe Tiberian Mōšéh ISO 259-3 Moše; Greek: Mωϋσῆς Mōüsēs; Arabic: موسىٰ Mūsa) was, according to the Hebrew Bible and Qur'an, a religious leader, lawgiver and prophet, to whom the authorship of the Torah is traditionally attributed. Also called Moshe Rabbenu in Hebrew (מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ, Lit. "Moses our Teacher/Rabbi"), he is the most important prophet in Judaism, and is also considered an important prophet in Christianity and Islam, as well as a number of other faiths.
The existence of Moses as well as the veracity of the Exodus story is disputed amongst archaeologists and Egyptologists, with experts in the field of biblical criticism citing logical inconsistencies, new archaeological evidence, historical evidence, and related origin myths in Canaanite culture. Other historians maintain that the biographical details, and Egyptian background, attributed to Moses imply the existence of a historical political and religious leader who was involved in the consolidation of the Hebrew tribes in Canaan towards the end of the Bronze Age.
Xavier Kurt Naidoo (born October 2, 1971) is a German singer-songwriter, record producer and occasional actor. Born and raised in Mannheim, Naidoo worked in several jobs in the gastronomy and the musical industry before relocating to the United States in the early 1990s, where he released his first full-length English language-album Seeing Is Believing under his stage name Kobra in 1994. He currently resides in his native Germany.
After working as a backing vocalist for the Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt and 3P label mates Sabrina Setlur and Illmat!c, Naidoo released his first German language album Nicht von dieser Welt in 1998, for which he won an ECHO Award and an MTV Europe Music Award. Selling more than one million copies in total, it produced six singles, including "Seine Straßen." and "Sie sieht mich nicht," the latter of which served as the theme song for Astérix & Obélix Take on Caesar (1999). After his highly publicized departure from 3P, his third studio album Zwischenspiel – Alles für den Herrn was released in 2002. It spawned the top five hit singles "Wo willst du hin?" and "Abschied nehmen" and led to a collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan member and producer RZA, with whom he released his first number-one single "Ich kenne nichts (das so schön ist wie du)" in 2003.

He competed for Kenya at the 2004 Olympic Games and went on to take 10,000 metres bronze at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. It was in this occasion that he joined the management of the Italian Gianni Demadonna, and started to be coached by Renato Canova, that developed his talent from the youth category up to the current international level.
Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 – July 6, 1971), nicknamed Satchmo or Pops, was an American jazz trumpeter and singer from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Coming to prominence in the 1920s as an "inventive" cornet and trumpet player, Armstrong was a foundational influence in jazz, shifting the music's focus from collective improvisation to solo performance. With his instantly recognizable deep and distinctive gravelly voice, Armstrong was also an influential singer, demonstrating great dexterity as an improviser, bending the lyrics and melody of a song for expressive purposes. He was also greatly skilled at scat singing (vocalizing using sounds and syllables instead of actual lyrics).
Renowned for his charismatic stage presence and voice almost as much as for his trumpet-playing, Armstrong's influence extends well beyond jazz music, and by the end of his career in the 1960s, he was widely regarded as a profound influence on popular music in general. Armstrong was one of the first truly popular African-American entertainers to "cross over," whose skin-color was secondary to his music in an America that was severely racially divided. It allowed him socially acceptable access to the upper echelons of American society that were highly restricted for a black man. While he rarely publicly politicized his race, often to the dismay of fellow African-Americans, he was privately a strong supporter of the Civil Rights movement in America.[citation needed]
Diamonds, roses, I need Moses
to cross this sea of lonliness,
part this red river of pain.
I don't necessarily buy
any key to the future or hapiness
but I need a little place in the sun sometimes
or I think I'll die.
And everywhere is somewhere but nowhere is near.
Everybody's got somebody with their wine and their beer.
But I'm a tragic figure in the corner over here
with an empty apartment and a best friend who is queer. Heh.
Every time I see him he smiles
and tells me how well he's walking these miles.
But he never ever asks a single thing about me.
If I died he'd hear about it eventually.
Diamonds, roses, I need Moses
to cross this sea of lonliness,
part this red river of pain. Ohhh.
'Cause everywhere is somewhere and nowhere is near.
Everybody's got somebody with their wine and their beer.
And I'm a tragic figure in the corner over here
with my bills in the mailbox and some checks that won't clear this year.
Everywhere is somewhere and nowhere is near.
Everybody's got somebody with their wine and their beer.
So I'm just a tragic figure in the corner over here
who'll sleep it off 'til morning and still not know that we're,
we're all just diamonds and roses. I need Moses
to cross this sea of loneliness, part this red river of pain.
To cross this sea of loneliness, part this red river of pain.

Come on now, don't you want to see
This thing that's happening to me
Like Moses had power over sea
So you've got a power over me
Come on now, don't you want to know
You're a refuge, somewhere I can go
And you're air that, air that I can breathe
You're my golden opportunity
And oh, oh yes I would
If I only could
And you know I would
And baby I, oh baby I
Come on now, don't you want to see
Just what a difference you've made in me
And I'll be waiting no matter what you say
And I'll keep waiting for days and days and days
And oh, oh yes I would

And baby I, oh baby I
I wish, I wish
If the sky's gonna fall down, let it fall on me
If you're gonna break down, you can break on me

As you see [at] Ruler show€™s is inquirin' noses
Goin' into a story about a kid named Moses
Once a prophet was to be born, so for anything else furthered
Pharaoh orders every first-born son murdered
One got away, a girl with profit bound with her
Gently put him in a basket, went floatin' down the river
Then ends up by a Pharaoh relative ol' honey peeped in
Couldn't breed herself and was determined to keep him
"Don't say a word", she told her slave who was a real witch
"Snitch, it'll definitely be the last day you breathe bitch"
While kids slaughtered, 'cause they was [in] front of them
Soldiers tellin' the king that they murdered every one of them
"Thanks" said Pharoah, guys were a friend to him
Sister showin' her baby sayin' the river God sent him
To her brother who arose and said, "whoa sis"
Curious I suppose this, the upward knows about Moses
As time passed he proved he wasn't the type to beg or borrow
Grew to conquer lands like ain't no tomorrow
Made the Sun King jealous 'cause he couldn't do what Mo' did
"Pops I'm not to happy the way y'all jockin' this Mo' kid"
"Son, this rash behavior ruins every feast or bash"
"And why complain, now where's the temple I asked you to build, you piece of trash?"
"Two of you switch... Mo' you build it and you'll find a supreme hero"
"Built it, anything else, you need Pharaoh?"
King hears startin' to shares my crown
One said, "How can he?"
But sister not takin' any chance and threw the hooker off the balcony
But word still got to King, who then cold cursed Blessed
Stripped him of his honors and dumped him in the desert
But Mo' returned for the people, with his chest stiff out saw
King said, "You want war? Make brick without straw"
That's a son not being king, the shorty no good rose his
Unhappy I suppose this, the upward knows about Moses
The new King said, "As for your threats, brother stuff it"
"Boy, what do I do now?" prayed the Prophet
Then a vision said "chill" and prophecy filled
Scorn build, hails the fire, all their first-born killed
It was gettin' scary for the king, this made the sufferin' go by merrier
"You win, take these peasants, get the flock out of my area"
Poor villain, still in heat, didn't want Mo' to fulfill 'em
Wasn't chillin', "then I flat send the troop to go and kill him"
So Mo' parts the sea, went across and said "run" and
Did some ol' abracadabra and water fell upon 'em
The soldiers that is, since Moses was suaver
Then Mo' in the mountains havin' a convo with the father
Came back with the tens, seen pantyhose droppin', partner swappin'
Folks wasn't into what po' Mo was poppin'
So the Earth shook and killed those, bible text closes
Talked about a time when idle worshippin' foes had met Moses
Moses, Moses
Don't you let King Pharaoh overtake you
Moses, Moses
Don't you let King Pharaoh overtake you
Moses, Moses
Don't you let King Pharaoh overtake you
In some lonesome graveyard
I hear the chariot coming
I hear the chariots coming
I hear the chariot coming
In some lonesome graveyard
Moses, Moses
I hear the horses running
Moses, Moses
I hear the horses running
Moses, Moses
I hear the horses running
In some lonesome graveyard
I hear the Jordan rolling
I hear the Jordan rolling
I hear the Jordan rolling
In some lonesome graveyard
Moses, Moses

Moses, Moses

I just seen something its undescribale
its undeniable for all of what it means
i just want one thing, for all the world to see
to plant a growing seed so you dont fade to dust
and my eyes are burning up, and it never was enough
there is nothing more to say, theres no way you'd let me stay
im about to lose my breath, sure enough will lead to death
don't deserve to hear your voice, don't deserve to see you
i am too ashamed, its ver frightening
its like a lightning that strikes you day in day
but one thing remembered i do on december
month after september like every one member
unlike the pretenders i know you
and my eyes are burning up, and it never was enough
there is nothing more to say, theres no way youd let me stay
im about to lose my breath, sure enough will lead to death
don't deserve to hear your voice, don't deserve to see you
and i wanna meet you half way
and i wanna love you everyday
and i will be here to stay
and i will never run a stray
and my eyes are burning up, and it never was enough
there is nothing more to say, theres no way youd let me stay
im about to lose my breath, sure enough will lead to death
Every once and a while I start to contemplate...
how a person like me could be used by the great God.
Then I look to those who lived before me,
in their imperfections they showed Gods glory.
Moses and the burning bush everybody knows
that he was always doubting what God could do.
Gideon could never understand how God could use, an itty bitty man like me.
(repeat)
How can God ever use me. I'm just a nobody.
He sees everything about me.
What can He see in me. What can he see in me. What can he see in me.
Peter said at one time I will not fall away even if the consequence of death
is what I pay.
Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times saying I do not know
this man he is no friend of mine.
Paul stood by as Stephen died and gave his support. Even when the rocks were
thrown he showed no remorse.
Beat down till he was dead. Paul, what a wretched man I am.
How can God ever use me. I'm just a nobody.
He sees everything about me.
What can He see in me. What can He see in me. What can He see in me.
