Plot
Roma, anni '50.

Siberia (/saɪˈbɪəriə/; Russian: Сиби́рь, tr. Sibir'; IPA: [sʲɪˈbʲirʲ] ( listen)) is an extensive region constituting almost all of Northern Asia. Comprising the central and eastern portion of the Russian Federation, it was part of the Soviet Union (USSR) from its beginning, as its predecessor states, the Tsardom of Russia and the Russian Empire, conquered it during the 16th to 19th centuries.
Encompassing much of the Eurasian Steppe, the territory of Siberia extends eastward from the Ural Mountains to the watershed between the Pacific and Arctic drainage basins, and southward from the Arctic Ocean to the hills of north-central Kazakhstan and the national borders of Mongolia and China. Siberia makes up about 77% of Russia's territory (13.1 million square kilometres), but has only 28% (40 million people) of Russia's population.
Some sources say that the word Siberia originates from the Turkic for "sleeping land". Another version is that this name was the ancient tribal name of the Sabirs, Turkic nomads later assimilated to Siberian Tatars. The modern usage of the name appeared in the Russian language after the conquest of the Siberian Khanate.
Raymond Paul "Ray" Mears (born 7 February 1964) is an English woodsman, instructor, author and TV presenter. His TV appearances cover bushcraft and survival techniques, and he is best known for the TV series Ray Mears' Bushcraft, Ray Mears' World of Survival, Extreme Survival, Survival with Ray Mears, Wild Britain with Ray Mears and Ray Mears Goes Walkabout.
Mears grew up in Kenley, Greater London, and the North Downs, where he discovered a countryside abundant with wildlife. Educated at Reigate Grammar School, a co-educational independent school in Reigate, Surrey, he learned to track foxes in the forest at a young age. As a boy, he desired to sleep out on the trail, but unable to afford camping equipment, he resorted to setting up camp using what he could find in his surroundings.
Mears's enthusiasm for his subject, combined with his broad knowledge of survival and the uses which may be made of plants, trees and other natural materials found in woodland, forest or desert, have made him a popular figure in TV broadcasting in the UK.[citation needed] He has travelled extensively across the world for his TV series and has learned survival techniques from the indigenous peoples he has met. In his programmes he demonstrates his knowledge of the wild, how to find food from seeds, berries, roots and other growing things, and how to survive by constructing temporary shelters, fires and canoes from natural materials.
When you come back I won't be here
She said and gently pulled me near
If you want to talk you can call
And no it's not your fault
I just smiled and said let go of me
But there's something that I've just gotta know
Did someone else steal my part?
She said it's not my fault
Then my heart did time in Siberia
Was waiting for the lie to come true
'Cause it's all so dark and mysterious
When the one you want doesn't want you too
I was drifted in between
Like I was on the outside looking in, yeah yeah
In my dreams you are still here
Like you've always been
Oh yeah, my heart did time in Siberia
Was waiting for the lie to come true
'Cause it's all so dark and mysterious
When the one you want doesn't want you too
I gave myself away completely
But you just couldn't see me
Though I was sleeping in your bed
'Cause someone else was on your mind
In your head
When I came back she wasn't there
Just a note left on the stairs
If you want to talk give me a call
My heart did time in Siberia
Was waiting for the lie to come true
'Cause it's all so dark and mysterious
When the one you want doesn't want you too
When the one that you want doesn't want you
My heart did time in Siberia
Was waiting for the lie to come true
'Cause it's all so dark and mysterious
When the one you want doesn't want you too
Siberia, Siberia
Where were we
Fearless and only ever scared of me
Peerless and tearless
That was me
Cold as ice
On my knees
Every night
Snow white
Where were you
When all the doors were closing
You forced me to
Of all of us it's you who chose
It's you who chose
Not me
Cold as ice
On my knees
Everynight
Snow white
Where were we
When I was fearless and only ever scared of me
Peerless and tearless
Where am I
Still trying to find the light
That burns the northern sky
A rarer borealis
Born to be
Made of lights
On my knees everynight
Snow bright
Yeh thats me
Cold as ice
On my knees
Everynight
Snow white
Born to be
Made of lights
On my knees everynight
From the busy parks, to the icy tides.
Someday we'll decide where we want to live out our lives.
Formalities sparked, tumbling along.
Keeping the heat on even though summer's come and gone.
I would sail across the east sea, just to see you on the far side.
Where the wind is cold and angry, there you'll be to take me inside.
We'll find ways to fill the empty, far from all the hysteria.
I don't care if we suddenly find ourselves in Siberia.
Siberia
Inside a street car, or on a mountain trail.
Details, details,
You breathe in when I exhale.
No matter where we are, or which way the wind blows.
Or how heavy the snow, nothing can change where we will go.
I would sail across the east sea, just to see you on the far side.
Where the wind is cold and angry, there you'll be to take me inside.
We'll find ways to fill the empty, far from all the hysteria.
I don't care if we suddenly find ourselves in Siberia.
Siberia,
We'll leave Canada, for Siberia.
Siberia, Siberia, Siberia, Siberia, Siberia...
I would sail across the east sea, just to see you on the far side.
Where the wind is cold and angry, there you'll be to take me inside.
We'll find ways to fill the empty, far from all the hysteria.
I don't care if we suddenly find ourselves in Siberia.
Siberia,
Crisis of confidence
In everything you do
Your lies are all spilling out
They're coming fast and loose
Nobody talks in black and white
Are there no straight answers anymore?
In your Emerald City
Sitting so pretty
Over the opium sea
Hold on
We're in oblivion
Falling way down
I'm bending over backwards
Into Siberian Khatru
Anyone of you
Know the way to get home?
Hubris honey you broke
My only golden rule
You never truly know somebody
Never know where they have been before
A leader great and powerful
You made a crisis unavoidable
In your Emerald City
Sitting so pretty
Over the opium sea
Hold on
We're in oblivion
Falling way down
I'm bending over backwards
Cling to
The tether to the truth
All this tapestry
My god it's so unnecessary
All I really want is for it to be, oh
Is for it to be, oh what a feeling!
But I'm gone in oblivion
Anyone of you
Know the way to get home?
Oh no
Didn't you see?
That it's all the same
It doesn't matter where you are?
Oh no
Now you can see
That underneath
It's not as good as what you thought
Oh no
Didn't you see?
That it's all the same
It doesn't matter where you are?
Long way down
In oblivion
Bending over backwards
Hold on
Long way down
Bending over backwards
Oh no
Nothing to show
Under it all
It's not as good as what you thought
Way down
Into the ground
Underneath
Far as far as you can see
Hold on
We're in oblivion
Falling way down
I'm bending over backwards
Cling to
The tether to the truth
All this tapestry
My god it's so unnecessary
All I really want is for it to be, oh
Is for it to be, oh what a feeling!
But I'm gone in oblivion
Anyone of you
Know the way to get home?
Hold on
In oblivion
Long way down
Bending over backwards
Anybody know the way to go to get me home?
Hold on
In oblivion
Long way down
Bending over backwards
Anybody know the way to go to get me home?
