Plot
It's 1649: Mazarin hires the impoverished D'Artagnan to find the other musketeers: Cromwell has overthrown the English king, so Mazarin fears revolt, particularly from the popular Beaufort. Porthos, bored with riches and wanting a title, signs on, but Aramis, an abbé, and Athos, a brawler raising an intellectual son, assist Beaufort in secret. When they fail to halt Beaufort's escape from prison, the musketeers are expendable, and Mazarin sends them to London to rescue Charles I. They are also pursued by Justine, the avenging daughter of Milady de Winter, their enemy 20 years ago. They must escape England, avoid Justine, serve the Queen, and secure Beauford's political reforms.

Plot
King Louis XIII of France is thrilled to have born to him a son - an heir to the throne. But when the queen delivers a twin, Cardinal Richelieu sees the second son as a potential for revolution, and has him sent off to Spain to be raised in secret to ensure a peaceful future for France. Alas, keeping the secret means sending Constance, lover of D'Artagnan, off to a convent. D'Artagnan hears of this and rallies the Musketeers in a bid to rescue her. Unfortunately, Richelieu out-smarts the Musketeers and banishes them forever. Richelieu enlists D'Artagnan to look after and protect the young prince. Meanwhile, de Rochefort learns of the twins and Richelieu's plans, and kidnaps the twin, raising him in secret. Many years later, with Richelieu dead and the young prince crowned King Louis XIV, Rochefort launches his plan. The king is kidnapped, replaced with his twin, put in an iron mask so as not to be recognized, and led off to a remote castle to be held prisoner. Louis XIV is able to alert D'Artagnan, who realizes that only his friends Athos, Porthos, and Aramis can help him, so he reunites the Musketeers to derail Rochefort's nefarious plot but at a heavy toll.

The Further Adventures of "The Three Musketeers"!
Porthos: Come on! There is greater adventure beyond.
Louis XIV was an American rock band from San Diego, California. The band released four EPs between 2003 and 2007, and three albums between 2003 and 2008, the latter two of which were distributed by Atlantic Records.
Lead singer and guitarist Jason Hill, guitarist Brian Karscig, and drummer Mark Maigaard formed the group in April 2003, while living in Paris, France. Bassist James Armbrust joined soon after.
Louis XIV, the band's first album, was recorded in the Spring of 2003 in a basement in the Spanish district in Paris on a 16-track tape machine. It was released in November 2003 through Pineapple Recording Group, a label started by Hill and Karscig. The album sold over 22,000 copies in the first six months after release, despite being sold only at shows, on the band's website, and in some independent record stores. The album became popular in the UK in 2004, after the band performed on the Jonathon Ross television show one week after Oasis. The band also performed on the Mary Hobbs show on BBC Radio 1. They were embraced by Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme at the 2004 NME Awards.

[May I bring you up to date?
We are living in the 20'th century not in the 1800's.
May I bring you up to date, sir?
We are not alive at all.]
This isn't Napoleon this isn't Bonaparte this is fate
This isn't Josephine she's still in the tent
This isn't the Holy Mother Mary on the balcony of Judas
This is Louis, Louis the sun king
Louis Quatorze he was the fire king
He had disgrace there was no finer prince
He had this whole department structured up in Maine
This is Louis, Louis the sun king
He sacked the Pope who played the pawn in Venezuela
In Venezuela they have lots of cocaine
The cocaine drug is sending people to their magic maker
But when I come home it's what I want
Emperors and gender benders dictate
What's going on
I'm going to seek and find and spend my favourite dollar
This isn't Napoleon or one of his divine illusions
This isn't Napoleon this isn't fate this isn't drugs
This is Louis, Louis the sun king
I'm getting sick of all the history and facts
I'm going to sail a boat and never coming back
I'm going to trash the Pope and bury his career
And sail this boat into the Southern Hemisphere
You know they say the grass is always greener on the other side
I know it's not true I've been there and I'm dying to get back
The grease from grass is born of peace then worn away
My name's Napoleon I didn't know that
This isn't Napoleon (Venezuela!)
And Venezuela's vacant
Venezuela's peeking holding jewels up to the West
They say the grass is greener on the other side
I know it's not true
And I've been there and I want to get back
I'm getting sick of all the history and facts
I'm going to sail a boat and never coming back
I'm going to trash the Pope and bury his career
And sail this boat into the Southern Hemisphere
[May I bring you up to date? I am up to date]
This isn't Napoleon this isn't fate this isn't rhyme
This is a story of times that we had sight
This is Louis, Louis the sun king
Louis Quatorze, Louis XIV, Louis revolting
He wore his faith abused his wealth in the years 1600's
14,000 men, 14,000 horses withdrew their labours
And here we go into the principality of Paris
We burn the palace and shoot the people with the sour faces
The sour faces have got the people's innocence in their hands
And this dirty, filthy palace has still got no truth
We storm the palace on the 4th and 5th amendements
My name's Napoleon, I didn't breed there
They say the grass is greener on the other side
Well, I've been there...

Well there's a house on the block that's empty now that Dominique's gone
Now her dogs are alone and there's no one to watch her TV
Dear Dominique I wrote to tell you you're delightful
Still I know want a strangle or a mouth full
Of gasoline or to be tied up and stoned
I wrote to tell you that I hope you're feeling better

Written in blood and in your own handwriting

Well 13524 Park and East Boulevard
Your last stroll down the block was in the trunk of a car
I must admit that we never thought you'd go this far
Dear Dominique well I hope you're feeling better
You look so cute writing out your own death letter
Well now there's no one to watch your TV

All the little pieces come apart
All the little pieces of your heart
I look at all the children
whose hearts are strong
running down the streets like nothings wrong
I look at all the frineds I knew
Now some have changed
Some I know will always be the same
Nobody knows what happens when the moon blew now
Nobody knows, Nobody knows
That all the little pieces come apart
All the little pieces of your heart
All the little pieces come apart
All the little pieces of your heart
If you happen to look away from the people
and you feel the prick from pins and the needles
all which have been stuck into your arms
and all of your cries have been false alarms
and you can't pick up the pieces
no, you can't pick up the pieces
awwwwww....
I look at all the children whose hearts are strong
Running down the streets like nothings wrong
I look at all the friends I've known
Some have changed
Some will always stay same
Nobody know that all the little pieces
all the little pieces
all the little pieces come apart
all the little pieces of your heart
all the little pieces
all the little pieces
all the little pieces come apart
all the little pieces of your heart
Ah chocolate girl, you’re looking like something I want
(finding out true love is blind)
Ah and your little Asian friend she can come if she wants
(finding out true love is blind)
I want all the self conscious girls who try to hide who they are with makeup
(finding out true love is blind)
You know it’s the girl with a frown with the tight pants I really want to shake up
(finding out true love is blind)
Hey, carrot juice, I wanna squeeze you away until you bleed
(finding out true love is blind)
And your vanilla friend, well she looks like something I need
(finding out true love is blind)
I want miss little smart girl with your glasses and all your books
(finding out true love is blind)
And I want the stupid girl who gives me all those dirty looks
(finding out true love is blind)
Wind you up and make you crawl to me
Tie you up until you call to me
Ah brown girl with those with the hot pants shaking that thing on the street
(finding out true love is blind)
Yeah and the short girls with the way they crawl knocks me off my feet
(finding out true love is blind)
And all the tough girls who never want me to see them cry
(finding out true love is blind)
And the girls who straight treat me like a dog until the day I die
(finding out true love is blind)
Ah chocolate girl, you’re looking like something I want
Ah and your little Asian friend well she can come if she wants
I want all the self conscious girls who try to hide who they are with makeup

You keep on telling me these pretty lies
Well I’m just a man and want you instead of the drugs that get me high
You keep on telling me these pretty lies
Well I’m just a man and want you instead of the drugs that get me high
You’re all around me like a freight elevator
You put things in me and say I’ll see you later
Every time I raise the courage up to talk
My teacher says go to the board with a piece of chalk
I’ll never talk out of turn again in class
Will it be alright if I see you tonight
Well, I feel like a bird in a cage
For you to notice me, Well I’d take out a knife
Suicide right on the stage
I’m like a fish on a hook
Water splash into the brook
Well, teacher says she’s twice my age
Hey teacher could you ease my pain
I can only watch you so long
I can only watch you so long, so long
You keep on telling me these pretty lies
Well I’m just a man and want you instead of the drugs that get me high
You keep on telling me these pretty lies
Well I’m just a man and want you instead of the drugs that get me high
I’ll never talk out of turn again in class
Will it be alright if I see you tonight
Well, I feel like a bird in a cage

Hey teacher could you ease my pain
I can only watch you so long
I can only watch you so long, so long
I can only watch you so long
I can only watch you so long, so long
If you want to take my body tonight
Then you got to be somebody tonight
Use me just to make your body feel right
If you want to take my body tonight
Well God killed the Queen
My body tonight
Well God killed the Queen
My body tonight
Load it
I think I'm seeing double
I think I'm seeing double
God takes time and money
I think I'm seeing double
He never made a dime on me
I think I'm seeing double
If you want to take my body tonight (I think I'm seeing double)
Then you got to be somebody tonight (I think I'm seeing double)
Use me just to make your body feel right
(I think I'm seeing double)
God killed the Queen
For case up (I'll probably take)
well count it
well count it
well count it (My body tonight)
well count it
Well I don't know what I'm doing here
She shoots him
Load it
God says I'm on it
(I think I'm seeing double)
God takes time on it
(I think i'm seeing double)
He never gave a dime on it
(Wait till you're seeing it)
I think I'm seeing double
I think I'm seeing double
Use me just to make your body feel right
(I think I'm seeing double)
Well God killed the Queen
I'm free as the bees
I do as I please
In the days, between the hours
I'll build you up, like ivory towers
Go down
Watch'em all fall down
Watch'em all fall down
Watch'em all fall down
'Cause your outta my head some
Lick the wounds off your lips
Confuse you with your conscience
Perverse you with a hiss
Well swarm, baby swarm
Pack your bees, into the hive
You're a mouse, in the field
When the hawk, ready to dive
Down
Watch'em all fall down
Watch'em all fall down
Watch'em all fall down
I can’t be so sweet to you…
Come on by me, you look so good you know, you look so
good for the summer
I wanna stroke your ego, and dress you like a prom
queen while you’re hanging tight on my attitude
Well hold back, show me something
Hey girl!
Can you tell me something?
Every time I stumble your tiny face I see, you might
just make a cheater out of me
Glass on the carpet, your legs on the couch
And all you wanted is my love in your mouth
You’re so bedable, such a little acceptable, well
possibly incredible
I want fun.........upsetable?
I wanna taste you like you’re fucking edible
I can’t be so sweet to you, until I find the right
excuse
I can’t be so sweet to you
Cathedral ceiling, chandeliers, eleven diamonds hanging
from your ears
Eyes like colored pencils, drawing into me
Every time I struggle you’re the only face I see
Taking pictures of herself with her phone
Click, click sugar stick, leave the queer alone
Around the corner, confidentially, you might just make
a cheater out of me
I can’t be so sweet to you, until I find the right
excuse
I can’t be so sweet to you
I can’t be so sweet to you, until I find the right
excuse
I can’t be so sweet to you
So we’re driving uptown in a taxi
You know something? Well girl you better ask me
Well take your clothes off, let the driver watch
Look in the rearview mirror push the locks
2, 4, 6, 8 who do you appreciate? ME ME ME ME ME!
Every time I stumble it’s your tiny face I see
You might just make a cheater out of me
4, 5, 6, 8 who do you appreciate? ME ME ME ME ME!
Every time I stumble it’s your gorgeous face I see, you
might just make a traitor out of me
I can’t be so sweet to you until I find the right
excuse
I can’t be so sweet to you until I find the right
excuse
Well it's a shame about Monday
It starts when it ends
You've got all of your workdays to play with your
friends
You're blacker than laquer
And smarter than Jean
And when you drink too much you're condescending and
mean
Well I saw you leaving the other night
With a dark haired guy on a motorbike
And all my friends say they saw you drunk in the clubs
Talking really loud about how you're in love
Hey Tina
You're much meaner
Than you ever
Were to me before
You're so bitchy
You make me itchy
Can't you just tell me I'm some more
And more
And more
So much more
Now it's already Wednesday
Tuesday never came
The first three days always feel the same
You see your weekend coming and start planning your fun
You can't get excited till your week is done
Raise your glass to your mouth but don't take a sip
Just touch the glass to your vile lip
All the guys at the bar keep staring you down
Just another see through guy in town
Hey Tina
You're much meaner
Than you ever
Were to me before
You're so bitchy
You make me itchy
Can't you just tell me I'm some more
And more
And more
So much more
Well on and on and on and on
I don't want to wait till our drinks are done
On and on and off and on
Can't we just take a little bit of time to get on
Hey Tina
You're much meaner
Than you ever
Were to me before
You're so bitchy
You make me itchy
Can't you just tell me I'm some more
Hey Tina
You're much meaner
Than you were to me before
You're so bitchy
You make me itchy
Can't you just tell me I'm some more
And more
Ah bang a gong or get it on
We don't need to take off our clothes to get it on
Pull your skirt up a little bit
Pull down your top and show me a little tit
I said hey short girl you're like a midget
You can turn a phone cord into a widget
She said you son of a bitch you little bitch
I ain't gonna show you my love without a hitch
I said hey hold up sugar just one at a time
Show me yours baby I'll show you mine
She said oh you're so pathetic
yeah well so...you're so magnetic
I said hold up girl I know your game
Ah you want a sugar daddy you can tame
I said sing, sing me a song
And bang me like the girls in Hong Kong
I know I know I ain't correct
But politics are so much better when there's sex
I said rollover do me a trick
Do it with your shoes on it'd be a kick
Ah tell me the horse that you pick
Let me buy you a lollipop you want to lick
She said Does that shit work with other girls
If it does, why don't you find one of them to give you twirls
My love cost pearls
ah does it baby - you don't say
She said hold up I know your game
You want a paper doll that you can tame
I said sing, sing me a song she said well
touch me like the boys
that did me wrong
you know it's ok, it's alright
you are pretentious
with the lights off
you got your paper jeans
and your tummy tuck
you use fucking as an adjective
but you cant save time in a bank for kids.
well you wont stop talking when im trying to bang your
friend.
but i love you so much ill wait until the end.
you keep nagging me dont stop until you scream
cuz lovely little girls aren't always what they seem.
sometimes you just have to be alone?
sometimes you just have to be alone
you are pretentious
with the lights off
you got your paper jeans
and your tummy tuck
you use fucking as an adjective
but you cant save time in a bank for kids.
sometimes you just have to be alone?
sometimes you just have to be alone
you use fucking as an adjective

hey, you cash on the barrel-head and get on the floor
and all the rest of you away from the door
and everything that you ever thought would come true
i've got news for you..
all the cash on the barrel-head
you never thought you'd be doing this ever
i don't know why you think you can talk to me
in such an uncivil tone
i should peel back the skin from an orange
' remember how you got all o' this
well all of this.. is stiff of coming true
chorus:
there's nothing you can do to change it
you dont have to do the crime to do the time
its just guilt by association
i've been thinking to myself
there's something we should be afraid about
are you starting to figure out
that you're never going home?
(going home...)
all alone, but from what i see fit
there's nothing you can do to change it
you dont have to do the crime to do the time
its just guilt by association
[generic guitar solo]
(chorus repeat x 2.5)
i'll stop you right here
i've got something to say
everything they deserve today
is going to come true..
how 'bout you?
no, you never thought you'd be in this place right here
where we're at
well there's something you must confront right now, now
dont you wish you could
take it
dont you wish you could change the way i feel
dont you wish you could look into my eyes
and make me feel
you're going to make me feel
Why do I have to be such a drag?
Or am I just spitting venom?
Maybe I'm just out of line
If I haven't yet, baby just give me time
Did it break your heart?
Do I break your heart?
Put a needle in my vain and I fall apart
Put a needle in my vain and I fall apart
Is it something you miss?
Did you sign up to die for this?
Watch your soldier the human cause
The gerneral gave the order because the politicians
want some money for alls
Corruption kills
Greed kills the young at heart
Put the cash in their hands and they fall apart
Why do I have to be such a drag?
Or am I just spitting venom?
Maybe I'm just out of lines
If I haven't yet, baby just give me time
Did it break your heart?
Do I break your heart?
Put a needle in my vain and I fall apart
Put a needle in my vain and I fall apart
Will you die in the sand?
Will you die in the hands of the men that never knew
you?
Corruption kills the young at heart
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Is it something you miss?
Did you sign up to die for this?
Watch your soldier the human cause
Used to be
(That you didn't...)
Used to be
Stick a knife in his heart
He stuck a knife in his heart
Put a needle in my vain and I fall apart
I'm taking a walk through the chapel royal
I'm here every day as far as I can tell
It's here where I come alive, the mirrors won't tell a
I'm lookin' back at me, I'm lookin' back at me
I look at the wall and the others the same
When I ask, "Who is God?" something echoes my name
So beautiful, chauvenistic, and vain
I call it true love, but you call me insane
The Hall of Mirrors
Hall of Mirrors, I come alive
I question the architect, Houdin Mansart
I this hall is torn down, it will tear me apart
He said, "We'll add more mirrors."
I said, "That's a good start, uh-huh."
I look at my reflection and the others the same
When I ask, "Who is God?" something echoes my name
So elegent, chauvenistic, and vain
I call it self-adored, but you still call me insane
Hall of Mirrors
Hall of Mirrors
La la la la la
La la la la
La la la la la
This soul has not yet been taken
Could I request it back at once gratefully
The sky's so blue
It's an ocean
An ocean with all sorts of life in it
But me
Why did you have to go away?
Why did you have to go away?
Mother, you'd scream at the king
Like he's a servant from day one
And you created a hole in his solid stability
You knocked him clear off his limestone rocker
Now he has left all this kingdom to me
And I'm so afraid to rule alone
Now this kingdom, your closet, I`m locked in
Is now my home
Daddy, why suicide?
Why couldn't you just cry instead?
Daddy, why suicide?
Why couldn't you just cry instead?
Daddy, why suicide?
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Still I can't seem to look at you
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Again. Shadows up
The watch going
The phone rings off
In the car lurking
See me through the window and
You lay down on your bed
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Still I can't seem to look at you
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
(I'm getting to you)
'Cause I'm loose slide
A knife through
Back door locked bolt through
Sleeping softly, holding pillows
Tightly in your arms
I sneak up without a sound
Down the hall to your bedroom
Twist the knob stand above you
As you lay there in your bed
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
Still I can't seem to look at you
I can stare at you all night and you won't even notice
I took off all your clothes
See all your face
Until the pillow slightly saw you
As you breathe gasping holding air tigt like it's your last
Put my lips on your mouth
Feel your lips on my fingers
Smell you saw you
You're looking lovely my possesion
Again. Shadows up
The watch going
Phone rings off
Car lurking
See me through the window and
You lay down on your bed
Ah little Stacy Q
When she doesn't have a thing to do
She comes to my house
Well, let's keep that between me and you
She takes off her clothes
She likes to tell this boy what to do
Let's keep that between me and you, ok
She said oh come on boy aren't you tired of talking about sex
I said little girl what do you really expect
And then she pledges her allegiance
To the united states of me
She says you're such a little bitch
She says head case head case
Turn that thing around
Let's play a game when you hear me make a sound
Just go quite a bit faster
Pretend that I'm gagged and bound
Oh how I love to hear that sound
Milkshake milkshake I love to feel you sweat
We don't have to go to the pool
If you want me to make you wet
Can you keep a secret
Because the best little secrets are kept
And you're my best little secret yet
Well, kit kat kit kat kitten you're the kicks
She said let me feel your love
I mean come on make it stick
I'm the best of your little baby chicks
oh you're my sweet tooth sugar fix
tick tock tick tock oh baby forget the clock
You don't have to do a thing
and you know I like your baby talk
Just make sure to close the shades and turn the lock
A milkshake milkshake I love to feel you sweat
We don't have to go to the pool
If you want me to make you wet
But can you keep a secret
Because the best little secrets are kept
Ah little Stacy Q
When she doesn't have a thing to do
She comes to my house
Well, let's keep that between me and you
She takes off her clothes
She likes to tell this boy what to do
Let's keep that between me and you, ok?
She said oh come on boy aren't you tired of talking about sex
I said little girl what do you really expect?
And then she pledges her allegiance
To the united states of me
She says you're such a little bitch
She says head case head case
Turn that thing around
Let's play a game when you hear me make a sound
Just go quite a bit faster
Pretend that I'm gagged and bound
Oh how I love to hear that sound
Milkshake milkshake I love to feel you sweat
We don't have to go to the pool
If you want me to make you wet
Can you keep a secret
Because the best little secrets are kept
And you're my best little secret yet
Well, kit kat kit kat kitten you're the kicks
She said let me feel your love
I mean come on make it stick
I'm the best of your little baby chicks
oh you're my sweet tooth sugar fix
tick tock tick tock oh baby forget the clock
You don't have to do a thing
And you know I like your baby talk
Just make sure you close the shades and turn the lock
A milkshake milkshake I love to feel you sweat
We don't have to go to the pool
If you want me to make you wet
But can you keep a secret
Because the best little secrets are kept
Ah little Stacy Q
When she doesn't have a thing to do
She comes to my house
We keep hiding up all our Easter eggs
For reasons we just can't say
We're keep hiding up all our money
When the tax man comes to prey
We keep hiding and hiding and hiding
All our bits and precious barbs
We're hiding all our freckles
Our wrinkles and dead-end jobs
We keep hiding and hiding and hiding
From all our hope and fear
Until hate boils through us
And there's no one left to care
Well we hide from what we want
So Poisonous and so concerned
Oh we hide from even our thoughts
Until they come around again
I can't see
What you've done
Let me [x2]
All for one
We all come out to play [x3]
Well we duck and we dodge
With pocketed cover
All our scraps and ticks
Hiding up all our lusts for needs
So they won't know our kicks
We keep hiding and hiding and hiding
Under blankets inside our bed
We nervously chew up our pencils
Until our teeth are stained of lead
We keep nestling to people like teddy bears
Because the good book said
Well he who holds to soft things won't die before their
dead
All for one
I can't see
What you've done
Let me [x2]
We all come out to play [x2]
I can't see
What you've done
Let me
We all come out to play
All for one
We keep hiding and hiding and hiding
From robbers and from cops
Hiding our paranoid fits
Snaps, Cracks, and Pops
Well we hide from what we want
So naive and drenched in sin
We hide from even our thoughts
Until they come around again
So we nervously chew up our pencils
Until our teeth are stained of lead
And Me who holds to soft things won't die before I'm
Well I'm a weapon of mass destruction
Got no apologies for a hyper concussion
I might swipe your identity
Take your love and turn it into obscenity
You say that I don't care about
All the little things that you care about
Oh you think that I don't care about
All the little things that make you want to shout
Ah, me me me me is all you say that I care about
Me me me me is all i ever want to talk about
Me me me me is what you think that i care about
Me me me me is all i really want to talk about
I'll steal your soul
Put you in a club in Cleveland
Well I'm a portal into blue collar human psychology
I need a fix i don't need no apology
And all the kids on the street
They think I'm neat neat neat neat neat, well
Ah - me me me me is all you think that i care about
Me me me me is all i ever want to talk about
Me me me me is what you think that i care about
Me me me me is all i ever want to talk about
Who's your daddy?
Well it’s a minor altercation
Despite your hesitation
By all agrees that you will see how we’re causing quite a sensation
So publication of needing motivation
Your mother says it’s OK outside the subway station
You’re taking off your stripes
Even your knees are nice
I’ll tease you with a knife until you’re screaming for your life
I think so too
And you surrender
Can I spend you up? you’re my illegally illegal tender
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that will love me like no other
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that knows I love her like no other
Well it’s a minor altercation
Despite your hesitation
And apart the contrary and impending accusation
Cinematography that you’re willing but happy to see
A scene that stars you and a girl, you’re both on top of me
I looked into your eyes
And pushed your buttons and levers
You said you’d see until we agree and kindly said whatever
And you like my loving better
Cause’ you said so in a letter, that said return to sender
My illegally illegal tender
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that will love me like no other
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that knows I love her like no other
It takes a lover
Two in the pocket is better than three
Two in the pocket is better than three
It’s better than three
Two in the pocket is better than three
And three in the pocket is better than four
And five in the pocket is better than six
And put them together then pick up the sticks
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that will love me like no other
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that knows I love her like no other
It takes a lover, it takes a lover
It takes a lover that will love me like no other
It takes a lover, it takes a lover

A heart flutter
And I shutter

(How come I can? t let you go?)
Hopesick
Hopesick
If it was so hard to hope
How come I can? t let you go?
If it was so hard to hope
How come I can? t let you go?
A heart flutter

A hand shake
A heart break
Hopesick

(Hopesick, hopesick)
From a rope
(Hopesick, hopesick)
From a string
Hopesick

Well, did you find out when it was over, kid?
Well, did you find out like your mother did?
Did it fall apart before it all began?
Before they could find out your name
Well, you're tired of feelin' the same
Like a bubble stuck in your vein
There's so much more for you to say
There's so many poor souls for you to claim
You're still stuck between the green grass
And forty million miles from the sun
Was she driving too fast when the turn came in?
Did you think about all that could have been?
Did you realize or did it come too soon?
Before they could find out your name
Like a white thorn stuck in your brain
Like a bubble stuck in your vein
There's so much more for you to see
There's so much more for you to be
You're still stuck between the green grass
My sweet queen of hearts
A change of heart
My sweet queen of hearts
Like fragile trees in your auxiliary
Planted in boxes for the world to see
Well, it's the girl
That makes him happy
Oh, it's the girl
That makes him happy
Well, it's the girl
That makes him happy
It's the girl

The Best Little Secrets Are Kept
Ball Of Twine
I'll take a ball of twine
and i'll twirl ya
like a yo-yo on the ground
ya come up before you go down
to a ball of twine
your like a yo-yo
runnin on the ground
ya come up before you fall down
well God saved the Kinks
and the music from the big pinks
cause sonny boy
well he's better than ya think
and there are things that i hear on the radio
where they're singing all the same music fablio
i'd rather listen to the drips from the kitchen sink
Well, you were high when I met you
Now you're falling like a leaf from a tree
Wanna reach into the sea
And every time the world goes round
You're getting closer to the ground
Air traffic control
I've been gone, I've been up away from home
Now my gear is down, I've circled round
And I am coming in
Running out of oxygen
And my fuel is running low
Run, realize where do I go
I'm looking down but they don't show
Well, you were high when I met you
Now you're coming down on my frequency
I can't hear you, can you see me?
You're cutting in, I'm breaking up
Your true love trapple and I
Air traffic control
Hold on, I'm coming in
Air traffic control
Hold on, I'm coming in
Air traffic control
I've been gone, I've been up away from home
Now my gear is down, I'm circling round
And I am coming in
Running out of oxygen
And my fuel is running low
Run, realize where do I go
I'm looking down, but they don't show
Wanna race into the sea
I can't hear you, can you see me?
I can't see you, can you hear me?
Air traffic control
Hold on, I'm coming in
Air traffic control
Hold on, I'm coming in
Air traffic control
I've been gone, I've been up away from home
Now my gear is down, I'm circling round
And I am coming in
I've run out of oxygen
And my fuel is running low
Run, realize where did you go?
The history of france has a time when a man
Called louis xiv was crowned child king
He ordered all the dukes and counts to his home
So he controlled their lives and made them docile and tame
He was a clever monarch, ruled with an iron fist
Everyone who didn't agree, was written on his black list
Louis xiv, finesse and force
He reigned over his nation, insuring his sovereignty
Louis xiv, finesse and force
Indeed there was the other side to louis xiv
He build splendid gardens to impress all his friends
For the aristocracy all gifts to him send
He showered his court with parties and fun
The reasons are many, he's the king of the sun
Two generations later the king has succumbed
He lost all control, the country had gone numb
The realm was in an uproar, so something had to snap
The rich just got richer and the poor got the crap
The sinking of the empire wasn't to be changed
In the bloody vacuum it all felt so strange
[chorus]
Revolution in 1789
Revolution - the king was overthrown
Revolution - monarchy has gone
Revolution - democracy was born
The king was beheaded in 1793
While his head was rolling the nation danced so free...
Now think about this song
And then transfer it into our time
There still are many louises
Dictators who live so fine
And in the end
Majority has got it right
It's a warning to all louises
Living now in our time
It's revolution's jubilee
The birthday of democracy
All politicians should beware

14, 000 men, 14, 000 horses withdrew their labours
And here we go into the principality of Paris
We burn the palace and shoot the people with the sour faces
The sour faces have got the people's innocence in their hands
And this dirty, filthy palace has still got no truth
We storm the palace on the 4th and 5th amendements
My name's Napoleon, I didn't breed there
They say the grass is greener on the other side
Well, I've been there...
