0.25 µm SiGeC BiCMOS Teknolojisi için Standart Hücre Kütüphanesinin Hazırlanması Projesi
SiGeC BiCMOS; silikon yarıiletken malzeme üzerinde, mikrodalga frekanslarda MMIC geliştirmeye olanak sağlayan ve dünyada henüz gelişmekte olan bir teknolojidir. SiGeC BiCMOS'un en büyük getirisi, yüksek entegrasyon sağlamasıdır. Bu teknoloji; radar elektroniği başta olmak üzere düşük güçlü yüksek frekans uygulamaları için ideal bir çözüm sunmakta; çok çeşitli mikrodalga ve sayısal fonksiyonun aynı çip üzerinde gerçekleştirilmesine olanak sağlamakta ve bu sayede hem daha küçük hem de daha hızlı sistemler geliştirilmesine imkan tanımaktadır. Yüksek frekanslarda çalışan tümdevrelerin haberleşme, tıp, otomotiv sanayi, güç elektroniği ve askeri elektronik gibi çok geniş bir kullanım alanı mevcuttur. Bu teknolojiyi ülkemiz açısından kritik yapan unsur, yurt dışında üretilen yüksek performanslı tümdevrelere erişimin zor olması, hatta bazı durumlarda ihraç kısıtlamaları nedeniyle imkânsız olmasıdır. Proje kapsamında; YİTAL'deki teknoloji ve altyapı kullanılarak tümdevre üretimlerinin yapılabilmesi için ihtiyaç duyulan ve ülkemizde öncelikli olarak sahip olunması gereken standart hücre kütüphanesi ve süreç tasarım kiti geliştirilecektir. Böylece, ülkemizdeki savunma ve sivil birçok alanda faaliyet gösteren yerli tümdevre tasarımcılarına, tasarımlarını yurt dışı yerine yurtiçinde bir kaynak olan YİTAL'de ürettirme olanağı sağlanacaktır. Söz konusu altyapının proje sonrasında sivil kullanıma ve yurtdışı tasarımcılara da açılmasıyla YİTAL'in etkin kullanımı hedeflenmektedir. Böylece hem elektronik üretim anlamında ülkemizin sahip olduğu teknolojik seviye artacak hem de yurtdışı kaynaklı tasarımların üretildiği bir üretim evine (foundry) sahip olunması temin edilerek ülkemize katma değer sağlanacaktır.- published: 17 Dec 2013
