Mehran Modiri (Persian: مهران مدیری , (born January 8, 1962) in Tehran, Iran) is a prolific Iranian actor, television director, comedian and musician. His artistic career began in his teenage years as he was acting in local plays. He then entered the world of radio and television in the early 1990s, actively writing scripts for and participating in various comedy skits during the annual Norooz comedy television shows broadcasted by the IRIB.
He continued appearing in television comedies, however, he achieved real stardom with his creation of Pavarchin (Tiptoeing), in which he won numerous awards for directing and starring in the picture. He tasted success again when he directed and starred in Noghtechin (Ellipsis), and Jayezeye Bozorg (Great Prize), which became major hits on television in Iran[citation needed].
Afterwards, he followed Pavarchin's storyline with the making of Shabhaye Barareh which became his most popular television program yet; the show remained incomplete after it was criticized for offending rural people, which resulted in an abrupt end to the show after 92 episodes, without completely explaining the Barareh history.

After returning to the United States, Kerry joined the Vietnam Veterans Against the War in which he served as a nationally recognized spokesperson and as an outspoken opponent of the Vietnam war. During that period, he appeared before the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs where he deemed United States war policy in Vietnam to be the cause of "war crimes".
SILENCE ROOM
I’m sitting right in your house
I’m sitting on your settee
I had to make my own coffee and find the remote for your tv
I came all this way
But you’re a million miles away
I’m still waiting till you get off the phone, like I got all day
You better wait a sec
Cos I can’t connect
You gotta let me in your head
Chorus
You know it, you see it
You can’t get out of it
I show it, you conceal it
But I’m still shut out of it
And I get so upset
It’s got to happen soon
Gotta get out of the silence room
I’m sitting with all your friends
We’re laughing at all your ways
I pretend I see the funny side but really I’m ready to break
They say talk is cheap
But with you it wouldn’t be
If you could just take the time to speak your mind
How much effort would that take
You better make a start
At trying to act the part
Or I’m getting on the next plane
Chorus
You know it, you see it
You can’t get out of it
I show it, you conceal it
But I’m still shut out of it
And I get so upset
It’s got to happen soon
Gotta get out of the silence room
You’re keeping a secret, you know it’s a lie
You’re walking on thin glass you know that this can’t last
You’re keeping a secret, you know it’s a lie
You gotta let me in your head
Chorus
You know it, you see it
You can’t get out of it
I show it, you conceal it
But I’m still shut out of it
And I get so upset
It’s got to happen soon
Gotta get out of the silence room
You know it, you see it
You can’t get out of it
I show it, you conceal it
But I’m still shut out of it
And I get so upset
It’s got to happen soon
Well there was something in the way
You used to look out of your window and say
As the rain would drizzle down
You’d say there’s got to be a better way
A look beginning in your eye
Drown out the other thoughts in front of you
And I’d fade back into your mind
As you’d be looking out ahead of you
Something needed
In your empty world I wish I could complete it
But the gaps that grew they can’t just be deleted
If there’s something then I wish I could suggest it
To you for you
It’s over
Your time with me is over
You’re looking past my shoulder
I know you think there’s more for you
Oh I told ya
I wasn’t quite how you were
So I’m the first to say it’s over, over, over
Well take a step and slide it back
I’ll get out of your immediate space
I wish that I could be enough for you
To try and put a real smile on your face
I guess I’m not the way you like
I could try and be as clever and impressive as I can
But it don’t matter how I try
There’s something else that you’ve created in your mind you wanna
have
Something needed
In your empty world I wish I could complete it
But the gaps that grew they can’t just be deleted
If there’s something then I wish I could suggest it
To you for you
Time invested
So we can say that it was tried and it was tested
I know with me you really tried to do your bestest
But I don’t want you just pretending anymore
To me for me
It’s over
Your time with me is over
You’re looking past my shoulder
I know you think there’s more for you
Oh I told ya
I wasn’t quite how you were
So I’m the first to say it’s over, over, over
I tried to tell you but you were trying to be nice
But I recognise too well the faraway look in your eyes
I tried to help you to find the things you crave,
I know you love me
But I love you enough to say
It’s over
Your time with me is over
You’re looking past my shoulder
I know you think there’s more for you
Oh I told ya
I wasn’t quite how you were
So I’m the first to say it’s over, over, over
Baby let me go then you’ll be free
And I’ll be there to watch you quietly
LET ME BACK
I thought I had you cos I thought that we were fine
We’re not together but I thought that we could still be friends
I didn’t think that if I tried to make him mine
I’d make you so sad
When you found out you had a face I’d never seen
That’s when I knew I’d broken your heart irreparably
And now its awkward like I know it’s never been
And babe I miss you bad
Baby baby baby baby
Let me back
Lately lately lately lately
I miss you bad
You were so good to me
Why couldn’t I see
I gotta make you understand my point of view
It’s just so easy when the feelings are consuming you
And all the time I knew the consequences would be bad
But not like this
And now I feel I’ve lost the most important thing
(and all the songs that play I think of you)
And I know, there’s no one else to blame
Believe me now I know that first I ought to think
So it don’t come to this
Baby baby baby baby
Let me back
Lately lately lately lately
I miss you bad
You were so good to me
Why couldn’t I see
Do Do Do......
And I never realised before now
That baby you were meant for me
And I never knew and I never knew
And I never realised just quite how
Blind I could be
Baby baby baby baby
Let me back
Lately lately lately lately
I miss you bad
You were so good to me
CALIFORNIA
I ain’t the person I’m supposed to be he said to all of his friends
It wasn’t that I wasn’t born like me it’s just that’s where similarity ends
And he took on a different style of life he thought required for
The new identity he made disregarding all that went before
So he packed his bags and went where dreams made up the air
So he could breathe the thoughts that he could never share
And it makes me wish that you were still here with me
But I know that this is where you should be
Won’t you tell California I got more time on my hands
Won’t you leave a little stardust to make me feel at home
Take a little inside out to the cold with me
So when I step outside it’s warm
Leave a little of you here till I’m old with me
You’re face’ll never change from the picture on my soul
You’re face’ll never change from the picture on my soul
And he slowly faded out of sight and out of mind
Leaving friends imagining alone what he would find
And this is my way of saying that it’s all alright
Cos I know that I won’t see you for a long long while
Won’t you tell California I got more time on my hands
Won’t you leave a little stardust to make me feel at home
Take a little inside out to the cold with me
So when I step outside it’s warm
Leave a little of you here till I’m old with me
You’re face’ll never change from the picture on my soul
Box Of Secrets
A little bird once said to me
You’ve got to live a little before you’re happy
And if you take a lot
You’ll be left with none
I had to learn a bit and live a bit
And let it all sink in a bit
A little voice there in my head
Saying how many hours has your day got left
With the pressures of your day run out of time
Hard to have a plan and keep to it
And pick a path and stick to it
(Can’t you can’t you...)
Can’t you show me
(I’ll be I’ll be...)
I’ll be waiting to see
(Wanna learn wanna learn...)
Oh, the secrets of the universe
(Can’t you can’t you)
Can’t you can’t you make it clear to me
Chorus:
Open up the box of secrets
Take one out for me
I’ll show the number on my ticket
And take one home with me
Show me show me what you got
I’ll take it take it soak it up
Open up the box of secrets
Take one out for me
A little bird once talked to me
Oh but then he flew away too quickly
Didn’t have enough time to ask the things I need
He said I got to make my own mistakes
Find the lessons I can take
Why’d all the answers hide away
When we need a little guidance through the day
If I can stay afloat with my arm bands off
Then I can just keep going laugh the bad days off
(Can’t you can’t you...)
Can’t you show me
(I’ll be I’ll be...)
I’ll be waiting to see
(Wanna learn wanna learn...)
Oh, the secrets of the universe
(Can’t you can’t you)
Can’t you can’t you make it clear to me
Chorus
Rap:
I’m gonna break the locks and open up the box
Cos I was out in the cold searching kinda lost
I noticed I was hopeless but now I’m focused
I wrote this cos I let go but now I hold this
Now I’m on to bigger things and better things
And now I’m figuring the world and I’m settling
If this is the right path I’m stepping in
Nothing but positive energy I’m letting in
I gotta let go of everything I fear now
I’ve gotta let go of everything, I’m here now
And I’m a girl with a plan, right here where I stand,
I’ve got the world in my hands
a little bird once said to me
u gotta live a little till your happy
if u take alot u will be left with none
i had to learn a bit
