Nathan Hale (June 6, 1755 – September 22, 1776) was a soldier for the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He volunteered for an intelligence-gathering mission in New York City but was captured by the British. He is probably best remembered for his purported last words before being hanged: "I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country." Hale has long been considered an American hero and, in 1985, he was officially designated the state hero of Connecticut.
Nathan Hale was born in Coventry, Connecticut in 1755 to Richard Hale and Elizabeth Strong. In 1768, when he was thirteen years old, he was sent with his brother Enoch to Yale College. Nathan was a classmate of fellow patriot spy Benjamin Tallmadge. The Hale brothers belonged to the Yale literary fraternity, Linonia, which debated topics in astronomy, mathematics, literature, and the ethics of slavery. Graduating with first-class honors in 1773, Nathan became a teacher, first in East Haddam and later in New London.

Even as bizarre cosmic phenomena threaten all of humanity, Carl treks into the wilderness in a single-minded quest for revenge against those who have wronged him. Along the way, Carl carves a bloody trail through sadistic prison camp guards, small-town business entrepreneurs, and international assassins-for-hire, while matching wits with black marketeers, resurrected advertising middle managers, and the devout worshipers of a marine biologist-turned-priest. But as his surreal travels begin to take a toll on him, Carl finds himself increasingly unable to conduct business as usual.

Plot: In the year of 1776, the British Army invaded New York, storming its shores. The Battle of Brooklyn had begun. New York was at war. With General George Washington holding ground on Manhattan Island, the strength of the British was proving to be too strong. Defeat was expected. Washington expressed his concern about losing to the British and feared his fight for independence was in jeopardy. He realized that more information was needed about British movements to ensure the survival of his Army. He called for a volunteer to travel behind enemy lines and return with any information about the British General Howe's plan of attack. Despite the pleas of his friends and fellow officers, one man volunteered for the job. Assuming the disguise of a Dutch Schoolmaster, he moves quietly into enemy territory.

Genres: Drama, Short,Take me to the place I used to know
For too long I've been waiting on this road
I need you here beside me
I need you in my home
I feel it through inside me
Straight down through the bone
(chorus)
Baby it's gone
Baby it's long, long gone
Lightning through the railroad
Cows are lying down
Waiting for the rain to break
I want to come and see you
Want to see your face
Can't do it any other way
(repeat chorus)
You are insatiable
All my dreams are wicked
You are insatiable
All my dreams are wicked
Take me to the place I used to know
For too long I've been walking on this road
I need you here beside me
I need you in my home
I feel it through inside me
Straight down through the bone
