Cheryl Ladd (born Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor; July 12, 1951) is an American actress, singer and author. Ladd is best known for her role as Kris Munroe in the television series Charlie's Angels, hired amid a swirl of publicity prior to its second season in 1977 to replace the departing Farrah Fawcett-Majors. Ladd remained with the show until its cancellation in 1981.
Ladd was born Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor in Huron, South Dakota to parents of German descent,[citation needed] the second daughter of Dolores (née Katz), a waitress, and Marion Stoppelmoor (1929–2001), a railroad engineer. She married fellow actor David Ladd, son of the famous actor Alan Ladd, with whom she had a daughter, Jordan. She took his surname as her own, which she kept after their divorce. She has been married to music producer Bryan Russell since 1981, and has a stepdaughter, Lindsay Russell. Ladd is a celebrity ambassador for the child abuse prevention and treatment non-profit Childhelp.
Ladd initially came to Hollywood in 1970 to begin a career in music (she was known as "Cherie Moor" when she was the singing voice of Melody on Hanna-Barbera's Josie and the Pussycats animated series). She soon began to land non-singing roles in commercials and episodic television - including guest appearances on shows such as The Rookies, The Partridge Family and Happy Days. The Charlie's Angels series made her an overnight star, and Ladd took the opportunity of her sudden popularity to further pursue her musical interests, guest-starring in musical-comedy variety series and specials, performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl XIV in January 1980, and releasing three albums, enjoying a Top 40 Hot 100 single and a Gold record. In September 2000, Ladd starred on Broadway, taking over the title role from Bernadette Peters in a revival of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun. She played the role until January 2001, when Reba McEntire took over.
Oh, yeah
Still don't know what I was waitin' for
And my time was runnin' wild
A million dead end streets and
Every time I thought I'd got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I've never caught a glimpse of
How the others must see the faker
I'm much too fast to take that test
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Don't want to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Just gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me
But I can't trace time
Mmm, yeah
I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
So the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Don't tell them to grow up and out of it
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Where's your shame?
You've left us up to our necks in it
Time may change me
But you can't trace time
Strange fascination, fascinatin'
Ah, changes are takin'
The pace I'm goin' through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Oh, look out you rock 'n' rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Pretty soon now you're gonna get older
Time may change me
But I can't trace time
I said that time may change me
My life changes all the time.
Things were diff’rent when you were mine.
You loved me yesterday.
Now these changes have come to stay.
There have been changes,
So many changes along the way.
(Too many changes, changes in the way).
(So many changes, changes in the how).
(To many changes, changes when you cry).
Time brings changes,right or wrong.
I still love you, but now you’re gone.
Maybe someday love will come,
But who can say what kind of changes,
What kind of changes come my way.
(Too many changes come along).
(Too many changes,leaving me alone).
(Olivia Newton-John)
We said a million times we'd change
Can't bring myself to say those words again
A piper never changes tune
You can't grow apples on the moon
The hurtful things we say still penetrate
And whispered sorrys always come too late
Then the damage has been done
What are we going to tell our son?
I want to spare his broken heart
Break it gently that we'll live apart
Don't know the proper words to say
He won't be seeing daddy every day
Those weekly outings never work, you know
Buying gifts and candy, picture shows
They can't replace the man around
Your voice, your touch, your manly sound
I guess the trouble is I love you still
And if it comes to that, I always will
No, please don't cry, it's just too late
Now hurry on, she's waiting at the gate
Come on come on
I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself
is life worth living should I blast myself?
I'm tired of bein' poor & even worse I'm black
my stomach hurts so I'm lookin' for a purse to snatch
Cops give a damn about a negro
pull the trigger kill a nigga he's a hero
Give the crack to the kids who the hell cares
one less hungry mouth on the welfare
First ship 'em dope & let 'em deal the brothers
give 'em guns step back watch 'em kill each other
It's time to fight back that's what Huey said
2 shots in the dark now Huey's dead
I got love for my brother but we can never go nowhere
unless we share with each other
We gotta start makin' changes
learn to see me as a brother instead of 2 distant strangers
and that's how it's supposed to be
How can the Devil take a brother if he's close to me?
I'd love to go back to when we played as kids
but things changed, and that's the way it is
[Bridge w/ changing ad libs]
Come on come on
That's just the way it is
Things'll never be the same
That's just the way it is
aww yeah
[Repeat]
I see no changes all I see is racist faces
misplaced hate makes disgrace to races
We under I wonder what it takes to make this
one better place, let's erase the wasted
Take the evil out the people they'll be acting right
'cause both black and white is smokin' crack tonight
and only time we chill is when we kill each other
it takes skill to be real, time to heal each other
And although it seems heaven sent
We ain't ready, to see a black President, uhh
It ain't a secret don't conceal the fact
the penitentiary's packed, and it's filled with blacks
But some things will never change
try to show another way but you stayin' in the dope game
Now tell me what's a mother to do
bein' real don't appeal to the brother in you
You gotta operate the easy way
'I made a G today' But you made it in a sleazy way
sellin' crack to the kid. ' I gotta get paid,'
Well hey, well that's the way it is
[Bridge]
[Talking:]
We gotta make a change...
It's time for us as a people to start makin' some changes.
Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live
and let's change the way we treat each other.
You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do
what we gotta do, to survive.
And still I see no changes can't a brother get a little peace
It's war on the streets & the war in the Middle East
Instead of war on poverty they got a war on drugs
so the police can bother me
And I ain't never did a crime I ain't have to do
But now I'm back with the blacks givin' it back to you
Don't let 'em jack you up, back you up,
crack you up and pimp slap you up
You gotta learn to hold ya own
they get jealous when they see ya with ya mobile phone
But tell the cops they can't touch this
I don't trust this when they try to rush I bust this
That's the sound of my tool you say it ain't cool
my mama didn't raise no fool
And as long as I stay black I gotta stay strapped
& I never get to lay back
'Cause I always got to worry 'bout the pay backs
some buck that I roughed up way back
comin' back after all these years
rat-tat-tat-tat-tat that's the way it is uhh
[Bridge 'til fade]

Life is full of changes
Life is full of changes, oh
Life is full of changes
[Verse 1:]
So sad to see,
You never knew another girl bad as she.
Gotta' ass so phat that you had to see
And any living man be glad to be.
B ran the streets,
B had the dough.
'Fore a couple reasons he the man to know,
Just got back out a couple weekends ago.
Plus he kept a big back of the reefer to roll.
She was from the other side,
The way they met wasn't even nothing fly.
After wing stop,
There was a road block.
He had a pack in the ride
So he dipped inside.
Pretty lil young thing catch his eye,
She had a two-piece, a pepsi, fry.
He asked her name,
Spit some game, s
He liked the nigga style,
Took his number down.
'Bout a week later, gotta' text like
"B what's up this Jada, I been busy on my school shit,
Hope you don't think I played ya."
But B won't never trip 'n see,
Bitches nothing major.
His mentality, hoes could get in the way of paper.
Whole summer he would dig her out,
Pick her up from the school, take her to the house.
Said he do it so good,
That she never let nobody else eat her out.
Ugh. Yeah. She a smart girl, give amazing brain,
Big dreams to do major thangs.
But life is full of change, life is full of change.
[Hook:]
Oh, you never know how things'll go, no way. Oh you
never know how things'll go, life is full of changes.
Oh life is full of change-es. The people and the places
and the thangs you see, and every single moment that
you breath. Life is full of changes, life is full of
changes. Oohh
[Verse 2:]
It's just one flag, 6 months past.
He make her feel dope and he gotta dope pad.
That's his pussy now don't touch that,
He was fucking hoes, but he cut back.
She know he deal dope, but they never spoke that.
In fact she acts as if she doesn't know that.
He'll have a nigga left with a toe tag.
Gotta dope boy, keep a dope bag.
He gotta good girl, she gotta hood pass.
He gotta homegirl, she got her own cash.
Tia so bad but he never fucked dat.
They used to cut class but he never cut dat.
Her brother Kodjoe, taught her how to cook crack,
She bcecame her little sister just like that.
He never had a bitch he could trust like that.
Til Tia left town and she never looked back.
15 bricks got Kodjoe, hit from the head to the hip out
in Tuscan.
Now the news on, crackhead found,
Dead as a bitch in the Ucon.
Now way, closed-casket funeral,
Tia's back & she beautiful.
Jada never saw pain so mutual,
So she let em get a moment, you never know.
[Hook:]
Oh, you never know how things'll go, no way. Oh you
never know how things'll go, life is full of changes.
Oh life is full of change-es. The people and the places
and the thangs you see, and every single moment that
you breath. Life is full of changes, life is full of
changes. Oohh
[Verse 3:]
Uh, Couple months went by.
Tia's still around,
B still sell pies.
Jada still down.
Indictment time, a couple niggas laid down.
Get life a time for what a snitch'll say now.
B going crazy, he done start sniffin that blow he sell.
Jada be trippin, he like bitch, you must don't know me
well.
He copping benzes just for fun, he think this show &
tell.
Jada and Tia lunch and spa, they do they face and
nails.
Face to face it's swell,
But Tia acting, she just fake it well.
Bitch so skinny, can't face the scale.
She powder her nose, her face is pale.
B back on hoes, he be chasing tail.
Jada find out, she don't take it well.
This the kinda story that I hate to tell,
Tell a pussy nigga go straight to hell.
Tia walks in like "face it well,
I been sucking on this dick can't you taste the smell?
Then it got real silent, 'fo it got real violent! "
What! Bitch I'll be right back!
Nigga fuck this dude, do me like that!
Uh, nigga shitted on me like that?! "
All running through her hair,
While she running up the stairs.
What happens next is sad, it's like a bad song.
B running the same stairs Tia clenched on.
Nobody saying nothing, the house real quiet, (it's
quiet)
Then you heard a click-clack.
Now death's in the air.
Said "Nobody dying, bitch put the motherfucking gun
down,
I know you high but you acting real dumb now! "
Tia said "Fuck you! Take the shit! "
I'm telling you niggas now, this some crazy shit.
House real big on some acres shit,
So don't neither one of 'em know where Jada is.
B reach for the gun, whole up.
Jada came outta nowhere, stole her!
"Bitch, what now? Whore! "
As the gun falls down to the floor,
E'rybody scrambling for it. BANG, shot ring -bang-
It's blood e'rywhere, I'm talking e'rywhere.
Brains blown, it's digusting how they found her there.
Jada leaking, Tia screaming, s
He shaking, she drop the pistol,
DonÚFFFF92t you feel a change a-coming
From another side of time
Breaking down the walls of silence
Lifting shadows from your mind
Placing back the missing mirrors
That before you couldnÚFFFF92t find
Filling mysteries of emptiness
That yesterday left behind.
Chorus:
And we all know itÚFFFF92s better
Yesterday has passed
Now letÚFFFF92s all start the living
For the one thatÚFFFF92s going to last.
(Repeat Chorus)
DonÚFFFF92t you feel the day is coming
That will stay and remain
When your children see
The answers
That you saw the same
When the clouds have all gone
There will be no more rain
And all the beauty of all things
Is uncovered again.
Chorus
(Repeat Chorus)
DonÚFFFF92t you feel the day is coming
And it wonÚFFFF92t be too soon
When the people of the world
Can all live in one room
When we shake off the ancient
Chains of our tomb
We will all be born again
Of the eternal womb.
I'm moving through some changes
I'll never be the same
Something you did touched me
There's no one else to blame
The love we had has fallen
The love we used to share
We've given up pretending
As if you didn't care
Change changing places
Root yourself to the ground
Capitalize on this good fortune
One word can bring you round
Changes
I look into the mirror
I see no happiness
All the warmth I gave you
Has turned to emptiness
The love we had has fallen
The love we used to share
You've left me here believing
In love that wasn't there
Change changing places
Root yourself to the ground
Word to the wise - Well you get what's coming
One word can bring you round
Changes
When I look into your eyes and try to find out how
There's no way to save it now
And everything I feel
Changes
Keep looking for
Changes
Changes
For some reason you're questioning why
I always believe it gets better
One difference between you and I
Your heart is inside your head
One word from you
One word from me
A clear design on your liberty
Who could believe when love has gone
How we move on like everyone
Only such fools
Only such jealous hearts
Only through love changes come
Change changing places
Root yourself to the ground
Capitalize on this good fortune
One word can bring you round
Changes
One road to loneliness
It's always the same
One road to happiness
It's calling your name
Change changing places - Changes
Root yourself to the ground
Capitalize on this good fortune
One word can bring you round
Changes
Change changing places
Changes
Root yourself to the ground
Word to the wise - Well you get what's coming
One word - One word can bring you round
Sit by my side come as close as the air
Sharin' a memory of grey
And wander in my words
And dream about the pictures that I play
Of changes
Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall
To brown and to yellow they fade
And then they have to die
Trapped within the circle time parade
Of changes
Moments of magic will glow in the night
All fears of the forest are gone
For when the morning breaks
They're swept away by golden drops of dawn
Of changes
Passions will part to a warm melody
As fires will sometimes turn cold
Like petals in the wind
We're puppets to the silver strings of souls
Of changes
Your tears will be trembling now we're somewhere else
One last cup of wine we will pour
I'll kiss you one more time
And leave you on the rolling river shore
Of changes
CHANGES
by Carole King
With my limited vision
I don't understand
Why anybody has to lose a friend
Everybody has to follow their heart
But it can hurt so bad
To see changes
I believed in something
I thought you did too
But I didn't know what you wee going through
How can people be so close, yet apart
There's no wrong or right
It's just changes
Once I experienced the other end
I lost a friend or two
Doing what was true for me
Even though I know that time will make it right
I miss the way things used to be
I'm only human
And I may never know
All the reasons why people come and go
I guess if we can love it all transcends
There's enough to give
We've got our lives to live
Through changes
Seasons may change, we stay the same.
We always stay the same.
We always stay the same.
Winter brings snow, when no, no flowers grow.
They wait for the Spring.
Yes, they wait 'til the Spring.
In the Spring, young men grow.
'Til they're old enough to know,Better.
Better.
Leaves have turned green, now Spring has been
And gone
Summer's here.
The Autumn trees swing to and fro.
Their leaves turn brown,
Now young men know
Better.
Better.
["Just let me listen to that."]
Ev'ryone one feels good
And I knew they would.
It's been quite a good year.
It's been quite a good year.
Evryone is right - Everything is wrong
Don't let the CHANGES get you down man.
Everyone is wrong and everything is alright now,
Don't let the changes get you uptight
Butter my toast
And I'll go
Button up a coat
An' I'm gonna go
Off to the coast
We must go
Don't wamma boast
But I'll grow
Much better there.
Don't let the CHANGES get you down man (4 times)
An' Vietnam or Biafra - The obsurdity of greed
How much can one man, possibly need ?
Sickness and disease and ignorance on ev'ry side
Don't let the changes get you tight.
Butter my toast
And I'll go
Button up a coat
An' I'm gonna go
Off to the coast
We must go
Don't wamma boast
But I'll grow
Much better there.
I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I lost the best friend
That I ever had
She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
We shared the eve's
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world
Had it's evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
It took so long
To realize
That I can still hear
Her last goodbyes
Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years
I'm going through changes
How can you put me through these changes
Why do you do me like you do
It ain't no way
I love-a-dee love nobody but you
Let him go out and get with strangers
Don't you turn my love to hate
Ain't no man can love you like I can, and I do
How can you put me through these changes
Why do you do me like you do
It ain't no way
I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I'v lost the best friend
That I ever had
She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
We shared the years
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world

My heart was blinded
Love went astray

I'm going through changes

I'm going through changes
It took so long
To realize
That I can still hear
Her last goodbyes
Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years
I'm going through changes
Neither one of us will ever change
We're both the same and that's a shame
'Cause when we were together it was right
We had it all, you and I
You're not changin' me and I'm not changin' you
The only change is what we're goin' through
You took the part of me that I was proudest of
Now you're sayin' that's the part that you can't love
Changes, I'm gonna have to make some changes
Now that I know what your game is
I know that I would only lose, no matter what I do
And the first change that I'll make is gonna be you
If lovin' what you had ain't what you want
What do you need? You don't need me
You said I was the answer to your prayers
It don't seem fair, we both still care
Changes, I'm gonna have to make some changes
Now that I know what your game is
I know that I would only lose, no matter what I do
So the first change that I'll make is gonna be you
Oh, changes, I'm gonna have to make some changes
Now that I know what your game is
I know that I would only lose, oh, can't you see we're through?
(Changes)
Oh, somehow I'll get over you
(Changes)
Somehow, oh, changes, hard for a young girl to cope
Do do do
Hey little girl, won't you meet me at the schoolyard gate
I got back stage passes to the biggest show in town
So honey don't you make me late
If we leave really early
And we hurry we can get in with the band
'Cause little Tim Smitty's got his old man's van
So let's get to gettin' while the gettin' is right
And roll with the rhythm tonight
God knows that I love my music
Ain't no one gonna change my tune
Don't ya know that I love my music
Ain't never gonna change my tune
Hey little girl want to dance with you all night long
The music got me buzzin' and I feel pretty loose
I feel the rhythm and it's comin' on strong, baby, baby
Lay the rhythm on me baby, there's power in the sound
With everybody jumpin' we can bring the house down
So lets get to gettin' while the gettin' is right
And roll with the rhythm tonight
God knows that I love my music
Ain't no one gonna change my tune
Don't ya know that I love my music
Ain't never gonna change my tune
God knows that I love my music
Ain't no one gonna change my tune
Don't ya know that I love my music
Ain't never gonna change my
Do do do
Love my music
Ain't no one gonna change my tune
Don't ya know that I love my music

Changes, changes, yeah
For ordinary people now
Changes, changes, yes
For ordinary people now
There's so much beauty in every breath that we take
Oh, won't you tell me, can you relate?
Needs of the many, the wants of the few
We can find religion in the freedom we choose
There's so much hurt all over the place
Oh, can't you tell by the look on my face?
And there's one thing that I must convey
Changes, changes, yeah
For ordinary people now, yeah
Changes, changes, yeah
For ordinary people now
I just can't help the way that I feel
We all want our dreams to be real
Yet circumstances that I just can't understand
Why does money got to make the man?
Everyone has an ego to feed
And every want is filled with greed
So here's one thing that I've got to say
Changes, changes, yeah, yeah
For ordinary people now
Yeah, changes, changes
For ordinary people now, y'all
Change for the better and not for the worse
Let's stand together and break our curses
We look off in the distance chasing dreams
But the things that I see with my eye's obscene
Let's plant a new tree, make a change
Need it for you and me, brighter days
Will come and you'll see, make the change
Necessary for ordinary people
There's so much beauty in every breath that we take
Oh, tell me, can you relate?
Needs of the many and the wants of the few
You can find religion in the freedom you choose
There's so much hurt all over the place
And I can tell by the look on your face
And there's one thing that we've got to say
Changes, changes
(Danny man say, brighten up your day and never feel no weight)
For ordinary people now
(Hear what we say, hear what we say)
Changes, changes
(Brighten up your day and don't feel no weight)
For ordinary people now
(Do you hear what we say? Do you hear what we say?)
Changes, changes
(Brighten up your day and don't feel no weight)
For ordinary people now
(Can you hear what we say? Hear what we say)
Changes, changes
(Brighten up your day, ain't gonna feel no pain)
Sit by my side come as close as the air sharing a
memory of grey,
Wander in my world, dream about the pictures I play, of
changes.
Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall to brown
and to yellow they fade.
Then they have to die and drop within the circle grand
parade of changes.
Scenes of my young years are warm in my mind visions of
shadows that shine,
'til one day I return and find they were the victims of
the vines of changes.
The world is spinning madly adrift in the dark, it
swings through a hollow of haze,
a race around the stars, a journey through the universe
ablaze with changes.
Moments of magic will glow through the night all fears
of the forest are gone.
When the morning breaks they're swept away like golden
drops of dawn by changes.
Oceans will part to a strange melody, as fires will
sometimes burn cold.
Like water in the wind we are puppets to the silver
strings of changes.
Our tears will be trembling when we are somewhere else,
one last cup of wine we will pour.
I'll kiss you one more time and leave you on the
How can you put me through these changes
Why do you do me like you do
It ain't no way
I love-a-dee love nobody but you
Let him go out and get with strangers
Don't you turn my love to hate
Ain't no man can love you like I can, and I do
How can you put me through these changes
Why do you do me like you do
It ain't no way
I love-a-dee love nobody but you

We're getting better day by day
We grow and rise up when we fall
So let the changes stay the same
And someday we'll be ten feet tall
Is it the world or is it you?
Is it the world?
Is it the world or is it you?
Is it the world?
Is it the world or is it you?
Is it the world?
Is it the world or is it you?
Is it the world?
Nothing changes
Changes
We're strangers again
Well, we could have known
We should have known
This is not the end
Nothing changes
Changes
We're strangers again
Well, we could have known
We should have known
There ain't no end
We're getting better day by day
I can't believe that you're walking away from us
Could not conceive we'd ever be done
But I feel you drifting you don't have to hide from me
I just keep hoping you let me in
Maybe I can't help but talking may, I am here for you
Time passes us by and the way we love changes
And we're learning to waltz through the waves like everyone
Let it keep us from falling
Would you dance with me now?
The candle burned out and we stumbled around in the dark
And I can feel you slipping away
The band keeps on playing the world keeps revolving
Around all the static, the noise in between
And we need to hear that song again, let the love shine through
Time passes us by and the way we love changes
And we're learning to waltz through the waves like everyone
Let it keep us from falling
Would you dance with me, dance with me now?
New walls new ladders, none of this matters
We can't walk on water, we can only do better
If its not forever, if it's time to go I will always remember
I want you to know
When you held me in your arms and said,
let the love shine through
Time passes us by and the way we love changes
And we're learning to waltz through the waves like every one
Let it keep us from falling
Would you dance with me, dance with me now?
And all the changes keep on changing
And the good old days, they say they're gone
Only wise men and some new born fools
Say that they know what's going on
I was cramped into a coffee house pew
Two dollar coke in my hand
Listenin' to the music run
Through and out of a drowning man
Ten years ago I first heard him singin'
To a screamin' crazy crowd
Now there's thirteen loyal people
Tryin' to sound that loud
And I wonder as I watch him now
Why his songs don't turn me on
He got me into music
Where has the fragile magic gone?
And all the changes keep on changin'
And the good old days, they say they're gone
Only wise men and some new born fools
Say that they know what's goin' on
But I sometimes think the difference is
Just in how I think and see
And that the only changes goin' on
Are just goin' on in me
And that the only changes goin' on
Are just goin' on in me
There I was in you Air Force
Uncle Sam, you owned my brain
I tried to see myself as a sex mad savior
Sailin' on a silver plane
I started out to do my duty, ended up just doing time
What is it about you my mother of a country
Makes so many change our minds
You know you had me on your honor roll
For your dream, I would die
Now I would not even cross the street
To help you live a lie
And all the changes keep on changing
And the good old days, you know they're gone
Only wise men and some new born fools
Say that they know what's goin' on
But I sometimes think the difference is
Just in how I think and see
And that the only changes going on
Are just going on in me
And that the only changes going on
I'm the river that flow through the hood
Through the woods, through the birds, through the mud
Through the bricks over the curves, to the forest reserve
Got with four acres in the forest and worst
Planted [Incomprehensible] for the young seeds to know
Trees is blowin', we see change in the wind
This is new day and I gotta take it in
See a black man run, we need him to win
Young eyes search, search for a better tomorrow
Let belief lead the way and the angels follow
Open doors for the hopeful to go through
'Cause I was chosen and I'm supposed to
I know a change gonna come
The race begun, we're almost there, oh yeah
I know a change gonna come
The race begun, we're almost there, oh yeah
I spoke like a child, I wrote like a child
I always smile, let my mind float like a child
Wishin' I was smart as these kids are now
All grown up still wishin' I'm a child again
Church song reminded me to stay grateful
A [Incomprehensible] reminded me to stay playful
Day's go by, my life all high
I leave all my walks so the fight don't die
And me, I found a purpose why I MC
Inspire a young world to be greater than me
I fall awake and I dream a song
So the little shortys will sing along
I know a change gonna come
The race begun, we're almost there, oh yeah
I know a change gonna come
The race begun, we're almost there, oh yeah
Welcome children, welcome me
Your sentiments is felt in me
I see the future and the walking path
Don't let these fool take you off your path
Laugh if you need to, smile if you need to
Life is a trip ride long and proceed to
Try to believe to, do what you wanna do
Remember you're kings and queens and still humble to
Life isn't fun and you don't need to look back again
Victory can be claimed while you still battling
Travel on with the food I provide you
To awaken the voice that's inside you
I know a change gonna come
The race begun, we're almost there, oh yeah
I know a change gonna come
The race begun, we're almost there, oh yeah
Change is inevitable, you can't stop it
Change is happening in everybody's life
Change is like the furious hurricane that you can't stop
What is change? Change is Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi
Shakespeare, Tupac Shakur, Barack Obama
And you can't forget Common
Phil Ochs

Yea sleepy brown
What's here...
What's here...
Check it out (unh)
If I were u and u were me
Would u like what you see (ha, yea)
And tell me why u spread them lies
About my sexuality lil' old me
Just because u in my face
Doesn't mean u have to erase
What's inside of me oh can't u see
I don't pay it no mind
I'm just puttin' in my time
Until he sets me free (sets me free)
And then u'll see (you think you'll see)
Chorus:
Ain't nothin' but changes
Ain't nothin' but changes
Ain't nothin' but changes
Ain't nothin' but changes
And now it seems from everything
Someone has put a hold on me (umph, damn)
But I just try to keep my pride
Even though sometimes I cry (oh I cry)
But it seems u do me wrong
You never miss your well until your water is gone (it's all gone)
But I don't pay it no mind
I'm just puttin' in my time
Until he sets me free and then u'll see
Chorus
Yeah, sleepy brown, society of soul
Kickin' it with tlc
On that funk
That real
Y'all don't know nothin' about that
Y'all don't know nothin' about that (yeah, umph)
Music: Hansen, Scheepers, Schachter, Wessel
Lyrics: Hansen, Wessel
I need a new direction
Another thought to serve me right
My mind has got an infection
Where nothing can disturb me,
Where I am free, where I'm forever set
Maybe it's not important
If we are dead or alive.
I never ever wanna listen to the sirens
I'm alive, still alive.
Who says: we are not guilty
I say: we never know the way it goes
Chorus:
Changes - all around me, all inside my head
Changes - changing face, still remaining mad.
Changes -in all day routine.
Hard to enjoy the good times,
Decay is what I feel
God, it's makin' me porous, vanish in haze,
I wonder, wonder if I'm real.
Newflash - under the new regulations
Non-conformity will be punished by law.
Relax - and don't forget to unplug your TV set!
Sigh no more!
For you, you are not guilty,
No, no, you're not responsible at all.
Chorus:
Changes - all around me, all inside my head
Changes - changing face, still remaining mad.
Changes - changing systems, still insane.
Changes - but the madness will remain.
Who is the man who says I'm never gonna die?
It's a lie, it's a lie!
And who is the man who says, I never have a sigh?
It's a lie, it's a lie!
Oppression, resistance
We will never change our way,
The island in my mind is growin'
More and more, day after day.
Changes - all around me now, all inside me now
Changes - wanna cry no more, sigh no more.
If i could
I would undo everything i've done
I hurt you,
I know its true
with no thought,
I ruined alot
I made you sad, i mad you mad
I done blame you for hating me now
what i did was low
i dont know if this means anything to you
but i have to say
its my fault, i messed things up once again
you deserve more, you deserve the best
you mean so much to me
i knew what was right, i went to wrong
one night, meaning nothing
it could have been easy to leave.
no explenations
to late, nothing i can do,
I try and explain, but what good would that bring.
I done blame you for hating me now
what i did was low
i dont know if this means anything to you
but i have to say
its my fault, i messed things up once again
you deserve more, you deserve the best
i know, i messed up
im not trying to change how you feel
i deserve what your giving me
everything has become all to real
so you think its simple
but you may never understand
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say.
The big man got to change them say.
The small man got to change them say.
The politicians got to change them say.
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say.
Presidents got to change them say.
Governors got to change them say
Royal families got to change them say.
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say.
And the islands,

And foreign countries,
Two wrongs cannot make on right.

Sometimes all over, people got to change them say
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say.
Prime ministers got to change them say
The mayors got to change them say.
Senators got to change them say.
Sometimes, you got to look
For your congressman, to
Straighten things out.
Sometimes all over, people got to change them say
No more time to waste
And you know just wat to do
Leaving out the old
And picking up the new
And there is nothing to replace
Cause it's all inside of you (changes)
Mind finally awake
And you nah sleep no more
Now you know the dept of yourself
And even more in store
You have been rich
And you thought you were so poor (changes)
[Chorus:]
I can see the rain
Falling on my window pane
Hear this voice again
Don't worry bout tomorrow no
We wouldn't feel the same
This is to erase the pain
Hear this voice again
Go build a betta tomorrow yeah

See dem and recruit
And you know we nah go join dem
Eyes wide open
So we see between di line dem
Treseaurs well hidden
But we know where to find dem
Be not afraid
Speak wat is on your mind den
Mount lef and clear
Very hard to define dem
From any indecision
Yeah we need to decline dem
Take wat is yours
And leave wat is mine then
Living one day at a time den
[Chorus:]
I can see the rain
Falling on my window pane
Hear this voice again
Don't worry bout tomorrow no
We wouldn't feel the same
This is to erase the pain
Hear this voice again
Go build a betta tomorrow yeah
[Verse 3:]
No more time to waste
And you know just wat to do
Leaving out the old
And picking up the new
And there is nothing to replace
Cause it's all inside of you (changes)
Mind finally awake
And you nah sleep no more

Yes Don Corleone,
And Gentleman
We earn our future yah
Brrrrr
I try so hard each day to shed a little light
To keep each moment of my life both full and bright
Believing in the feeling that I know is right
And here's the reason why I feel so good tonight
I'm doing what I want to and it's part of me
Keeping close to Jesus, that's the way it's got to be
Knowing that this feeling will flow eternally
And what I am, is all I have to be
I'm goin' through changes
Changes in my mind
Holding on to good things that I find
I'm goin' through changes
Changes in my mind
And I'm leaving all my emptiness behind
With every word I hear there's no sympathy
It was destroyed and swept away
It is replaced by something I can't see
To stay forever and always
I'm going through changes
So many changes
I'm losing my senses don't know what to do
I'll go through my changes faster than you
We really should try and talk it out
Avoid the same mistake again
But I can see that there will be no doubt
Looks like we have reached the end
I'm going through changes
So many changes
I'm losing my senses don't know what to do
I'll go through my changes faster than you
Is there no one
Who feels the same as me?
I'm going through changes
So many changes
I'm losing my senses don't know what to do
I'm going through changes
So many changes
I'm losing my senses don't know what to do
I'm going through changes
Going through changes, yeah, yeah
Going through changes, yeah, yeah
Going through changes, yeah, yeah
Changes - Will Young
Gotta shake myself up here
I should run away, run away, run away
People say don’t ever go near
I can see the danger, I’m aware, I can see the danger
If I go back once again, it’s like I learned nothing
Standing at the front of the queue, heading for trouble
Hope it changes, I hope my life changes, gets alright somehow
Oh I’m waiting for tomorrow, I hope it changes
Can’t you stay the same
Been out of luck for so long, and I don’t get much
So there’s nothing much to lose
It’s like a record going round, yes it’s going around, going around, going around
I know I should wanna take it off, but I find it hard, why do I find it hard
I used to have a vision I was sitting somewhere up there
Looking down on myself, doing right for once in my life
It changes, I hope my life changes, gets alright somehow
Oh I’m waiting for tomorrow, I hope it changes
Can’t you stay the same
Been out of luck for so long, and I don’t get much
So there’s nothing much to lose
I just need a break a little one to get me up to watch the sun
And hey it’s peaceful here
Hope it changes, I hope my life changes, gets alright somehow
Oh I’m waiting for tomorrow, I hope it changes
Can’t you stay the same (Can’t you stay the same)
Been out of luck for so long (Can’t you stay the same)
Don’t get much so there’s nothing much to lose
Changes, oh I’m waiting for tomorrow
I hope it changes, can’t you stay the same
Changes, time's makin' changes in my life
Rearrangin', can't seem to stop the hands of time
I remember, I was so young, I was much too young to see
Now I'm older, growing older, and I see things differently
Oh can't you see, it's changin' you and me
[Chorus:]
Time's makin' changes, time's makin' changes in my life
Time's rearrangin', changin' you and me
Faces, strange faces cloud my mind
Empty traces, make it hard for me to find
Somewhere in the distance, is there someone who awaits
For that moment I am taken over by the hands of fate
Can't you see, the world is changin' me
[Chorus] - yeah yeah
Nothin' ever stays the same, it's always gonna change
I'm on my way, yeah yeah
[Solo]
Changes, time's makin' changes in my life
Rearrangin', always changin', can't seem to stop the hands of time
Can't you see, it's changin' everything
[Chorus] - yeah yeah
All or nothing
It's sometimes life's between what's undecided
And all for nothing
It seems I'm wasting my time
Don't look down on me
Like I don't know anything that I've been doing
You talk down to me
It's time you take a better look inside
I'll never be the same
I'm moving back onto my ways
I'm looking for changes into my way
Bow down to me
Taken your pride and stuff it down inside
Vows are ruined
Losing my faith, losing time
Better off you than me
I just can't stand another day when you're in my way
A long time brewing
It's time you kiss your ass goodbye
I'll never be the same
I'm moving back onto my ways
I'm looking for changes
I'll never be the same
I'm moving back onto my ways
I'm looking for changes into my way
I'll never be the same
I'm moving back onto my ways
I'm looking for changes
I'll never be the same
I'm moving back onto my ways
I'm looking for changes
I'm looking for changes into my way
Into my way
I feel unhappy I feel so sad I've lost the best friend That I ever had
She was my woman I loved her so But it's too late now I've let her go
I'm going through changes I'm going through changes
We shared the years We shared each day In love together We found the way
But soon the world Had it's evil ways My heart was blinded Love went to strain
I'm going through changes I'm going through changes
It took so long To realize And I can still hear Her last goodbye
Now all my days Are filled with tears Wish I could go back And change theese years
Dawn in a distant city
I'm wondering where you are today
Here in my waken dreams
So far away
Lovers walk hand in hand
Under an early morning sky
Reminding me where we've been
Sometime gone by
The miles we covered hard to hard
The days we drifted far apart
And we're still travelling through these changes
I'm getting closer to the truth
No matter where I go
Every road leads back to you
Whenever you think of me
Remember when you're the one who's gone
That I'll be the one to say
Don't stray too long
Soon we're coming around again
And do beginning from a different end
Still I'm ravelling through these changes
I'm getting closer to the truth
No matter where I go
Every road leads back to you, back to you, back to you
And in some other place in time
Were we star-crossed lovers
Given an other chance to find
You always let me through these changes, oh, changes
Through these changes
I'm getting closer to the truth
No matter where I go
Every road leads back to you, back to you
Through these changes
Every road leads back to you, back to you
No matter, no matter, no matter where I go
Every road leads back to you
Still ravelling, travelling through these changes
I'm getting closer to the truth
Back to you, back to you
Oh, no matter where I go
Every road leads back to you
Through these changes
I'm getting closer to the truth
And wondering where you are today
No matter where I go
If I ever give you all of me (if I ever)
Just a piece of me that you can see
Will you ever make a change for me?
A change in you is a change for me, baby
I said you ought to make a change
Find a way to love yourself
Open up your heart and mind
In there, you will find
The key to a new life
The words "I'm sorry"
Are said a thousand times
But what's it going to take
For you to change your life around?
If you truly want to be happy
Then recognize in yourself
There's a true gift from life
The truth in life
It just a piece of me that you can see
Will you ever make a change for me?
Change in you is a change for me (oh yes)
Take a longer look at yourself
Find the hidden truth and let it exhale
Let me lead the way (uh oh oh oh)
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets
Every time I thought I'd got it made
It seems the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I've never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I'm much too fast to take that test
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Ch-ch-changes
Don't have to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Ch-ch-changes
Don't want to be a better man
Time may change me
But I can't trace time
I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
So the days flow through my eyes
But the days still seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consolations
They're quite aware of what they're going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Ch-ch-changes
Don't tell them to grow up and out of it
Ch-ch-changes
Where's your shame
You've left us up to our necks in it
Time may change them
But you can't trace time
Strange fascination, fascinating me
Changes are taking the pace I'm going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Ch-ch-changes
Look out you rock 'n' rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Ch-ch-changes
Pretty soon you're gonna get a little older
Time may change me
(claude s.)
Different words upon the
Page, written faithfully like
Yesterday.
I'm still thinking of a past.
Just how long does this expect
To last?
I was once a simple man.
I had everything,
You understand?
All those things I chose inside,
Turned to blood and stone
From all the lies.
I will never be the same,
I will never be the same,
I will never be the same,
I will have seen the changes
Once again...
Sit by my side come as close as the air sharing a memory of grey
And wander in my words and dream about the pictures that I play of changes
Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall to brown and to yellow they fade
And then they have to die trapped within the circle time parade of changes
Moments of magic will glow in the night all fears of the forest are gone
For when the morning breaks they're swept away by golden drops of dawn of changes
Passions will part to a warm melody as fires will sometimes turn cold
Like petals in the wind we're puppets to the silver strings of souls of changes
Your tears will be trembling now we're somewhere else one last cup of wine we will pour
I knew her when summer was her crown
And autumn sad
How brown her eyes...
See her walk by
Peppermint coat
Button-down clothes
Buttoned-up high
Diamonds and stones
Hang from her hand
Isn't she smart?
Isn't she grand?
I knew her when summer was her crown
And autumn sad
How brown her eyes...
I knew her when winter was her cloak
And spring her voice
She spoke to me...
Silver and gold
Strawberry clothes
Money will buy
Something to hold
See in her eyes
Nothing will last
Like emerald stones
And platinum clasp
I knew her when summer was her crown
And autumn sad
How brown her eyes...
I knew her when winter was her cloak
And spring her voice
She spoke to me...
Silver and gold
Strawberry clothes
Money will buy
Something to hold
See in her eyes
Nothing will last
Like emerald stones
And platinum clasp
I knew her when summer was her crown
And autumn sad
How brown her eyes...
I knew her when winter was her cloak
And spring her voice
She spoke to me...
I knew her when summer was her crown
And autumn sad
I'm not suposed to be scared of anything, but I don't know where I am
I wish that I could move but I'm exhausted and nobody understands (how I feel)
I'm trying hard to breathe now but there's no air in my lungs
There's no one here to talk to and the pain inside is making me numb
I try to hold this Under control
They can't help me 'Cause no one knows
Now I'm going through changes, changes
God, I feel so frustrated lately
When I get suffocated, save me
Now I'm going through changes, changes
I'm feeling weak and weary walking through this world alone
Everything you say, every word of it, cuts me to the bone
I've got something to say, but now I've got no where to turn
It feel like I've been buried underneath all the weight of the world
I try to hold this Under control
They can't help me 'Cause no one knows
Now I'm going through changes, changes
God, I feel so frustrated lately
When I get suffocated, save me
Now I'm going through changes, changes
I'm blind and shakin'
Bound and breaking
I hope I make it through all these changes
Now I'm going through changes, changes
God, I feel so frustrated lately
When I get suffocated, save me
Now I'm falling apart, now I feel it
Now I'm going through changes, changes
God, I feel so frustrated lately
When I get suffocated, I hate this
But I'm going through changes, changes
I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I've lost the best friend
That I ever had
She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go
I'm going through changes
We shared the years
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world
Had it's evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray
I'm going through changes
It took so long
To realize
And I can still hear
Her last good byes
Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years
Chorus
Something’s changing my life in the night,
I don’t know what it is yall,
I’m believing it’s Christ he is the light
Who ever would a thought yall
I’m not a dark child just a wild out abounds
Sabotaged God helped me out, beating down turned around
Deep down my soul, each round I go
No peace at home, falling domino
Rolled with the wind tossed in the sin
Coughing, head’s moshing, thoughts banging
Hanging with my crew and, who’s true man
I’m choosing my future groupings Losing my sight looking for life
The fatherless type I might like to iiiii…..
Suicides in my thoughts each step I walk
Swallow alcohol with pills to with drawl
It all changed in the night time, the right place
The right time encounters divine see the signs
Die or live hostage, destinies calling
I let this God in, and pose pone an early coffin
Chorus
Something’s changing I’m aging maintain my saneness
I can’t explain it, my life’s turning pages Yo SCRATCHES
Waking up freaking out, hearing sounds out my mouth
It’s not freestyle vocal chords peaking out
Call the executionist bomb unit
I got new sense to influence, yo ye life lose it
News out my radar they say I got God
Escape the chaos masturbating I stopped jerking off
Halt hold pause falls, calls cuts and cussing
Juggling, knees buckling, pain suck it in
If I’m a new man, the old is ruined
What I’m do a do a do doing
I’m different or I’m just tripping
Limited living edition
Falling on my face, falling on my face
It’s a life cycle dark to light like Michael
Down night all, or Christ read the bible
Enlightening my the thoughts minds on a higher force
I got a friend at the bar
his name is Ray
and I really don't know
what he's trying to say
His skin is black
mine is white
to me there's no difference
wrong or right
Told me he leave
the girl at the curb
Told me never to speak an unkind word
My brother's got rhythm
I got the blues but
Babe we love to live the life that we choose
But now I know what they was trying to say
I gotta change my life
change my ways
Solo
Now I know what they were trying to say
I gotta change my life
change my ways
Now when the night comes babe
you know I'll be found
I'll be playing the blues on every stage in town
And theres a song to be played
and theres a song to be sung
'cause there's a little lovin' boy
in everyone
Solo
This time in between the day and the night
the light kills my sense of life
so scared, turn it off, turn it off
It's dull, this dusk, this desk, this dust
My eyes adjust
I'll blow out the flame
Can you and me remain?
Changes, never been good with change
I hate it when it all stays the same
caught between the gold and the game
Changes, never been good with change
I hate it when it all stays the same
caught between the cold and the waves
My heart beats up, again
Once said, words make a world of their own
I misread
I can't get you back on the phone
I'm so tired, so turn it off, turn it off
How's that, last week we were home
you're far away
and I hardly know
Can you and me delay?
Changes, never been good with change
I hate it when it all stays the same
caught between the gold and the game
Changes, never been good with change
troubled when it all stays the same
caught between this cold and the waves
My heart beats up, again
Are you my trouble
Aight I want you to sing
Life changes on a daily bases, every minute every
Life changes on a daily bases
every minute every hour still we try to save it (aight, aight, aight)
Life changes on a daily bases
Every minute every hour still we try to save it
But I gotta keep moving and make it
Heaven good, Lord knows life is crazy
Happy New Year people (people)
The ball done dropped, guess you can say the new year's legal (yep)
Shit my resolution was (what)
Do everything I been doing, better than I usually does (yep)
My momma knew I was (was)
Everything I knew I was, I was destined for greatness
I knew I would be rescued by greatness (uh huh)
My first album was too farfetched for the matrix (couldn't touch it)
Now it's all simple, checkers and basics (basics)
21 blackjack check for the aces (uh)
21 cats act I'm checkin for faces
Brought 21 gats back like them was the faces (damn)
21 gats clap left em' in braces
With his shoes tied but he never had laces (damn)
We was just trying to bar-b-q out there
But he started like I wouldn't start a bar-b-q out there (damn)
Like I wouldn't make him dodge a few out there {yea}
Good thing the car was parked out there {oh yea, oh yea}
I'm just trying to enjoy the fun in my life
Plus now I got a lil son in my life (shit)
Thats the one in my life, that keeps me up in the night
Writing these rhymes so he can live a comfortable life
Cam got to feed him and lil cam (yep)
Jim got to feed him and lil jim (yep)
Zeke got to feed him and lil zeke (yep)
Now I got to feed me and lil me (yep)
And these kids eat like lil beasts
They grow every hour need clothes every hour
Thats why I got to make dough every hour
Do a show every hour hit the road every hour
Two flights a day (day)
I'm in states so far that if you drove it'll be two nights away (cali)
Who nice as me shit blue ice on me
And when I land shit new viper grey
I'm so great when I do it
I sold flame to the fluid, lit it made it my music
Thats fire (ha ha)
Who could deny it', who could apply it' (apply it)
Same pressure that I do if you could then try it (try it)
Shit you just tryin to flood the pipe
I'm tryin to apply so much pressure that I bust the pipe (BUST)
And I done bust the pipe
Wide open cause (Life changes on a daily bases yea)
I'm just tryin to feed my family
Just tryin to be all I can be
Just tryin to survive these crazy streets
Times is hard but it's gonna get better trust me
I've been struggling all my life
Makin these songs to get these right
In studios morning till night
I want somethin' like I remember
And I want somethin', that lasts forever
I remember times you said
That you'd be true to me
Look at how the weather's changin'
(Changes, changes)
Look how it's changin'
(Changes, changes)
(Changes, changes)
I'm accustomed to your deception
Comes the rule with no exception
And I've been dragged across the river
Running far and wide
Come and see how I feel inside
(Changes, changes)
Look how it's changin'
(Change, changes)
(Changes, changes)
Change for the better
Change for the worse
Changes with summer and fall
Now you're a stranger
Spare me some change
So I can find someone to call my own
Changes, changes
Changes, changes
Changes, changes
Changes, changes
Changes, changes
Changes, changes
And now that winter has fallen upon us
(Changes, changes)
I need somethin' that's warm and honest
(Changes, changes)
And if I found someone who thinks
That they'll be true to me
I really wouldn't wanna change it
(Changes, changes)
Look how it's changin'
(Changes, changes)
(Changes, changes)
I have seen, I have seen
What these changes mean to me
If you're thinkin' of changin'
If you're thinkin' of stayin' with me
We need to agree
We need to make some changes
We need what we need
Do I need you? Do you need me?
Changes, these changes
Changes, these changes
Changes, these changes
These miles tear me away,
From the comfort and the home
That you've taken from me
And all that's left is broken memories
I'll tear this building down,
Don't try to stand in my way,
You're all alone,
and that's the price you pay.
I'm not afraid to let go.
She said that I told you so,
I've gotta break all these ties,
Before I die.
You're not the person I loved,
You're just an ignorant fake
who would never become,
Someone who got the best of me.
I'll give you space,
That you never wanted.
You'll never hear from me again.
I'm not afraid to let go.
She said that I told you so,
I've gotta break all these ties,
Before I die.
You are something that I can live without,
And now you're out there alone.
I'm not afraid to let go.
She said that I told you so,
I've gotta break all these ties,
Não vou lamentar, o que passou passou
Eu vou embora, meu tempo acabou
Tenho muita coisa para descobrir
Eu sinto muito mas tenho que ir
Vou indo porque nada mais me prende aqui
É o final do show
E não fique magoado porque vou partir
É só o jeito que eu sou
Changes lá vem meu trêm
Vem meu trêm
To saindo fora porque eu vou me dar bem
Changes lá vem meu trêm
Vem meu trêm
Sei que tá na hora e eu vou me dar bem
Sempre em frente, nunca pra trás
Não é por nada não mas vou me divertir
Enquanto a vida assim permitir
Só procurar, fazer amigos do bem se precisar, ajudar tb
E agora a liberdade e o horizonte
Livre eu me sinto, sublime
Gente mais gente
O mar e o céu azul
Changes lá vem meu trêm
Vem meu trêm
Tô saindo fora e eu sei que vou me dar bem
Changes lá vem meu trêm
Vem meu trêm
Tô saindo fora e eu sei que vou me dar bem
Sempre em frente, nunca pra trás
Sempre em frente, nunca pra trás
(Verse 1)
A pain inside, that`s hard to hide
A sickness that just, hits your pride
All the scenes, they seem so real
I don`t know what to, think or feel
(Chorus)
How could this happen?
How could this be?
It`s time to take a look inside of me
To see what`s right
To see what`s wrong
To make a change
And becoming strong
(Verse 2)
The pain and anguish, that I have felt
Makes me wonder, what hand I have been dealt, yeah
No one in this world has felt my pain
A million tears, they fall like rain
-Chorus
(Bridge)
All the tears I`ve cried
A swallowing pain inside
All will become, a distant memory
When all is said and done
I`ll be the only one
And no one will be, stronger than...me!
-Solo
Changes are happening
It's too late to turn back
What you had in mind
Is turning into something of another kind
Changes are happening
All over the place
Feels like you were slapped
By a big hand in the face
No need to understand
It's far too late
Just let it go
Your only choice is to abdicate
Changes are happening
It's too late to turn back
Changes are happening
The surface begins to crack
What you had in mind
Is turning into something of another kind
Remember when you were a kid
Playing in the yard
No fence was high enough
To stop you moving forward
It's the same situation now
Nothing can stop you
Just go, go now
Changes are happening
It's too late to turn back
Changes are happening
The surface begins to crack
What you had in mind
Is turning into something of another kind
Just dream anything you want to say
Make up the rules for the games you choose to play
Just dream anything you ever want to say
Make up the rules for the games you choose to play
Changes...
The truth's right there
Right in front of your eyes
You can't pretend it was a big surprise
And don't pretend it was a big surprise
Changes ...
Changes are happening now
It's all over the place
What you had in mind
You are a young man
And you're eager to seek
A way to let the world
Know what you think
The lesson learned
Is not taught in a school
You have to start out first
By being the fool
[Chorus:]
But I see changes
They happen every day
And I see change
Coming your way
You give your life away
For what in return
A chance to see your name
In lights, while you learn
Your manager is home
And working a way
To keep you on the road
And moving day to day
[Chorus]
You work yourself to death
So you can have a home
You put your money aside
To call it all your own
You finally save enough
And you think you're gonna advance
Turn around, there's Uncle Sam
He's got his hand down your pants
[Chorus 2x]
Maybe some change
Is all that we need
Change is coming to help us succeed
Change happens every day
Change happens every day
Now, you want me
to need you
I know
Incompletely
So sweetly
You go
No change
in sight
You’re still
uptight
Don’t close your eyes
on me
So, uniquely
Concretely
Secure
Pressed against me
So tensely
Assured
No change
in sight
You’re still
uptight
Don’t close your eyes
on me
Love is going out of style
Please stop wasting time
Forgotten for a while
My heart stops on a dime
What a crime
Boo Hoo
Still no change
in sight
You’re still
uptight
Don’t close your eyes
So much confusion in this life I've been living
It makes me wonder what I'm searching for
Reflections of my past present and future
Things that always seem to haunt my soul
Born and raised in the slums of the world
One side of life is all I've ever known
The hard core truth it's a struggle for life yeah
That's the only thing I've ever been shown
Gotta find the key to free my mind
Could it set me free?
Is it so hard to know
You can look but will you find
Oh my god
I just can't lose control
Deception of the blind
I try so hard to find the answers
But I know that it's in my heart
Now I know that I shall come to see the truth
As I drift into my dreams
Got to make the changes
Out of darkness into light
Cut these ropes that bind us
Hope the truth can free us from the pain
I try so hard
To find the answer
But I know that they're in my heart
We've got to make the changes
First we have to look within
We've got to make the changes
It's a place we must begin
The changes must start in my heart
Oh, everybody goes through changes, yes
Oh, changes baby
You know, lately I've been going through changes
And sometimes, you just gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Just make sure you're sure
I was in a situation, it was a little too much for me
To handle all the pressure that one can get
When you were too in love
I was always falling in and out and in and out of love
There were emotions so strong
And sometimes you just gotta let go, yeah
Many times before I felt all alone
I know life's unfair but girl I'm true to myself
Baby can't you see you've been hurting me?
Now, just let me walk out of the door
Everybody goes through changes
Sometimes you gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Just make sure that you don't wanna come back for more
Everybody goes through changes
Sometimes you gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Just make sure that you're sure
And though I've been having some problems
I don't know which way to go
'Cause everyone has their way
Of dealing with the things they do, oh
And I was always looking for excuses everywhere
Acting like I didn't care
But now I'm searching for somebody new
So, leave me alone girl
Many times before I felt all alone
I know life's unfair but girl I'm true to myself
Baby can't you see, you've been hurting me
Now, just let me walk right out of the door
Everybody goes through changes
Sometimes you gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Make sure that you don't wanna come back for more
Everybody goes through changes
Sometimes you gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Just make sure that you're sure
Everybody goes through changes
Sometimes you gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Just make sure that you don't wanna come back for more
Everybody goes through changes
Sometimes you gotta let go
But before you leave the one you love
Just make sure that you're sure
Gotta let you go
Oh yeah
Still don’t know what I was lookin for
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets
Every time I thought I’d got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I’ve never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I’m much too fast to take that test
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Don’t want to be a richer one
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Just gonna have to be a different one
Time may change me
But I can’t trace time
I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
So the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
They're immune to your consultations
They’re quite aware of what they’re going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Don’t tell them to grow up and out of it
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Where’s your shame
You’ve left us up to our necks in it
Time may change me
But you can’t trace time
Strange fascination, fascinating me
Ah changes are taking the pace I’m going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Oh, look out you rock ’n rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Pretty soon now you’re gonna get a little older
Time may change me
But I can’t trace time
I said that time may change me
Everything changes,
remember when humans had to live in cages
and now we own our own stages
time, yes age turns our pages (2x)
Looking out of my window, chilling warm relaxing my speed
Watching the people right back down on the streets
Asking myself how I feel as I see d living passing me
Everybody in his own but on the whole Life is still the same
Happy Family a boy loves a girl a mother breastfeeding her child
A taxidriver has just lost his job
And still it is not a matter of this world being
People manifest within themselves
Chorus:
Everything changes,
remember when humans had to live in cages
And now we own our own stages
Time, yes age turns our pages
A mother gives birth to her baby,
in that moment sche feels it ist her one and only property
She’d hold on it
She’ll do anything to protect it from insecurity
Just like seeds develope into flowers
And children develope into adults
Love can turn into hate and the truth u see could be deceit
Consequences do not arise without a cause
Causes could make u win or loose
Chorus 2x
What u make outta it is what u become
Some happy some are lonesome
Changes, changes always comes
What do you think of me
Now that you know who I am
What do you think of me
What do you think of that plan
That we had for so long
Why did it have to change
(Chorus)
I'm still the same
your the one whose changed
I'm still the same
Your rearranged
How is it so hard to forget
What people say
When they say it face to face
I can't change the truth
You can't change the truth
I'm all I'll ever be
(Chorus)
You just wish that you could change time
But now you can't
When everyone laughed at me
Oh you laughed at me too
Tried ta treat chu right
But it seems your never satisfied
I tried to give you my all
But it seems no matter what i could not give enough
All you do is complain
All the time and its drivin me insane
You jus gotta clown
Turn the things all around what is this about...
Chours:
I could be nice girl
Just wanna treat you right girl
But all we do is fight girl
Why you takin me through all these changes
Thought chu was the one girl
But chu tried to front girl
Look at what chu done girl
Why do we go through all these changes
I could not begin to comprehend on whats goin on inside your head
Girl you out of your mind
Accusin me all the time of messin around on you on the side
You need to chill would you please
Get over you insecuritys
Girl its bugging me
Don't know what chu thinkin bout
Can you help me out?
Tried ta be nice girl
Jus wanna treat chu right girl
But all we do is fight girl
Why you takin me through all these changes
Thought you was the one girl
But chu tried to front girl
Look at what chu done girl
Why do we go through all these changes
I wanna know whats goin on with you
Whats wrong?
Tell me whats the deal whats up
Cause I think I have justified love
I know I could do
I know that i've been good to you
But it seems you don't appreciate me
I can't go without chu
Cause it ain't no use
You got me so confused
I really thought I knew you
Repeat til end:
Tried ta be nice girl
Jus wanna treat chu right girl
But all we do is fight girl
Why you takin me through all these changes
Thought you was the one girl
But chu tried to front girl
Look at what chu done girl
I feel unhappy
I am so sad
I lost the best friend
That I've ever had
She is my baby
I love her so
But it's to late now
I've let her go
We're going through changes (ohh -
We're going through changes (ahh -
We've shared the years
We've shared each day
I love you daddy
But I found my way
You know the world
Is an evil place
My baby is grown now
She's found her way
(ohh ahh -
We're going through changes (ohh -
We're going through changes (ohh -
(ahh -
It took so long
To realize
I can still hear
His last goodbyes
Now all my days
I'm filled in fears
Wish I could go back
And change the years
We're going through changes
We're going through changes (changes -
We're going through... Changes
Changes
Changes
There better be some changes
And it better happen today
Cause all the shit I see
There's got to be another way
We need some positive changes
There's been enough for the worst
You losers better watch your back
Because we're taking out the drunks first
When temptation, pressure come along
Just remember we're thousands strong
I've always been sincere,
For the scene is what I live
Get the fuck out,
If you have nothing positive to give
We need the kids who don't use that crutch
Put down that beer, is it asking too much?
I found the edge some nine years ago
I learned I don't need drugs
I learned to say no
It's all right to be different from your friends
So i've tried out all the pick me ups and i've sipped red wine from a dixie cup but i cant change, i cant change.
I need to see things ive seen in pictures instead of hangin 'round like a mess in the kitchen i cant change, i cant change.
Oh the list of things i've never done, keeps getting longer, tired of trying to put it off until tommorow, this has got to change.
Somewhere theres gotta be something waiting for me, out there's gotta be something more to show me, the list of things ive never done, keeps getting longer, this cant stay the same
I'm in the corner of the room like a pile of dust, i got a voice in my head screaming this is enough, but i cant change, i cant change
Watchin tv like a kick in the nuts you gotta be a brain surgeon or an astronaut, but i cant change, i cant change
Oh the list of things i've never done, keeps getting longer, tired of trying to put it off until tommorow, this has got to change.
Somewhere theres gotta be something waiting for me, out there's gotta be something more to show me, the list of things ive never done, just keeps getting longer, this cant stay the same
Some things cant stay the same (x4)
Well some things gotta change (x4)
somethings gotta change
So i've tried out all the pick me ups and i've sipped red wine from a dixie cup but i cant change, i cant change.
Life is gonna show you
The lessons that you learn
And there's stories left behind you
But the page has yet to turn
And it's true what they say
Nothing ever says the same
And you begin to see as time goes by
Chorus:
That we change and we grow
And no matter how we try
Sometimes we fall
So have faith never wait too long
'Cause too long might be too late
And tommorow is too fast away
Well there's signs all around you
Be patient don't give in (move close)
Someone's gonna find you
Let a whole new day begin
There's a long way to go
Don't look back until you're home
Cause you'll never know if you don't
That we change and we grow
And no matter how we try
Sometimes we fall
So have faith never wait too long
'Cause too long might be too late
And tommorow is too fast....
Away
Yeah we try to hide it
You wonder how you'll face the world today
Reach out, when it's real you'll feel it
Jump in the fire, live with desire
You can't rest, why wait another day
That we change (we change) and we grow (we grow)
And no matter how we try
Sometimes we fall (no matter how we try)
So have faith never wait too long
'Cause too long might be too late (too late)
And tommorow is too fast away
I close my eyes, and say goodbye to the day
And I'm feeling older, but I've missed it all somehow
And I begin to wonder if we've forgotten all about
Why are we here and what we should know
These things that we fear are only the unknown
And I'm looking to the son and I'm asking if he knows
Of wonderful places where everyone's supposed to go?
And the seams have come undone, scattered pieces of my soul
Now the pressure is taking it's toll
Changing reasons - Changing through time
Won't come between us
And it's changing our lives
And the winter's colder
And all of life evolves around
And as the world grows colder
And more clues to life are found
Why we are here and what we should know
These things that we fear are only the unknown
And I'm looking to the son and I'm asking if he knows
Of wonderful places where everyone's supposed to go?
And the seams have come undone, scattered pieces of my soul
Now the pressure is taking it's toll
Changing reasons - Changing through time
Won't come between us
And it's changing our lives
Won't come between us, I close my eyes and fade away
And I say goodbye to the day
And I'm looking to the son and I'm asking if he knows
Of the wonderful places where everyone's supposed to go
Why we are here and what we should know
These things that we fear are only the unknown
And I'm looking to the son and I'm asking if he knows
Of wonderful places where everyone's supposed to go?
And the seams have come undone, scattered pieces of my soul
Now the pressure is taking it's toll
Changing reasons - Changing through time
Won't come between us
Won't come between us
I don't know who you are
It's almost like we're strangers
I've had enough of you
You treated me like a fool
I don't know who you are
I should have seen the dangers
I can't get over you
You treated me like you do
There's been some changes
There's been some changes
I don't know who you are
It's almost like we're strangers
I've had for you
You treated me like a fool
I don't know who you are
I should have seen the dangers
I can't get over you
You treated me like you do
There's been some changes
There's been some changes
There's been some changes
There's been some changes
It's almost like we're strangers
It's almost like we're strangers
Aliens in different spaces
There's been some changes
There's been some
There's been some
There's been some
There's been some changes
It's almost like we're strangers
It's almost like we're strangers
(There's been some changes)
Aliens in different places
There's been some changes
It's almost like we're strangers
It's almost like we're strangers
(There's been some changes)
Nobody's born evil
We all possess some good
I think we have intentions
To live the way we should
But I fade inside
when you look at me
and say you think I am naive
Just because I have faith and empathy
Changes, from all I know
Changes, from all I knew
You're changing
And I recognize no longer where I am in you
You think I have no dignity
When I am down on my knees
Compassion deserting me
You don't care for how I feel
Changes, from all I know
Changes, from all I knew
You're changing
Well I stayed up all night
I've been doing it for years
Sleep is not my friend 'cause dreams just feed my tears
So I laughed my way around
I've been everybody's girl
I drank for forgiveness till I drank up the world
Change
Nobody's here to hold me
Change
And the morning's cold and lonely
But I think I can change my life
Change
There's a light outside my window
Peepin' through the blinds
There's a life out there worth livin'
But there's nothing here to find
Just a book of people's numbers
That are just as scared as me
Dialing for a dimes worth
Of pain and company
Change
Nobody's here to hold me
Change
And the morning's cold and lonely
But I think I can change my life
Change
No matter where I turn
There's no escape I see
I'm just staring in this mirror
And that stranger can't be me
But I think I can change my life
You'll see a change in me
Well I'm sittin' in this room
With my cigarettes and wine
I'm out of all the other stuff
And now I'm running out of time
Change
Nobody's here to hold me
Change
I'm so cold and so lonely
But I think I can change my life
ooh, yeeeaaa, ooh
cmon, cmon
i see no changes
wake up in tha mornin and i ask myself
is life worth livin or should i blast myself?
im tired of bein poor, and even worse, im black, my stomach hurts
so im lookin for a purse to snatch
cops give a damn about a negro
pull tha trigga, kill a nigga hes a hero
give tha crack to the kids who the hell cares
one less ugly mouth on the welfare
first ship em dope, that im dealin bruthas
give em guns step back watch em kill each other
its time to fight back thats what huey said
2 shots in the dark now hueys dead
i got love for my brutha but we could neva go nowhere
unless we share wit each otha
we gotta start makin changes
learn to see me as a brutha instead of 2 distant strangas
and thats how its sposed to be
how could the devil take a brutha if hes close to me
uh, i'd love to go back to when we played as kids
but thangs changed
and thats the way it is
Chorus
cmon, cmon
thats just the way it is
thangs will never be tha same
thats just the way it is
aw yeah
and yeah
oh my, oh my
thats just the way it is
thangs will never be tha same, neva be tha same yea yea yea
aw yea, thats just the way it is
aw yea
i see no changes
all i see is racist faces
misplaced hate
makes disgrace to races
we unda
i wunda wut it takes to make this
one betta place lets erase tha wasted
take the evil out the people theyll be actin right
cuz both black and white
is smokin crack tonight
and the only time we chill is when we kill each other
it takes skill to be real time to heal each otha
and even though it seems heaven sent
we aint ready to see a black president, uh
it aint a secret dont conceale
the factor
penitenturys packed
and its filled with blacks
but some thangs will neva change
try ta show anutha way
but ya stayin in tha dope game
now tell me whats a mutha to do
Bein real dont appeal to the brutha in you
You gotta operate the easy way
I made a G today
But ya made it in a sleazy way
Sellin crack to the kids
I gotta get paid
Well hey well thats the way it is
Chorus
Cmon cmon
Thats just the way it is
Thangs will neva be the same
Thats just the way it is
aw yea
and yeah
Oh my, oh my
Thats just the way it is
Thangs will neva be tha same, neva be tha same yea yea yea
Thats just the way it is
Aw yea
You gotta make a change
It's time for us, the people to start makin some changes
Lets change the way we eat
Lets change the way we live
And lets change the way we treat each other
You see the old way wasnt workin so its on us
To do what we gotta do to survive
And still i see no changes
Cant a brutha get a little peace
Its war on the streets and its war in the middle east
Instead of way of poverty
They got a war on drugs
So the police cant botha me
And i aint neva did a crime i aint hafta do
But now back wit tha glacks, givin it back to you
Don't betta jack you up, back you up, crack you up
Or pimp slack you up
You gotta learn to hold ya own
They get jealous when they see ya with ya mobile phone
Well tell tha cops cant touch this
I dont trust this
When they try ta rush i bust this
Thats the sound of my two
You say it aitn coo
My mama didnt raise no fool
And as long as i stay black
I gotta stay strapped
And i neva get ta lay back
Cuz i always gotta worry bout tha payback
Some buck
that i ruffed up way back
Come back afta all these years
Rat tat tat tat tat
Thats the way it is
Thats just the way it is
Thangs will neva be tha same
Thats just the way it is
aw yeah
You my brutha your my sista
Thats just the way it is
Thangs will neva be tha same
Thats just the way it is
aw yeah
I remember days
We used to dance barefoot on the graves
Talk about love and future
Finally waiting for another winter
I remember times
We felt sorry about the things we love
About crimes we didn't commit
Just to be guilty for anything
What are you looking for
What is it worth
Was it really worth
What do you think?
Everything
Everything everything changes
Everything
Everything everything changes
But I always stay the same
I remember signs we didn't want to see
Friends we didn't want to lose
Goals unable to reach, we lost
While living somebody else's live
Longing for the day to come
When nothing really matters anymore...
What are you looking for
What is it worth
Was it really worth
What do you think?
Everything
Everything everything changes
Everything
Everything everything changes
Changes
All of these changes
But I'm here to tell you
Don't be afraid
Just like a sunrise
The light of a new day
Step out of the darkness
And let it show you the way
Nobody knows
Nobody cares
Whether you live or die in vain
Nobody knows
Nobody cares from where you came
Life's little game
Changes
All of these changes
Not making it easy
To say what I mean
But now I've got your love
Taking on my love
Filling the spaces
Left in between you and me
Nobody knows
Nobody cares
Whether you live or die in vain
Nobody knows
Nobody cares from where you came
Everyone is going through changes
No one knows what's going on.
And everybody changes places-
But the world still carries on.
Love must always change to sorrow
And everyone must play the game,
It's here today and gone tomorrow-
But the world goes on the same.
Now love must always change to sorrow...
And everyone must play the game,
It's here today and gone tomorrow-
Everyone is facing changes,
No one knows what's going on,
And everyone is changing places,
Still the world keeps moving on.
Love must always change to sorrow,
And everyone must play the game,
Because it's here today and gone tomorrow,
Still the world goes on the same.
Love must always turn to sorrow,
And everyone must play the game,
Because it's here today and gone tomorrow,
Still, the world goes on the same.
It's here today and gone tomorrow,
Is it so hard for you to turn around
And make the right decisions you never even attempted to try?
Some people go their whole lives
Without changing or rearranging
Is it so hard to be your self?
Is it something you can't do?
Somehow we have managed to
Over look that point of view
Quit all your bitching I wont let it phase me
Your lazy and smoked out and so complicated
Some people go their whole lives without changing
Inside they're screaming for some rearranging
Is it so hard to be your self?
Is it something you can't do?
Somehow we have managed to
Over look that point of view
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes, lets go
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
And time was never on your side, how could you move on?
You tried to leave it all behind, you left me there alone
And every time I close my eyes, I'm living with myself
And still you need me and I cant help
Is it so hard to be your self?
Is it something you can't do?
Somehow we have managed to
Over look that point of view
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes, lets go
And I don't want any changes
And I don't want any changes
Changes - I know you think you've got me where you want me
Tied up in the chains you know I can't shake free.
Caught up in the trap you call affection.
Now I've seen it all just take your hands off me - changes
changes.
Someday somehow there's gonna be some changes
You can scream and shout but you don't have the right to tell me.
Here and now there's gonna be you're gonna see some changes
Changes
changes.
You just don't have the right
you won't hurt me tonight.
Trustling you it all adds up to nothing
Dealing with the lies it's all a part of you.
Promises that should have come to something
But I don't need your empty-headed attitude - changes
changes.
Someday somehow there's gonna be some changes
. . .
Someday somehow there's gonna be some changes
. . .
Someday somehow there's gonna be some changes
. . .
You just don't have the right
you won't hurt me tonight.
Changes
Changes in my life
I won`t leave you behind
Changes in my life
You will see in time
Changes in my life
You`re always on my mind
Changes in my life
I got you by my side
There`re so many changes in my life
I don`t know if it`s wrong or if it`s right
And i want you, want you be my side
Everything it`s gonna be alright
Changes in my life
I won`t leave you behind
Changes in my life
You will see in time
Changes in my life
You`re always on my mind
Changes in my life
I got you by my.. x 2
Oh yeah
Mm
Still don't know what I was waiting for
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets and
Every time I thought I'd got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I've never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I'm much too fast to take that test
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Don't want to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Just gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me
But I can't trace time
I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
So the days float through my eyes
But stil the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Don't tell them to grow up and out of it
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Where's your shame
You've left us up to our necks in it
Time may change me
But you can't trace time
Strange fascination, fascinating me
Ah changes are taking the pace I'm going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Oh, look out you rock 'n rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strange)
Ch-ch-changes
Pretty soon now you're gonna get a little older
Time may change me
But I can't trace time
I said that time may change me
But I can't trace time
Changes change
Are the streets alive
Have you been to those places
Does it hurt your eyes
When you look in their faces
And I don't know who makes the rules
Isn't anything sacred
Can't you see we're blue
Can't you see we're blue
Changes change
I often think of change
And of faraway places
Nothing ventured nothing gained
But I'm an escapist
So I'll ask the ones up high
What are they gonna do
Still the people cry
Nothin' here is new
Changes change
Yes it's time after time after time
You took a walk in my world
I see the crime after crime after crime
Yet still we are unheard
I count the days since you walked away
But nothing seems equal to me
Since that day nothings's been the same
But now I see it's time for a change
And even though it seems so wrong
I have to rise and overcome
Now I can't feel you anymore
I'm buried underground
I know things won't be like before
But help me now and dig me out
Oh how I wish that you could be along
But you're alone and where you belong
I'll find a way, a way to carry on
Walk my own path and find my new home
Still I count days since you walked away
But I feel dead, nothing touches me
I know that things won't ever be the same
So now I know it's time for a change
Pick up the pieces that you left broken
But these words won't remain unspoken
Cause I can't feel you
All I wanted was to have you along
But you're alone and where you belong
I've found a home, a place where I'll grow strong
Every life must have a reason
So I thought the story goes
Just holding onto dreams now,
As reality steals the show
Wisdom such an asset,
But it’s gained too late in life
The prize of youth without control
Just the blade but not the knife
The challenge is here,
Don’t say what you fear
What’s over the hill do you know
No longer the child, once where so wild
Wait for the hold man to show
I wake up every morning,
Though I’ve slept through
All of these years
A cog that turns another,
Am I clockwork puppeteer?
The treadmill of surviving
I’m still spinning round and round
The motions I’m use to,
That I need no sight nor sound
The dawn of life, I’ve waited long to see
Now the figure of resentment,
This is not how I thought it would be…….
Can’t you see?
The challenge is here,
Don’t say what you fear
What’s over the hill do you know
No longer the child, once where so wild
Wait for the hold man to show
The truth in the eyes, still wear the disguise
For the wonders you may never see
It’s high time to fear, the final frontier
The face in the crowd is now me
I painted life by numbers,
Every color mixed so true
But how could I paint a rainbow,
When all I saw, it’s was blue
The picture now is drying,
As I wipe dust from the frame
A lifetime’s picture is complete
I see your tears fall from the sky tonight,
Shines like a rainbow in the rain at night,
My heart starts to beat so irreguarly,
As my eyes start to fill, Nomore can i see
This is the way, it's gonna be,
I've just been told I'm no longer free
So open up the door, take me to a place where your lies are raw,
You change my integrity, You steal my speech and replace it with some blasphomy,
And i don't like.. The changes you make
The ways of your world begin to show,
You do things to me, they'll never know,
Gonna take a gun in my ride tonight,
So i can shot away, the spite of your bite
his is the way, it's gonna be,
I've just been told I'm no longer free
So open up the door, take me to a place where your lies are raw,
You change my integrity, You steal my speech and replace it with some blasphomy,
And i don't like.. The changes you make
So open up the door, take me to a place where your lies are raw,
You change my integrity, You steal my speech and replace it with some blasphomy,
Sit by my side, come as close as the air
Share in a memory of gray
And wander in my words
And dream about the pictures that I play of changes
Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall
To brown and to yellow they fade
But then they have to die
Trapped within the circle time parade of changes
Moments of magic will glow in the night
All fears of the forest are gone
And when the morning breaks
They're swept away by golden drops of dawn of changes
Passions will part to the [Incomprehensible] melody
As fires will sometimes turn cold
Like petals in the wind
We're puppets to the silver strings of souls of changes
Your tears will be trembling, now we're somewhere else
One last drop of wine we will pour
I'll kiss you one more time
And leave you on the rolling river shore of changes
Sit by my side, come as close as the air
Share in a memory of gray
And wander in my words
(feat. Laura V)
There are so many changes in my life
I don't know if it's wrong or if it's right
And I want you, want you by my side
Everything is gonna be alright
Changes in my life
I won't leave you behind
Changes in my life
You will see in time
Changes in my life
You're always on my mind
Changes in my life
I got you by my side
In life we're always looking
Leave the past behind
We try to see the warnings and read all the signs
Sometimes you gotta take chances
Nothing stays the same
The world will keep on turning
the colours are shifting,
and the floor
below me is drifting,
oh god, i'm changing,
it's not just a phase
i'm going through,
it echoes in my head,
old friends,
where are you now,
you said our time
would last forever,
old friends,
did you walk the line?
it's so fine
i really hope you
made it through,
maybe it's better
to leave this behind,
is it only me who romanticise?
old friends,
good bye, good bye,
i guess i have to
forget the past for a while,
i remember, when we
grew up together,
i thought we'd never change,
[Kelly]
I feel unhappy, I am so sad,
I lost the best friend that I ever had
[Ozzy]
She is my baby, I loved her so,
But it's too late now, I've let her go
[Both]
We going through changes
We going through changes
[Kelly]
We shared the years, we shared each day
I love you, dad, but I found my way
[Ozzy]
You know the world is an evil place
My baby is grow now, she'll find her way
[Both]
We going through changes
We going through changes
[Kelly]
It took so long to realize
And I can still hear his last goodbye
[Ozzy]
Now all my days are filled with tears,
Wish I could go back and change these years
[Both]
We going through changes
We going through changes
We going through changes
Changes
Changes
Changes
(feat. Chris Lake)
There are so many changes in my life
I don't know if it's wrong or if it's right
And I want you, want you by my side
Everything is gonna be alright
Changes in my life
I won't leave you behind
Changes in my life
You will see in time
Changes in my life
You're always on my mind
Changes in my life
I got you by my side
In life we're always looking
Leave the past behind
We try to see the warnings and read all the signs
Sometimes you gotta take chances
Nothing stays the same
The world will keep on turning
Every single day is the same.
Nothing ever changes.
Stop thinking.
Start acting.
Watch the constellations change.
There aren't enough candles in this world
to light the darkness in my life.
Before your eyes.
Before these eyes.
I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I lost the best friend
That I ever had
She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
We shared the eve's
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world
Had its evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
It took so long
To realize
That I can still hear
Her last goodbyes
Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years
I'm going through changes
You can change any man
You can change any man
A friend
A tragic end
You can change at any hour
Change the colour of a flower
You can change at any hour
Change a song that needs a change
You can change of opinion everyday
You can change all the rocks you find in your way
Change your mind
Change your life
Change the changes
Change the chances
You can change your shoes
You can change your blues
You can change the colour of your soul
Change your friends
Change your lens
But you know your heart you can't change
Change
You can change the world
You can change a lot more
You can change the girl who lives next door
Change your eye
Day and night
Change your eye
Day and night
You can change your shoes
You can change your blues
You can change the colour of your soul
Change your friends
Change your lens
But you know your heart you can't change
Open your eyes
Lift up your heads
We must look to the heavens
For answers can't be found in men
So be the change
You want to see
In the world today
In your world today
Can you feel it
It's in the air
It's all around
It's everywhere
How can we see tomorrow
If we can not live today
Will there be a new day
If you don't take action now
Will there be a new day
Sit by my side, come as close as the air
share in a memory of gray
and wander in my words and dream about the pictures
that i play
Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall
to brown and to yellow they fade
and then they have to die, trapped within
the circle time parade of changes
Scenes of my young years were warm in my mind
visions of shadows that shine
til one day i returned and found they were the
victims of the vines of changes
(break)
Our hands will be trembling, now we're somewhere else,
one last cup of wine we will pour
and kiss you one more time and leave you on
the rolling river shores of changes.
Sit by my side, come as close as the air
share in a memory of gray
and wander in my words and dream about the pictures
The time has come to take a stand
It's got to go, it's got to end
All this violence is all in the vain
It only brings us sadness and pain
We need some changes
In the world we live
We got to learn to live together
To have a little peace in this world
We got to learn to live together
To have a little peace in your soul
Take away hate from your heart
And let love drive it apart
Love is freedom in every way
So don't let anger drive love away
We need some changes
In the world we live
Love and understanding
Peace and harmony
Love and understanding
The time has come to take a stand
It's got to go, it's got to end
All this violence is all in the vain
It only brings us sadness and pain
We need some changes
In the world we live
We got to learn to live together
To have a little peace in this world
We got to learn to live together
To have a little peace in your soul
Take away hate from your heart
And let love drive it apart
Love is freedom in every way
So don't let anger drive love away
We need some changes
In the world we live
Love and understanding
Peace and harmony
Love and understanding
You have a way with words
never seem to care
and it's hard to believe
in something that's not there, or there
And when I wake
it's the middle of the day and my phone is ringing
When I'm at home, in a world of my own, I stop
And when I wake
it's the middle of the day and my phone is ringing
When I'm at home, in a world of my own
Beneath the land of snow
under the edge of sky
across the Bering Strait
asking himself why, oh why
And when I wake
it's the middle of the day and my phone is ringing
When I'm at home in a world of my own I stop
And when I wake
it's the middle of the day and my phone is ringing
So eager to supply again
keep giving now what you've got in
your so sad and lonely
it's such a scene
I wanna tell you what I can't say
is it always gonna be this way?
everything is one way up and thats all there is
I don't wanna say hey again
chasing round the bed and then
don't wanna lose what I can win
there's something in my head
you said I should let words go
but something inside won't let me show
the shapes that I see in everybody's stares
can feel that I'm not right
am I holding on too tight?
feelings that I'm feeling when everybody stares
I don't wanna say hey again
chasing round the bed and then
I don't wanna lose what I can win
there's something in my head
[x2]
So eager to supply again
keep giving now what you've got in
your so sad and lonely
it's such a scene
I wanna tell you what I can't say
is it always gonna be this way?
Don't Believe it
Can't see it
anywhere
at the party
on the stairway
in the lie
Keep me waiting
I'm afraid of
what you'll do
across the room and
standing closer
but I know you're not there
You told me
You'd be with me
You told me
Ohhhhhhh
You don't care
You'll tell anyone
It's not fair
You don't care
You don't care!
You'll tell everyone
It's not fair
You don't care
In the back room
In the dark night
everyones around
fooling everyone I know
You do it all again
We do it all again and again and again
You told me
You'd be with me
You told me
Ohhhhhhh
You don't care
You'll tell anyone
It's not fair
You don't care
You don't care!
You'll tell everyone
It's not fair
You don't care
In my head
On the street
The things I see
Just because
Because I feel
So free
I'm not afraid of you
No matter how hard you try
This is whats meant to be
and you know why
Wait so long
To believe
All we need
Take my hand
Can't imagine
Anything
I'm not afraid of you
No matter how hard you try
This is whats meant to be
and you know why
All alone when you call
and it feels so right
on a summer's night
Feel the breeze in our hair
As we walk alone
Over and over and over and over and over and over
I'm not afraid of you
No matter how hard you try
This is whats meant to be
and you know why
All I Wanted
Was to be wanted
all I needed
Was to need what I'm feeling
by the radio
with the lights turned off
and you never really knew about it
and you never really did know
[x2]
If you say I'm wrong
Then I know I'm sorry
If you say I'm wrong
It would mean goodbye
And you would not hang around
Or you might
You will not hang around
here tonight
All I Wanted
Was to be wanted
all I needed
Was to need what I'm feeling
by the radio
with the lights turned off
and you never really knew about it
and you never really did know
It's a Modern Love
And its not enough
for me to know
and you to find out
It's a modern love
It's impossible for me
to love you more than I do now
We're together again
After so long
The beating of the heart beats
for one song
arms around each other
hold me close tonight
and I feel the way I used to
you make it alright
One night alone in this world
when there's you and I
Let the feeling surround you
Don't let me pass you by
holding on, holding on, holding on for the first time
And when you go away
you never say goodbye
You never told me if these feelings ever go away
I never seemed to care about them before anyway
You never say
I never know
No, never
Was it something I said
All I wanted was to be
your only friend
listen to your heartbeat
Never meant to make you cry
Sit down beside me
And listen
listen to your heart beat
oh oh oh oh oh oh
(listen to your heart beat woah)
You never told me if these feelings ever go away
I never seemed to care about them before anyway
You never say
I never know
No, never
I found a way
to make it alright
instead of asking
I say whats on my mind
and I take without warning
so I get what i want
it wouldn't come to this
thats what i thought
even when I sleep
I look alright
I don't really care if you're up all night
there's a commotion in your heart
so listen when I say don't stop
now and then
after you've gone
I get a feeling
it's like I don't belong
and I think about something
it was something that you said
is it all wrong?
even when i sleep
i look alright
i don't really care if you're up all night
there's a commotion in your heart
so listen when i say don't stop
and i think about something
it was something that you said
is it all wrong?
even when i sleep
i look alright
i don't really care if you're up all night
there's a commotion in your heart
so listen when i say don't stop
You are walking past us, we look outside
at least we are together - her you and I
at least we are together - her you and I
Meeting at the crosswalk, standing at one side
there is nothing to it, if you wanna hide
we can always hide. He turns on the camera
how did you get so tall (or dull?)
there's nothing to be afraid of
when you get the call
when you get the call
I wonder what your name is, we begin to wail
nothing is more lonely - than a broken sail
nothing is more lonely - than a broken sail
You are not an angel, I know what they did
your face is made of glass - Who shattered it?
your face is made of glass - Who shattered it?
You are walking past us, we look outside
at least we are together, her, you and I
Meeting at the crosswalk, standing at one side
there is nothing to it, if you wanna hide
we can always hide. He turns on the camera

The photograph, the afternoon
the telephone, the plane too soon
I couldn't speak, I couldn't breathe
Not again
The only time, I have with you
is in the car, on the avenue
But all these things, like all my dreams
slip away
On my own again (ooh-oh)
On my own again (ooh-oh)
All alone again
(I need to be)
On my own again (ooh-oh)
(I wanna be)
On my own again (ooh-oh)
(Come on and be)
All alone again
Calling, calling, calling everyday
saying things that no one else could say
You Call
Me late at night
Don't know what
Stops you from falling
I wonder if
you feel inside
Everything that you hide
You try to find
Is it something that you wish
To make me seem like a fool again?
Falling down with you
is all I have to do
You feel
Focused again
Don't know what
Keeps you from calling
I wonder if
you feel inside
Everything that you hide
You try to find
Is it something that you wish
To make me seem like a fool again?
Falling down with you
is all I have to do
Come on, Come on, Come on
Ahhhhhh
I wonder if
you feel inside
Everything that you hide
You try to find
I wonder if
you feel inside
Everything that you hide
You try to find
I wonder if
you feel inside
Everything that you hide
You try to find
I wonder if
you feel inside
Everything that you hide
Standing alone waiting for him,
In the rain I'm coming in,
That is when we meet
You are not an ordinary person,
Like nothing I've ever seen
In the rain, in my jacket, in the dark when we meet.
You say goodbye as I'm going in,
Here comes a car you're getting in,
But all you see is me
I'm not an ordinary person,
Like nothing you've ever seen.
In the rain, in my jacket, in the dark when we meet.
Make it hard to ask
My feelings are not glass
You cannot break them apart
When it's real from the start.
Oh...
I'm not an ordinary person,
Like nothing you've ever seen,
In the rain, in my jacket, in the dark when we meet.
I'm not an ordinary person,
Like nothing you've ever seen.
In the rain, in my jacket, in the dark when we meet.
Make it hard to ask
Well this is the part
We feel the lust
Running through the lies
Learning how to trust
You can buy a love for a dollar
Faith for a day
In this awkward place
Seven days a week
Our future’s lost
All our hopes and dreams
Have turned to dust
You can boy a love for a dollar
Faith for a day
In this crucial game
I can feel the symptoms
I can feel the pain (I can feel the pain)
Everybody’s changing
Everybody goes
I don’t wanna find out
I don’t wanna go
If I die tomorrow bleeding
I will not regret the days when I was alive [x2]
Well this is the part
We feel the stain
The old familiar friend
So we complain
You can buy a love for a dollar
Faith for a day
In this awkward place
I can serve you drugs on golden plate
Absolution for your broken veins
You can buy a love for a dollar
Faith for a day
In this awkward place
I can feel the symptoms
Everybody’s changing
Everybody goes
I don’t wanna find out
I don’t wanna go
If I die tomorrow bleeding
I will not regret the days when I was alive [x2]
There better be some changes
And it better happen today
Cause all the shit I see
There's got to be another way
We need some positive changes
There's been enough for the worst
You losers better watch your back
Because we're taking out the drunks first
When temptation, pressure come along
Just remember we're thousands strong
I've always been sincere,
For the scene is what I live
Get the fuck out,
If you have nothing positive to give
We need the kids who don't use that crutch
Put down that beer, is it asking too much?
I found the edge some nine years ago
I learned I don't need drugs
I learned to say no
It's all right to be different from your friends
Sit by my side
Come as close as the air
Share in a memory of gray
And wander in my words
Dream about the pictures
That I paint of changes
Green leaves of summer
Turn red in the fall
To brown and to yellow
They fade
And then they have to die
Trapped within the circle time
Parade of changes
Scenes of my young years
Are warm in my mind
Visions of shadows that shine
Till one day I returned
And found they were the victims
Of the vines of changes
The world's spinning madly
It drifts in the dark
Swings through a hollow of haze
A race around the stars
(A race around the stars)
A journey through the universe ablaze
(A journey through the universe ablaze)
With changes
Your tears will be trembling
Now we're somewhere else
One last cup of wine, we will pour
And I'll kiss you one more time
And leave you on the rolling
River shores of changes
I'll kiss you one more time
(I'll kiss you one more time)
And leave you on the rolling river shores
(And leave you on the rolling river shores)
All his life he dreamt of her,all her life she did the
same,
so much time spent wishing on stars
then one day she came along,
one more time to give love a try,
he hopes she'll be all that he needs.
Hope is all that they need.
Will this last forever?
Forever feels too short.
Please take my hand
and never let go,
You're the world i've been dreaming of,
just never let go.
Is this the new me?
Is that the old you?
Nothing seems the same,
happiness seems to be fleeting,
there's no such thing as happy endings,
they dreamt too long without a clue,
nothing else feels the same
Please take my hand
and never let go,
You're the world i've been dreaming of,
I used to take a second for a pray
I used to sleep on a freezing bed of stone.
Chages twist your life
Changes twist your mind.
Time has come again
Time to be alone.
What I belived
Now is a ready gone, already gone
Are lonely tears dancing inside a storm.
I'm crying, resting on myself
I'm dying, shifting life to death
I'm falling, down from the height
I'm dreaming, from heaven to hell.
With a white moon in a dark sky
On my own like the moon the emptiness surrond me.
I feel unhappy, I feel so sad I've lost the best friend, that I ever had. She was my woman, I love her so. But it's too late now, I've let her go.
I'm going through changes. I'm going through changes.
We shared the years, we shared each day. In love together, we found a way. But soon the world, had it's evil way. My heart was blinded, love went astray.
I'm going through changes. I'm going through changes.
It took so long, to realize. And I can still hear her last goodbyes. Now all my days, are filled with tears. Wish I could go back, and change these years.
changes, i guess i'd better ask you why
changes, it's something that we just can't hide
changes, why can't we give it one more try?
changes, why do we keep on wasting time?
why do we keep on hurting each other?
why do we always blame one another?
changes, why must we make each other cry?
changes, why must we keep on living lies?
changes, will this be our last good-bye?
changes, it hurts too must to watch love die
how did we let our love grow apart?
Out of ways to go
Going with the floods
Moving it over
Over and over
All I see from here
Just standing free and clear
Is money for nothing?
More than enough
This is the time for me
Right where I wanna be
I'm runnin it all
Is something on?
Without your smiling face
I'll never win this race
Ain't nothing better
I'm looking for changes
Just keep it silent
Everybody know it's all just fine
I'm looking for changes
Help me sing it
Right here I'll have my every fight
Losing every day
Like I never fade away
No need to say it
I'm loving every day
If there's a battle there
I'm leaving it now
And no need to show me
All insecurities
Ain't got a hold on me
I'm better than ever
Now and forever
Sweet opportunity
Is what he's giving me
It's all I needed
I'm looking for changes
Just keep it silent
Everybody know it's all just fine
I'm looking for changes
Help me sing it
Right here I'll have my every fight
Cause ain't nothing I'd do
Cause ain't nothing I'd say
I will make you see that I'm still standing strong
And I'm always rational
Tell me some place I can go
I'm looking for changes (changes)
Just keep it silent (changes)
Everybody know it's all just fine (I'll stay right here)
I'm looking for changes
Help me sing it (I don't need you wiz)
Right here I'll have my every fight (I'm feeling it is hard for you)
I'm looking for changes
Just keep it silent
Everybody know it's all just fine
I'm looking for changes
Help me sing it
Right here I'll have my every fight
I'm looking for changes
Just keep it silent
Everybody know it's all just fine
I'm looking for changes
Help me sing it
I need to change the direction of my life
Other way to think, other way to feel
My mind is infected
I´m tired to do what they told to me
I need a chance, I need a change
I need a new way
I must erase my emptiness
Maybe this life´s not so important
Maybe this life is just a farce
Maybe it´s just a fancy dress party
Who will deprive me of this privilege
Changes
All around me still remains insanity
Changes
All inside me, Revolution!
Oppression, resistance
It´s true, it´s a lie
The party in my mind´s beginning
Our life turns into a lie
I´m not able to make out the present
I can´t even know if I am real
I can´t distinguish
Between present and past
