Dualism (from the Latin word duo meaning "two") denotes a state of two parts. The term 'dualism' was originally coined to denote co-eternal binary opposition, a meaning that is preserved in metaphysical and philosophical duality discourse but has been diluted in general or common usages. Dualism can refer to moral dualism, (e.g. the conflict between good and evil), mind-body or mind-matter dualism (e.g. Cartesian Dualism) or physical dualism (e.g. the Chinese Yin and Yang).
Moral dualism is the belief of the great complement or conflict between the benevolent and the malignant.
Like ditheism/bitheism (see below), moral dualism does not imply the absence of monist or monotheistic principles. Moral dualism simply implies that there are two moral opposites at work, independent of any interpretation of what might be "moral" and - unlike ditheism/bitheism - independent of how these may be represented.
—which is also uncreated—is an absolute one. Zurvanism (Zurvanite Zoroastrianism), Manichaeism and Mandaeism, are representative of dualistic and monist philosophies since each has a supreme and transcendental First Principle from which the two equal-but-opposite entities then emanate. This is also true for the lesser-known Christian gnostic religions, such as Bogomils, Catharism, and so on. More complex forms of monist dualism also exist, for instance in Hermeticism, where Nous "thought" - that is described to have created man - brings forth both good and evil, dependent on interpretation, whether it receives prompting from the God or from the Demon. Duality with pluralism is considered a logical fallacy.
John Rogers Searle (born July 31, 1932, in Denver, Colorado) is an American philosopher and currently the Slusser Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. Searle's father, G. W. Searle, an electrical engineer, was employed by AT&T, while his mother, Hester Beck Searle, was a physician. John Searle began his college education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and subsequently became a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, where he earned an undergraduate degree and a doctorate in philosophy and ethics.
In the 1950s, as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin, Searle was the secretary of "Students against Joseph McCarthy" (McCarthy was then the junior Senator from Wisconsin).

["Opposition is true friendship." - W. Blake]
Involuntarily silent I fade into you.
My voice goes unheard, near you I am mute.
I know there's a way to make it through this,
then my silence is worth, silence worth a wish.
I wanted to have a look on the inside,
to see if it's safe, if only for a while.
Any time at day this feeling might come,
any time at night it might be gone again.
Staring off into space, speaking words in random.
I sing, I cry, I spy, I lie, I grow, I shrink, I soar, I sink.
Facedown in the spiral of shame,
weak and melting, tension's building all around.
A deceiving secrecy encircles and frightens me.
An eye for an eye never made so blind.
A stake for a spine and find the fear where love is lust.
I reach out and seize to bury it back into me.
Streaming through the colour of you.
A cripple love is taking life.
We fought in vain to shelter our souls,
but failed to jump over our own shadow.
Before the rising sun, before the clouds and storms…it lived.
Within the Human form, an ancient power…The secrets of Magic
They learned and forged, and this way they became the wisest beings of all
But telling right from wrong, their eternal weakness, would turn it against their own
Two human wizards with powerful might
Now defending the sides of both shadows and light
Fighting for Freedom…
The white wizard was unaware of the betrayal Avathar prepared
And with the help of the three wise men he cast a spell and trapped him in a cell
And so the magic that once set him free was now the accomplice of his capture
But they did not know that the great Origryn could join the energy of Cosmos
One with the essence of Magic
He mastered space and time
Now freedom lights in his soul
He must warn our God the betrayal of all
I feel on my wings the presence of evil
Through Dark and Light I’ll fight no matter what
I don’t fear any spell, I am one with God ‘s Power
Through Dark and Light I’m Justice!
Darkness fills the skies, Heaven’s desperate cries…I hear…
Evil takes its course, faster I must go; I can’t let down my God!
One with the essence of Magic
Now courage burns in his anxious soul
Invoke the spirits above
He must warn our God the betrayal of all
I feel on my wings the presence of evil
Through Dark and Light I’ll fight no matter what
I don’t fear any spell, I am one with God’s Power
Through Dark and Light I’m Justice!
