Plot
It started with an act of terrorism: a dirty bomb -a radioactive attack on American soil that completely devastated the American mid-west and left millions dead or dying. Immediately our government looked to overseas threats -Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan... North Korea... but then the truth came. The attack was not carried out by foreign operatives, but by a coordinated effort of domestic terrorist. America was under attack by its own citizens. The government moved quickly, and with one fell swoop they seized complete control of the country, closing our borders, establishing a curfew, implementing a special police force, and regulating all aspects of our lives. They took control of the internet. Implemented a military draft, took away our firearms, and restricted all air travel. Democrats and Republicans united, and passed a law to give the government complete emergency control for the duration of the crisis. They called this law the United States Security Enforcement Act. It's been nearly 10 years and martial law is still in effect. Unemployment is at 38%. All citizens are tracked through their digital devices. All businesses are owned by the government. Special government police troops patrol the streets, seeking out and detaining suspected terrorist. The population lives in fear. We are prisoners in our own country, held hostage by our own government. Many of us now believe the government was directly responsible for the attacks in the mid-west that killed so many. They used our fear to seize control. The general population starves while the corporate government grows fat. People began to take to the streets, protesting, demanding the truth. The government fought back, detaining and executing thousands in a purge of suspected insurgents. What began as civil unrest may soon become a full scale civil war. This is America. The time is now. My name is Edenfall_318, I'm a journalist, and for the first time since the collapse of America, the truth will be told. This is my story...

[Zak is trying to convince Batty to turn back]::Batty Koda: What're you, crazy, that's lemming talk!::Zak: [hits Batty's antenna] Wrong channel!::Batty Koda: [in English accent] Hail, Caesar! Emperor of Rome!::Zak: [Batty floats offscreen] Wrong channel!::Batty Koda: [back onscreen; imitates John Wayne] Well all right, Gunny! We're goin' to war!
Crysta: Are you okay?::Zak: [screams to his horror] WHAT HAPPENED TO ME! I-I-I'M THREE INCHES TALL!::Crysta: Oh... I shrank you.::Zak: You what?::Crysta: Well, it was the most amazing thing. 'Course, it's not what the spell was really supposed to do, but Magi Lune will fix you.::Zak: You... you shrank me?::Crysta: Yeah!::Batty Koda: Catches on quick, doesn't he?
Elder: Now, Crysta, aren't you a little old to believe in human tales?::Batty Koda: Human tails? Humans don't have tails. They have big, big bottoms that they wear with bad shorts. They walk around going, "Hi, Helen".
Zak: Buzz off? I'm not buzzing anywhere. Now unshrink me, and I mean now.::Crysta: Well, I guess I could take a bash at it.::Zak: "Take a bash"?::Crysta: Actually, I'm just sort of learning.::Zak: Great, I've been shrunk by an amateur. I don't believe this. Okay, okay, come on! Bash away!
Batty Koda: [crashes into a tree] I'M BLIND, ON, NO! [opens his eyes] I can see! It's a miracle! Another perfect landing! No worries! I'm okay! Thank you for caring. Just a few bruises. [sees that no one is listening] Nobody cares about me.::Zak: I do you, bat-man.::Batty Koda: You sure?::Zak: I'm positive.::Batty Koda: Only fools are positive.::Zak: Are you sure?::Batty Koda: I'm positive...::[as Zak laughs]::Batty Koda: I fell for it! I should have known!
Crysta: But how can you live without trees?::Zak: Easy.::Crysta: But trees give life. They make the clouds, the water, the air.::Zak: We have air.::Batty Koda: Yeah, if you don't mind getting all your minerals in one breath.
Zak: What are you supposed to be, some kind of fairy?::Crysta: Of course I am. What about you? Are you really a human?::Zak: Last time I checked.
Hexxus: [singing] I see the world and all the creatures in it, / I suck 'em dry and spit 'em out like spinach. / 'Cause greedy human beings will always lend a hand, / with the destruction of this worthless jungle land. / And what a wonderful machine they have provided, / To slice a path of doom with my sweet breath to guide it.
Magi Lune: There are worlds within worlds, Crysta. Everything in our world is connected by the delicate strands of the web of life, which is a balance between the forces of destruction and the magical forces of creation.

In vascular plants, the root is the organ of a plant that typically lies below the surface of the soil. This is not always the case, however, since a root can also be aerial (growing above the ground) or aerating (growing up above the ground or especially above water). Furthermore, a stem normally occurring below ground is not exceptional either (see rhizome). So, it is better to define root as a part of a plant body that bears no leaves, and therefore also lacks nodes. There are also important internal structural differences between stems and roots.
The first root that comes from a plant is called the radicle. The four major functions of roots are 1) absorption of water and inorganic nutrients, 2) anchoring of the plant body to the ground, and supporting it, 3) storage of food and nutrients, 4) vegetative reproduction. In response to the concentration of nutrients, roots also synthesise cytokinin, which acts as a signal as to how fast the shoots can grow. Roots often function in storage of food and nutrients. The roots of most vascular plant species enter into symbiosis with certain fungi to form mycorrhizas, and a large range of other organisms including bacteria also closely associate with roots.
Cody Chesnutt (stylized as Cody ChesnuTT, born 1968) is an American R&B and neo soul musician from Atlanta, Georgia.
Chesnutt's music blends elements of rock, funk, soul, hip hop, and blues. After relocating to Los Angelos, Chesnutt found work with Death Row records, writing and producing five songs for the male R&B group Six Feet Deep. Chesnutt and his former band, The Crosswalk, had a brief stint with Hollywood Records in which they were later booted from the label. The band subsequently broke up and Chesnutt released a double LP in 2002 entitled The Headphone Masterpiece, which was recorded on a 4-track cassette recorder in his bedroom recording studio, which he calls "The Sonic Promiseland".
His closest brush with mainstream success came in 2002, when the hip hop group The Roots remade a song from his album, "The Seed", for their album Phrenology, as "The Seed (2.0)". Chesnutt plays guitar and sings vocals on the track, and appears in its music video, which received heavy airplay on MTV and BET. At the height of his popularity, Chesnutt's backing band consisted of drummer Craig Waters, now with the band The Bellrays, and bassist Aaron Ebensperger. In October 2003, Cody Chesnutt was nominated for the prestigious Shortlist Music Prize, and performed in the ceremony for the prize at the Wiltern Theatre in California.
